Sept 30, 2022 at Knuckleheads here in Kansas City, Mo, at the Drew Holcomb concert a 10 year old boy and his folks did the same thing. Must be a "thing"!?
Aww that's so awesome. I've heard of Skillet doing a similar thing when they dedicated one of their songs to a dude when they heard that it was the reason he got saved.
Exactly. Emotion, music, videos, theme, they don't only sing with emotion, they make the listeners feel emotion. I love RED, but most of my friends have no idea who they are or refuse to listen to them.
I think this is the best Christian Rock album in YEARS. Even Skillet feels a little off these days. Still great of course but man, this one takes the cake for me.
Been listening to Red for several years now, back when I was only allowed to listen to Christian music. I've always preferred rock music in all it's variations,so I was so happy to find this band. Their sound transcends genres.
@@leslielorchak5114 oh yeah, definitely. I've actually net the singer and bassist, who are married btw, back when I worked for a church that helped put together an awesome concert. Met the members of Pillar as well.

The perfect blend of Rock and techno with heart felt lyrics. Best music I've heard in months thank god they made another album. I have all of their songs. They are astounding
A lot of trashy pop/rap/hip hop/R&B "music" videos can get over a million views in 24 hours, but one of Red's biggest hits only gets 400k+ in 3 months? People need to realize that lip syncing, stuttering, shitty lyrics, autotune, cursing, and half-naked girls are not signs of musical talent. Yes, I understand that perception of music, art, drama etc. depends on the person, but think about what you're listening to. Unlike the viral crap, Red's songs have deep lyrics, can be interpreted in different ways, have a unique style, and a lead singer with an insane vocal range (check him out in concert if you don't believe me).
taylor antley Thing is, this music isn't for the masses. The general populace loves feel good catchy songs that don't take much thought to appreciate. This is a trend I've noticed even among viral songs. Ex: Bruno Mars' ''Grenade'' is extremely popular and has amassed 100s of millions of view in a few years, and is a thoughtful, deep song. Why, then, does his hit ''Uptown Funk'', a catchy jive with no meaning, have twice the views in a fraction of the time? Because it's catchier and can be played in more situations like parties than a song of heartbreak. And I say this as an avid listener of both songs. Another one...why is ''Coco'' popular at all? It's a stupid song, so how can so many folks listen to it? Because it's senseless and catchy as hell. I only needed to hear half of it one time to recognize it anywhere. Also, the image of being an ''emo'' genre also keeps many away. It is wrong, but true. And even more, not everyone appreciates the sound. If I had found this album 2 years ago, I would not have liked a single thing about it. Much like how many dislike the sounds of country, EDM, or pop, many dislike the rock\metal sounds.

Still I find you lost inside the darkest part of me
It’s my descent, a familiar pain
Of watching all I believed fade away
Of traitors and fools
Of beggars and thieves
Which mask will you choose?
What is underneath?
I never wanted you to see
The darkest part of me
I knew you’d run away
I waited but you never came
So afraid to be alone
I tried to let you go
Still I find you lost inside the darkest part of me
Am I the black stain of your perfect life?
Am I the darkness that you need to hide?
It covers you
It spills over you
I never wanted you to see
The darkest part of me
I knew you’d run away
I waited but you never came
So afraid to be alone
I tried to let you go
Still I find you lost inside the darkest part of me
I absolutely love the last part where it transitions into Feed The Machine's music video!
HOLY WOW. Red never disappoints with their music videos. Seriously, if you like rock music, cinematography, or just creative storytelling, *WATCH THIS RIGHT NOW.*
autumn hobbit i know Holy shit!
autumn hobbit its would be a great movie!
That guitar spin was amazing
7:03 gives me chills every time
Red has the best official music videos!
😊I love g r song v
Man red never disappoints. They really resonate with my soul. I love pretty much every song I listen to. Who cares of they are Christian or not it shouldn't matter. Talent is what should matter and these guys got it.
I love g song h
i used to think breaking benjamin was bad music but now they are one of my favorite bands! keep it up guys!
Of Beauty and rage... best RED album.
you wanna know the difference between music, and different notes in a sequence..... emotion, A lot of music misses that crucial part.
i feel this song inside me, so fucking cool
+xathora Exactly. So much of the radio music lacks emotion/soul today.
I agree wholeheartedly. So many groups today lack the feeling that music should evoke. A lot of their music I can feel inside of me, and it is why Red is my all-time favorite group. I've been listening to them for years and they never get old
I have Loved this band since 2006. First time I heard them I was hooked
This is good, great concept.
Should be on the FM
I'm soooioio tired of the crap they force feed us.
Just saw them live last night, absolutely incredible. Own every studio album by them, and this song is one of my favorites ever.
The winter jam?
Yep.
+kite hess i was there too!
+1800 Yato-Bling Me too!
+No_ Frets I just saw them on the 20th. 😂
You see the darkness first to truly comprehend the light. Then the choice becomes yours. Never bow to the evil and take tge devil's mark. ✝️
The double guitar flip! 👌🏽👌🏽 on point. Also I just feel like this music video has made me realize how we don't often realize this spiritual battle that is going on in our life.
The brothers are so cool. That guitar swing is amazing! I wonder how many takes it took.
From innocence and instinct to beauty and rage = meaning.
Боже, 7 лет прошло с тех пор как я слушала эту песню. Все эти года искала и нашла 😭❤❤❤
Я тоже...
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that double guitar flip
Doesnt matter that they're a christian band.. Music has no religion.
Just rock out together brothers & sisters.
Still a banger🙌Still beautiful🙌Still Art
《RED》
This video leads into Feed The Machine!! Holy crap!
+Chris Gansen (Dakisstopher) And that video leads to Release the panic
CalRufus -gamer Writer and Animator- So cool! I saw that after I made this post. I am excited to see what they have in store next...
Yep
Ikr!!
Look up "The Ever" it is the official graphic novel based on it. I bought it at a RED concert and it is a great read.
Heading out to see these guys tonight for the first time!! Been a long time waiting!!
These guys are amazing. If I were asked to pick a favorite album from them, I wouldn't be able to choose. I cannot say that for any of the other bands I listen to, not even my top favorites. This is why they're my favorite band.
great album. very creative as usual and the guys are decent actors IMHO. the new album is very good as well. rock on Red!.
not many people know this is a Christian band!! Love them!!!
Because of comments like these, most people know. However, not many people care
So underrated band when they are supposed to be on the top!
True story: See 7:03 *devilish grin and gets guitar* ROCK LIFE! *Strap burns my neck and guitar hits the lamp*... Dreams are crushed
This comment made me laugh and feel better. Thank you.
LOL Hilarious! I am not laughing at your pain, I am laughing with you.
*Sees **7:03*

red is so awesome, darkest part might be my new favorite song by them, that riff is insane.
So in love with this band, idc if they're Christian, just the lyrics of every song are so damn good and have a powerful message, love me some RED 😍🖤😍🖤
Red Rocks! They should Rule the World!😇🙏❤
Check out In My Coma group
And now you can begin to understand your purpose and your destiny. He is with us always. There is still love here, amidst the chaos

There is still love here
amidst the darkness

Red and demon hunter are both great. I listened to em both for qhile before I even realized they were Christian. Long time metal head here

7:02 this moment is amazing :)
Wow....voice of note...gave me goosebumps!!
Love this video, even though it's 5 years old, still listen to this album all the time and love the story in the video. All the comments on the guitar swing at 7:03 is great... being a twin all I can say is #twinpower !!
These guys are some of the best I've ever heard, they deserve awards
We are broken because we've been separated from God because of sin,
Jesus is the answer atoning our sin on the cross that brings us back to
God thru the Holy Spirit. You've always been loved.
I wish I could up vote this video 50,000 times-I freaking love this so much.
Darkest part=Feed the Machine= Release the panic. They all go together if you watch the music videos in that order.
+cookiemonstergirl236 There is a theory that "Perfect Life" leads into "Darkest Part" and so on.
it's movie if you put it together
Perfect Life could go at either end. The beginning or end. It makes sense either way, but it slightly alters the story depending on where it is.
+cookiemonstergirl236 Okay I will try that. I am new to this band as I have not been up on Christian rock groups of late. I still have White Heart as my top Christian rock group and even saw Petra early in their career but I have grown apart from the Church lately and missed recent developments musically. I used to really like also Whitecross and Bride but that is probably showing my age. LOL
+Joshua Roberts you're missing out on a lot of good music, dude ;) Check out Decyfer Down, Thousand Foot Krutch, Demon Hunter.
WOW! The first song I heard from this Group. And the best músic vídeo ever!!!
I wish I could give this way more likes than just the one.
Make multiple UA-cam accounts, and hit like with all of them, until you're satisfied
