    @jeffreymoss Thanks for these detailed videos. I am planning to buy one of the two, Boox Go 10.3/Boox Note Air 4C.
    Question: Even though there is just a gap of 3 months between the Boox Go 10.3 and Note Air 4C:
    1. From the software features perspective do you see Note Air 4C better than Boox Go 10.3?
    2. Does the Note Air 4C feel faster compared to Go 10.3?
    3. When the frontlight is off, which screen looks brighter and clearer for Black and White text?
    4. How are the AI features support in these two devices (not just for note taking/text recognition or shapes, but the content as well, if I want to know more about a piece of displayed text from a book etc.), the Way you selected a piece of text and you could bring in AI, could you do that in Go 10.3 as well?
    5. From AI features perspective (the above mentioned features + others) do you think ViWoods AIPaper > Note Air 4c > Boox Go 10.3 (I do not know the order, just a placeholder)?
    Thanks!

      1. I don't see a huge leap from the 10.3 to the 4C, and what changes are there will likely get applied to the 10.3 in time.
      2. Not sure. I'll take a look at that and maybe comment on that in a future video.
      3. No, if the front light is off, the 10.3 is much easier to read with it's lighter background.
      4. The 4C does introduce a bit more AI integration, most notably in the reader app. There you can bring up the AI chatbot (same as the app, but integrated into the reader app). But it's not nearly as well integrated as with the Viwoods devices.
      5. Viwoods is the clear winner here. 4C is slightly better than the 10.3, but as noted earlier, I think the 10.3 will get updated to match the 4C

    Thx for your excellent guide through Air 4C. I;m planning to buy the tablet but I'm not sure if it supports Greek in both handwriting and type. Can you inform me on that?. Many thanks again

      Apparently it supports Google Play apps in Greek, but I don't see it in the natively supported language list. I might be missing it though. What would Greek look like written out in Greek? That's how they display languages: in the native script.

      Yep, here it is on Etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/1496433820/digital-pdf-planner-links?ref=yr_purchases. It only costs a bit over a dollar! FYI, I have no relationship with the seller, just something I found on the internet.

    Sorry for all of the questions, Jeffrey. I have the NA1. I can put the device into sleep mode by placing the pen on the top in the green metallic area. Is that option also available on the NA4C? How do you usually put it to sleep? Do you just hit the button? TIA.

    • @jeffreymoss
      @jeffreymoss  3 дні тому +1

      That probably works because of the magnets. I couldn't replicate that on the NA4C however. But I just close the cover and it goes into sleep mode. That's a setting that can be turned off, but I prefer that. Otherwise, I'd probably have to use the power button.

      @ Ah. Got it. I like the option of sleeping it without closing the cover. I use that with the transparent screensaver and leave it on my to do list. Thanks for the feedback!

    Is it possible to take notes on a .doc or .pdf file, index/search them and share them?

    • @jeffreymoss
      @jeffreymoss  21 годину тому

      Both .doc and .pdf files can be loaded in the reader, and you can take notes on them. The notes then show in the Contents section of the app where you can jump to those pages. I can't seem to search on my writing however. I don't believe you can search or see an index on written annotations if you export the file, but I may be mistaken on that front. Handwritten notes seem to just carry forward as part of the document that you can't interact with.

    Personally , what's your fav remarkable paper pro vs note air 4. - this definitely wins over the features like speech to text and access to web.

    • @jeffreymoss
      @jeffreymoss  5 днів тому +1

      That's a great question. I think I like the Note Air 4 C more for its versatility and the detailed notetaking app. I do think colors stand out better on the RMPP, but that's not enough for me in the end.

    What about the compatibily with Microsoft Word or Excel?

    • @jeffreymoss
      @jeffreymoss  2 дні тому

      You can load the android versions of those apps which are pretty good. I don't use Excel much and wouldn't recommend that unless you paired the device with a keyboard that had a 10-key, but I do use Word quite a bit and it's solid.

    does the auto shapes (where you freehand a line/circle etc and hold at the end) - let you adjust after it sets? on my go 10.3 if I use that to draw a line (my most common need) it seems to fix the end point so its awkward to put in the right location and I end up having to go through the shapes tool. Having that auto adjust update the shape but let you move the endpoint would be better I think

    • @jeffreymoss
      @jeffreymoss  7 днів тому

      One you draw a shape and then it converts, you have the option to resize it. If you go on to do other things, that option goes away. At that point, you are just left with the lasso tool and resizing the shape that way, which isn't quite the same. Hope that helped.

    Hi Jeffrey. What is the advantage of using a PDF with template links in Notes vs just importing the PDF into Neoreader and annotating it there? Is it that the Notes section has more features, like tags, and so forth? Thanks!

    • @jeffreymoss
      @jeffreymoss  6 днів тому +1

      That's a question I have asked as well! But a lot of folks seem really focused on this functionality as I've seen people asking this question for a while now. I can only imagine that the tools available in the Notes app are better for what folks want to do with the document, or that folks prefer the layout of the Notes UI to the Reader UI (I would agree with that sentiment). But honestly, I'm not 100% clear on why this has been an area of interest.

    • @johnmanley4528

      interesting. I think the Super Note has had this option for a while. I think it's for options like tag, which are useful. I don't think tags are available in Neoreader.

    I like that you can see favourites and recent at the same time. In Go 10.3 UI you have to choose between favourites and recent. It's very annoying.
