I dunno, with some of these decks you see in these A VS B scenarios, the Shadow Realm is the only place I can see them going :P

@nigerianprinceajani There was a duel I saw on a Live that had one player do the "send whole extra to grave, switch it with Exchange Of Spirit" and apparently they weren't paying attention because they sent a Branded Tear player's deck.
The last duel was bonkers. Quite surprised by the amount of creativity low ranked players come up with.
HIghly doubt they are low ranked players, just people playing their jank decks in casual matches.
That was one of the most BASED FTKs EVER. MYSTICAL REFPANEL.
That's so much worse than an FTK. The only thing worse than an FTK is making your opponent demonstrate to the self how powerless they are first

Sprights mixed with something else. Fright furs with sprights. Or on occasion the infinitetrack or whatever their called mixed with block dragon & gears. 😂 sometimes. Just sometimes. I’ll run into a dino deck. 😂 struggle is real

One thing you learn from playing Rikka, you have a Rikka Petal in graveyard, the duel is *never* over.
In that last duel duelist B wasnt trying to win. No, an FTK would be too simple. He was trying to make a statement.
I like the idea of that deck being used to climb the ladder using social dynamics. Once am opponent loses to that deck, the next time they see it, they'll forfeit to avoid going through all that again. This way you can climb the ladder not through pure dueling skill, but through infamy.

is simply the landmines
People do be climbing, it’s all fun and games in ranked until you meet the tearlament player who is just there to play on his and your turn.
Low ranks contain 3 types of players
1 bad conection players takes 40 sec to the servers to understand that he activated upstar
2 kids that dont know anything happening
3 some dawnstar students with the difference they cant do loops cuz of time so they find a way to ftk with the weirdest type of cards
And as one of those players i found a superheavy samurai 1 card ftk withoutthe use of new support (its a bishbalkin ftk) and its not even that brickey in a weird way

I dont use db so im going to write it step by step
STARTERS
*Soulpiercer* or *wagon* any one of them work and they are a one card combo
But a difference between them
*Soulpiercer* take 1 discard and 1 pseudo discard
*Wagon* take 2 discards and 1 pseudo discard
What do i mean by a *pseudo discard*
In the end of a combo you will need to pendulum dummon any monster in addition to what you have from the combo for some link plays for my decklist it literally impossible to have a hand where a combo will be stopped cause of that and even if you changed the deck the chance of this comming is like drawing an exodia hand so its not really something to bother with (it may come if you opponent disrupts your plays tho )
Other STARTERS
any 2 lvl5 monsters that special summon them self for free i play 12 of them
Thats cause an infintrak lvl 5 xyz monster that basically add an earth machine which is going to be soulpiercer
If you start by this way then you only have 1 discard to worry about
For the names i will put them at the end as i forgot what the names of the lvl 5 mosters i play
And the combo have two garnets i basically play two copies of them to work around it
THE *combo*
Im going to start with soulpiercer as its the most obvius and easy to explain
1 summon soulpiercer
2 link it to scarecrow
3 soulpiercer search for wagon
4 use scarecrow discard wagon summon wagon from gy
5 use wagon to search for peacemaker
6 equip peace maker to scare crow and use it effect tributing it and summon scales from deck (*scales* is not a brick as you can reverse between it and wagon when you draw scales with a starter)
7 scales summon soulpiercer from gy
8 xyz by wagon and scales to getgear gigant x
9 use gear gigant x to search for symphonic warrior guitar
10 link gear gigant and soulpiercer to get ancient gear the link 2 (forgot its name )
11use the ancient gear link to get ancient gear box and use soulpiercer to search any lvl 5 shs monster
12 use box to search for infintrak the lvl 4 (also forgot its name )
13 pendulum scales symphonic warrior guitar
14 use symphonic warrior guitar to discard a card: spichal symphonic warrior micc (symphonic warrior micc give you an additional normal summon )
15 link for beyond the pendulum using micc and the ancient gear link monster
16 use beyond the pendulum to search for symphonic warrior guitaress ( i think i miss spilled the name)
17 pendulum summon for micc,lvl 5 shs, ancient gear box,infintrak lvl4 monster, and any monster from hand(the pseudo discard)
18 xyz for the lvl 5 xyz monster thats used in bishbalkin ftk (also forgot its name)
19 use the additional monster you summoned(the pseudo discard)to link for the link 2 dino that changes tybe or attribute (another card i forgot its name wow)
20 Use guitaress to bounse it back to hand with guitar
21 normal summon guitaress by the additional normal you got
22 synchro for any tuner genaric lvl 7 monster by using quitaress and box put it under the dino link 2
23 change its tybe to machine
24 use the infintrak monster and target the synchro monster to increase there lvl to anything above 8 will work
25 synchro for bishbalkin
26use bishbalkin effect summon three tokens
27 use one of the token summon linkkuriboh
28 link for the link 2 monster that swap monsters in field (also forgot its name)
29 use it to swap between bishbalkin and token
30 you know whats comming no need to say it
for chances of drawing a full combo its probably so.ething between 70-80% (i did not use ai or math website to calculate it its only from how i feel about it playing and using the draw five cards to test and i also was only putting 9 lvl 5 not 12 which is a change i made this day and the combo i found like six month ago and i did not play 12 mainly cause 1 of the lvl 5 discard a card to summon it self which i see as too much but i will try playing it and see)

That second duel was so cool, because I myself play pure versions of both Rikka and Abyss Actor. It almost felt like watching me duel myself.
And that third duel was so crazy!
We all know that low ranked is where the real content is.
Half of these kinds of plays you can find even in Gold. There is a reason why i kept sticking to it. Your opponent is playing some meta deck and the next its some kind of Jank Deck with staples.
Yea gold is imo the most diverse and fun rank. Less of the current meta decks and more wild jannk and crazy combos.I regularly let myself drop back to gold just to experience it.
They moved to platinum now because gold is now the new silver being unable to demote.

WHERE WERE THESE CHADS WHEN I TRIED CASUAL? Casual matches for me have been nothing but stun and Tear players thinking they're clever.
I had much more fun on the lower levels than I've ever had on Platinum.
We lower ranked duelists still know how to have fun.

Literally just a video of you deckbuilding with chat would go omega hard. Maybe let big enough donos choose what deck you play / make. Something new is cool, but even just a new variant of a deck you already play would rock

Where do people find these duelists? I always get paired against people with optimal tiered decks even in rookie. Spright, Tear, etc. all with the full suite of hand traps and otherwise that you’d expect.

Normal Spell:
Discard 1 card; your opponent reveals their hand and must special summon as many monsters from their hand as possible, then, if your opponent controls more monsters than you, they may draw equal to the difference, and if you control more monsters than your opponent, you may activate one of these effects based on the difference:
* 1+, add 1 nouvelles monster from your deck to your hand
* 2+, add 1 recipe card from your deck to your hand
* 3+, add 1 ritual monster and 1 ritual spell from your deck or graveyard to your hand.
Once i start getting close to gold i tend to stop cause i prefer playing super casual decks so these are super fun to watch

i lefit stopped playing master duel. I dismantled all of my non generic URs making all of my decks except my mekk-knights unplayable so i’m not tempted. and I’ll come back when an archetype that actually interests me is playable and the banlist isnt ass.

They used their normal summon on lonefire already. Had they done the tribute rikka princess with glamour play first to bait the ash, then normal’d lonefire it would’ve worked, but hindsight is 20 20

I let my self de-rank after every season to farm gems and I love the rookie duels. I had a dude summon a 12k chimera over dragon? Whatever the hell that fusion is and attacked into my construct😂 I just feel like people don't read but the wacky duels are crazy
I feel like Ra was so close to being playable. Pay 1k to pop a monster is such a strong effect but if it requires 3 tributes and is a 0/0 it's pretty bad. A big beater that sets you to 100 and has no protection is just awful since unless you have a life advantage and/or swing into a low attack guy it won't kill and you're almost assuredly dead on the crackback. If they gave it the anime effect where its stats equaled the 3 tributes then it might have been fine. Could play it as Ra control or have it be a massive finisher.
Like Seereax once said, I think the Egyptian god cards should get retrains to make them better and competitive. Though Obelisk just needs a slight change to his second effect where he's no longer restricted to attack then he'd be perfect. xd

In MD it feels more like a rogue deck because it gets hard countered by Maxx "C" and most of its interaction being monster removal means its viability is extremely format dependent, which is difficult when decks like Tearlaments, Runick and Labrynth are all in the format.

what the fuck the Clock Wyvern player just kept pulling more random cards out of their ass, I didn't see the mills off of Clock but suddenly there's like four summons and then next turn Block and Snow just jump out. I'm not even mad at that point
