    I bought a TS354D from Jordan Repairs in 2018 and have been using it to mow tall grass and brush on my property, it is a beast. It has Cruise Control, Locking differential and a rugged cutting deck. The back Wheels are huge, never got stuck. One of the best options on the market for the price i paid for it.

      To me the overall quality of the Deere is better. With the Husky it never had any big issues, just a bunch of small ones that put it out of service. Not true with the Deere.

    I have a 2021 Husqvarna TS354XD and I love it! It's their top model garden tractor and It's an absolute beast! The JD 300 series just doesn't come close in comparison and I did compare them before I made my purchase. For the price point it's at you just can't beat all the top grade features the Husqvarna comes with. You have to jump up to the 500 series JDs to start getting some of those same features. However there are a few things that the 500 JDs have that the Husqvarna doesn't, but they cost anywhere from $1500-$4000 more depending on the model! I know I'm probably being a little biased, but I just don't think you can beat the Husqvarna especially for the money. Plus let's face it, that Husqvarna orange is just down right sexy!!!

    Thank you! You answered a question I had. I'm buying the VS Husquarna. I had a Honda push mower it lasted 15 years. then I bought a Husqvarna the best mower I ever bought. Honda was good but Husqvarna Is Great!

    reading the negative comments is disheartening.
    where is your respect and decency? yes we all have opinions, but this is an observation.
    no need for all these rude remarks folks.
    The intelligent thing to do is to be mindful of how you deliver your constructive criticism, that said you will get the results you want in this world because people will listen to you.
    keep your negative comments to yourself, sit down, exercise your currently sub par ability to control your impulsive, verbally abusive tendencies and listen to yourself for a change.
    In time, and for your own benefit, you too, will one day, be able to tell the difference between a green field and a cold steel rail.

    Biggest sway for John Deere in these small one's is the JD has the FS Kawasaki engines while the Husqvarna's in this range use the Kohler or Kawasaki FR engines. But bang per buck Husqvarna wins imo. If you got no $$ limit go for the Deere.

    Looking for info on the TS348XD Husqvarna lawn tractor. I like the fact that is comes with the smallest commercial hydrostatic the K66 with electronic diff lock. It also comes with the Kawasaki FR series engine. It is the lowest grade of Kawasaki, but imo a much better engine than what most manufacturers offer in this price range. I believe the FR to be the same internals as the more expensive FS or even FX series,,but I maybe wrong. My biggest question on the TS Garden Tractor line is the frame a heavier gauge than the standard Husky lawn mower lineup. My neighbor has a LGT2654 model, and like any model has its pro's and con's..But the worse part of the machine is the awful frame flex it has. My clunker D140 JD I picked up used for a spare machine has a much heavier gauge frame with way more resistance to flexing than that 2654 has. I know the TS348XD isn't quite on par with an X500 series as they have the K72 tuff torq, but nearly twice the price of the Husky!! It's hard to argue with $3499.00 US for a TS348XD that has a commercial K66 Tuff Torq and GT size tires with difflock as well as a Kawasaki powerplant and the heavy duty Clear cut deck. I would prefer a new Kubota GR2120 for a GT but I already own a 10K Kubota Z725 new last year which is my main machine. I just need a decent GT for my hard mowing areas of customers...I'm hoping the TS348 XD will be worth my money..Gotta do more research..Thanks.

      I bought a TS 354xd...I cut a hole in the rear plate to service the tranny...450 hrs. .it has broken down multiple times..deck bearings are sealed and all 3 went out approx 300 hours. Frame flex is pathetic...green paint 2 to 1.

      Thousands? 🤣🙄
      According to reviews by patrons at Lowes, yes. The Husqvarnas are a few hundred dollars cheaper, but they also received lower ratings than the JDs...
      I guess you get what you pay for... 🤑

  • @rogermurph101
    @rogermurph101 6 років тому +7

    Not sure this is a fair comparison. I don't know how the Husqvarna models go. A JD 500 series is where the locking diffs start, so maybe you should be comparing one of those. I also noticed that's a fairly old Deere you're comparing to what looks like a new Husky. The digital dash on the current 300 series is much larger and has a voltmeter, hour gauge, and a gas gauge, so you don't really need the reserve. You'd have to be wearing clown shoes to have a problem working the two pedals for the hydro. I assume the Husky setup is more of a heel/toe rocker situation? Don't like those. And everybody I know bypasses the RIO anyway. Hey, it beats a Troy-Bilt, I'm just not a fan.

    • @chrisam601
      @chrisam601  6 років тому +2

      The Ls series is a direct competitor to the 300 series.. you will not buy a 500 series John Deere tractor for 3600 dollars in Canada.

      Correct, Nothing wrong with the husqvarna but he is comparing it to the older x300 that I own and not the newer models with the digital display. The safety lever for the reverse is for liability reasons so you don't back over your child or dog its not rocket science to make one that doesn't .

    Why is the consumer arguing with a mechanic? They are both great tractors. Granted, they are not commercial grade, but both should satisfy any owner over the big box stores models. I own neither, I have a Kubota GR2120-2-48 diesel model. It cost a lot more than the others, I will probably never have to buy another. 9 grand is a lot for a tractor. Not dishing JD or Husky.
    Buy what you can afford and by all means..by from a dealer. You'd be happy you did.

    Both be good machines but it seems the same trend in this department as it does in the larger agricultural equipment John Deere more expensive than the competition and you get less for it out new Holland was a good 20k cheaper than the equivalent Deere new Holland boosts to 270hp and the Deere 255hp, both good machines but you definitely seem to pay more for the green paint

    • @tommytruth7595
