I’m a die hard metal fan and a very religious man. I love this band such a powerful message. For those who don’t know already it’s about him needing Christ because he is falling away from him everyday. Rock on 🤘
As a recovering alcoholic, this song brings me to tears. I remember the times I’d desperately pray and ask God to take my addiction away. It took years but it finally happened after I almost died from an intestinal infection. Why are so many people saying that he sucks? If you actually listen to the whole thing, or actually just listen to his voice (omg shocking!!) you can hear the emotion and everything. His singing is great. *sigh*
And not to offend listeners of what you listed, but Red's music has very deep meaning. As you may know, many of their songs tell of their journey through religion (whether it's a struggle or whatnot). And for some people, religion is a huge and crucial part of their lives. So the emotion that Moves Like Jaeger was talking about has deep, meaningful roots.
+Damon Bottorff I missed them, I was buying the merchandise, however when I walked in and they were still playing there was like sparks and fire and I was like O_O
I'm a bit late to the party with Red. But I found them through a friend who said to give them a listen. I can say they are really good. And for a 51 year old who still loves a good hard band they surely pass the test.
We are broken because we've been separated from God because of sin, Jesus is the answer atoning our sin on the cross that brings us back to God thru the Holy Spirit. You've always been loved.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
I am a parent, one who shares a lot with my kids. my daughter got me into Red and I fell in love with them. I believe that a child should be able to express themselves any way as long as they aren't hurting anyone. my daughter listens to Red, colors her hair, at one time was also into weird clothes. None of that defined her then or now. It's music, not a "spell". Enjoy it, express yourselves cause you only get one life. Make it your own!
This song meant a lot to me when my disability was at it's worst. Inpatient 9x in 6 years. My little boy asking me what is it called when someone goes to sleep but doesn't wake up. The words & intensity of this song matched my pleas for God to heal me and let me live! My life-saving surgery was 10 years ago. And last year I got doc's okay to return to work. With utmost trust & gratefulness... Thank you God for letting me breathe again!
This song might be over 11 years old but it never gets old listening to it. RED is the one of the best most realist Christian rock bands out there! God breathe your life into me I need you every hour every minute every second ❤️❤️

Saw them at Winter Jam 2020 they absolutely killed it freaking amazing show I wish they got a longer set but they still did freaking amazing I would love to see them play again
Been like 15 years or so when I first listened to this at my weekly Youthful Get together. That was such an amazing time in my life where all the teens would hang out, play video games, pool, and ki kick it before the Youth Pastor would take us across the street for a service. So proud that man showed me Red
Very powerful sound and Video, I’m an old school Christian rocker from the late 70’s to early 90’s . Recently I’ve gotten into skillet, Red, pillar, thousand foot crutch, to name a few. When I sang Christian rock it was way more evangelical, but as I have grown older I’ve learned ones heart is way more important than what we see on the outside. Draw close to Jesus and he will always be with you.
The screaming parts literally remind me of being blind without Jesus and just doing insane things to fill the void in my soul with sex, drugs, people, etc. just things of this world, total chaos, total torture and pain until Jesus. Then that chorus hits, beautiful, he truly breathed fresh air full of life into my spirit. Thankyou Jesus. This song is tight lol
WHAT ABOUT TEARS FROM YOUR SINS THAT JESUS WOULD FORGIVE YOU AND YOU WOULDN'T LIVE IN YOUR SIN ANYMORE??? WHAT ABOUT LOVING JESUS HOW CAN YOU LISTEN TO THIS DEVIL MUSIC?
When I was atheist this music didn't really mean much to me. I thought it was a dude singing about how he felt bad when he wasn't around his girlfriend. As a christian, this song takes on a whole new meaning.
It has equal meaning either way. Just because someone isn't a Christian doesn't mean that they are incapable of deriving the same amount or more meaning than a Christian from this song.
I remember watching this on a DVD u got that had a bunch of Christian bands on it and I was 13 years old. Little did I know that I would be a metal head later on. Wow time flies

If you actually listen to the whole thing, or actually just listen to his voice (omg shocking!!) you can hear the emotion and everything.
His singing is great. *sigh*
+Moves Like Jaeger I completely agree.
It's because people are full of Drake, Meek Mill, Adele, and all those other people (not saying they're bad)
And not to offend listeners of what you listed, but Red's music has very deep meaning. As you may know, many of their songs tell of their journey through religion (whether it's a struggle or whatnot). And for some people, religion is a huge and crucial part of their lives. So the emotion that Moves Like Jaeger was talking about has deep, meaningful roots.
idk i just saw them in concert they are awesome
+Damon Bottorff I missed them, I was buying the merchandise, however when I walked in and they were still playing there was like sparks and fire and I was like O_O
I just discovered this song about a month ago or so and now I gotta explore the whole band because this song is too good. Always on repeat
Red is dope. Look into them.
@@adriandtownsend4989 I def Will, when the hell did they come out and where are they from
Just been missing out for about 18 years… no pressure.
@@J.00a I’m barely 18 so lol
@@mikayahodge8712 I know its been forever, but how did it go??
Song never gets old. Good memories of seeing them in concert, and then they play this for us old fans.
This is how I feel right now. This songs is different when you're experiencing it
This has always been one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard in all my 64 years.
Saw these guys live at a small local venue years ago, had no idea they were a Christian band at the time. Amazing live tbh.
A message to the future generations. Don't let this song die.
I first found RED on a bad boys franchise music video/tribute about 3 or 4 yrs. ago, and I've been listening to them EVER. SINCE.
I'm a bit late to the party with Red. But I found them through a friend who said to give them a listen. I can say they are really good. And for a 51 year old who still loves a good hard band they surely pass the test.
I'm 58, Brother. I first heard this some years ago, bought the CD. I like it turnt up loud!!!
A good hard what?
We are broken because we've been separated from God because of sin,
Jesus is the answer atoning our sin on the cross that brings us back to
God thru the Holy Spirit. You've always been loved.
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
I am a parent, one who shares a lot with my kids. my daughter got me into Red and I fell in love with them. I believe that a child should be able to express themselves any way as long as they aren't hurting anyone. my daughter listens to Red, colors her hair, at one time was also into weird clothes. None of that defined her then or now. It's music, not a "spell". Enjoy it, express yourselves cause you only get one life. Make it your own!
Love these guys been listening to christian music for years such as Petra, Stryper, Bloodgood and Guardian
Breathe your life into me Lord
Yes and Amen
This song meant a lot to me when my disability was at it's worst. Inpatient 9x in 6 years. My little boy asking me what is it called when someone goes to sleep but doesn't wake up. The words & intensity of this song matched my pleas for God to heal me and let me live! My life-saving surgery was 10 years ago. And last year I got doc's okay to return to work. With utmost trust & gratefulness... Thank you God for letting me breathe again!
For a 25-year-old like me who likes music, this music is an excellent one. It's never too late to listen to this music.
This song still slaps. Especially the verses
This song might be over 11 years old but it never gets old listening to it. RED is the one of the best most realist Christian rock bands out there! God breathe your life into me I need you every hour every minute every second ❤️❤️
12 million in 11 years? IS THAT IT?!?!? Come ON this is straight up FIRE 🔥💯🚀🤯 Deserves 120 million
Twelve years later it still puts me in shivers. Masterpiece.
Christ is King, amazing song forever and always, great message.
has anyone seen these guys live? I've been to a lot of concerts everyone from rage against the machines to a7f to Metallica I have never seen a show with as much raw energy as these. absolutely incredible performers
Saw them at Winter Jam 2020 they absolutely killed it freaking amazing show I wish they got a longer set but they still did freaking amazing I would love to see them play again
miss being a 10 yearold Christian and enjoying these type of songs the older people played, 16 now
Been like 15 years or so when I first listened to this at my weekly Youthful Get together. That was such an amazing time in my life where all the teens would hang out, play video games, pool, and ki kick it before the Youth Pastor would take us across the street for a service.
So proud that man showed me Red
I got goosebumps, and cried
Felt the pain
This is crazy
I felt this word by word
Goosebumps 😂
Breath your life into me Jesus. Amen!
This song is tight lol
oh my tears roll down my face.....I LOVE THOSE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!
yo tambien
WHAT ABOUT TEARS FROM YOUR SINS THAT JESUS WOULD FORGIVE YOU AND YOU WOULDN'T LIVE IN YOUR SIN ANYMORE??? WHAT ABOUT LOVING JESUS HOW CAN YOU LISTEN TO THIS DEVIL MUSIC?
Glenn Christensen sound s like you need to ask God to open ur judgemental eyes. Just because it's in a rock form doesn't make it "the devils music"
these guys are amazing. found them back in 2010. love the message and relatable songs.
Wow it's been like 15 years and this song still goes hard
One of the Best concerts and bands ever! Sincerely me and my sk8r punk Van's
God created all things, for all purposes, to edify and reach us, wherever we are on the journey.
Red is a very blessed hard rock band
When I was atheist this music didn't really mean much to me. I thought it was a dude singing about how he felt bad when he wasn't around his girlfriend. As a christian, this song takes on a whole new meaning.
I'm an atheist who used to be Christian and it still has enough meaning to me. It's a good song no matter how you look at it
@@Nakia11798 I agree, for myself, I don't think it needs to have an explicitly message, as long as is good music, it's all that matters
Brandon Mather amen
It has equal meaning either way. Just because someone isn't a Christian doesn't mean that they are incapable of deriving the same amount or more meaning than a Christian from this song.
In genesis it speaks of God creating Adam from dust and breathing life into his nostrils
We Are Only Huuuuumaaaaan! God Bless These Children Of Mine!
just saw these guys at winter jam last Friday and OH MY GOODNESS I an in love with their music!!!!!!!
I saw them at Winter Jam and wow were they awesome :)
I seen them last years winter jam. :)
Jeremey Heere Deserved Better same dude
Jeremey Heere Deserved Better I saw them at Winter Jam in 2012 or 13. I loved it!!
Yeah but who tf is still here in 2021? These singles never die, timeless tunes.
I remember watching this on a DVD u got that had a bunch of Christian bands on it and I was 13 years old. Little did I know that I would be a metal head later on. Wow time flies
To Zack
Still love this band 10+ years later
My favorite Christian song!!!
Then you must not be Christian
@@systemsfailure6560 what's that supposed to mean
@@tripledoverfishing this isn't a Christian song, so if this junk is your favorite Christian song then you must not be saved.
@@systemsfailure6560 this is a Christian song stupid ass. And I Never called it my favorite song.
Systems Failure perfect satan song
I'm enjoying all the Red in this playlist...my fave band now
Still here in December 2019. I looooooove Red. Their music speaks to my soul.
Never faded red ...lobe this band
Found this song by googling christian rock bands. I feel like god direct me to this song. He knows what I like. And the ONLY ONE who knows what I've been through the ONLY ONE.
Ending gives me chills every time.
Jesus, I still need you! Please breathe into me! Don't abandon me! I will never abandon you Jesus!
Jesus would never turn you away
As a man whose favorite band is Lamb of God this is a really good refresher
