- Diecast Restoration Matchbox King size k17 Dyson low loader and no3 a D9 caterpillar, witch is not the correct one for the set ,but I liked the look of this one .
my contact details are in the about section on my channel, thanks for watching
Terrific restoration on this kit, Martin. I like the Super Kings scale models. Sourcing the treads for those dozers is always my problem. Lovely work. Carry on! 🍁☕👍
Thanks Andrew, the tracks can be difficult to find on certain castings .
Iam hoping in the future to make my own. All the best Martin
Turned out awesome. Really awesome toys. Love green on the truck. Bull dozer little details are great. Photos at end of video are super cool. 😎👍
Thanks very much iam glad you enjoyed this one, all the best Martin
Always liked the Ford D series lorry along with the Bedford TK they were everywhere when I was growing up.
Yes you are right ,but sadly thay have all but disappeared now ,glad you enjoyed it
Nice project Martin. And thanks for the tip with the rubber, I will certainly use this method at some point.
Thanks very much Jan, yes it's worth trying 😀
Really enjoyed this and the finished result is super. The dozer is fantastic and the 'Ford' logo has come out super. Surprised the cab light is red as I imagined it would be orange for some reason. Finally good to see Stan had a well earned kip from about 20 mins in but was back up and awake for the grand showing. Till the next one 😃👏
Thanks very much my friend, yes it came in the red ,but I could have done orange maybe on the other one I have .all the best Martin

Super restoration Martin I love this truck and what a great result, excellent tip with the rub…… sorry, eraser, will definitely be trying that, excellent detailing on the bulldozer too👌👍😊 Take care, all the best, Nick🐸🐸
Thanks very much nick ,it was a good restoration no real problems, with lots of potential.
All the best Martin
Looks great Martin. I drove one of those Ford D Series trucks when I worked at a scrapyard once. Truck and bulldozer both look amazing. Good tip about using an eraser to pick out details, I'll have to remember that one. 👍
Cheers Bob ,scrap yard we're fun places to hang out
Hi Martin,,great job done on the ford lowloader and dozer ,a couple of good tips as well ,five stars
Thanks very much my friend its really appreciated
Another amazing restoration Martin. Your finish is awesome.
Thanks Paul it means a lot my friend
You'd job Martin, cheers Graham
Thanks very much Graham
Excellent job mate, looks great.
Thanks very much my friend
Morning Martin l hope that d series ford has a Cummings engine in it or it won't pull the skin off a rice pudding. low loaders have come a long way since the 60s 70s on that Dyson trailer you had to knock pins out of the rear axle to remove it to get the load off if it was a road roller etc.bull dozers you throw a couple of railway sleepers down and drove it up over the side mate
Thanks for that information I didn't know that, now used to work for perkins so Cummings were are competition. 🤣
Turned out great, Martin! Love the extra detailing!
Thanks Johan it's much appreciated my friend
Lovely job Martin, good tip regarding using an eraser, similar method to tampo printing.
Thanks Kevin, yes it's a similar process worth trying
That is a really nice combo, Martin! I have one of those Caterpillars on the back of a Corgi Bedford lowloader, but as a tractor, without the blade, and it does the job nicely out of the junker box, looking a good bit less new than yours! Sensitively done, as ever, Sir!
Thanks Fraser
Lovely job Martin looks fantastic as always love the D series ford
Thanks Kevin glad you enjoyed it 👍
Hi Martin we love this as the larger matchbox range are our favourites. All the best from Ian b & family..

Excellent 👍 picked one of these up at Stafford Toy Fair for £1. I will put it on the back burner for now.
Cheers Andy 🍻
Hi there Martin a very nice job there I've got 2 of them ones and 4 of the flat trailer for Tractors the Dozer turn out very nice too . Many moon to go my cousin had one of them and turned it into a tipper using a small matchbox it look very good, great tip on doing the Lettering the front I think with your Steady hand you couldn't get as good as that . I've got to Catch up on some of your videos I'm about For behind .
Ralph.
Thanks very much Ralph, this unit does have good code 3 potential.
All the best Martin
Another amazing restoration Martin all the details just make a difference
Thanks very much Dean 😀
Fabulous video again thanks 😊 i remember i had that ford d series many years ago it was the earlier model. The later version came with the taylor woodrow stickers 😊

Hi Tony, thanks very much my friend
Excellent results, Martin. I was looking for the correct dozer for mine. But I do have the same dozer as that. Maybe I'll do the same and say"Done!".
Thanks Gerry, yeah it doesn't matter on this one what you put on the back .
This is better then the second version.
What a treat! She came out lovely 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
Cheers 🍻 my friend glad you enjoyed it 😀
That's come out great, never think to look for old matchbox super King's as didn't have many growing up as it was mostly corgi and dinky but looks fun to do,maybe polythene from a takeaway box instead of styrene might work for suspension.
Thanks John, yes some of the matchbox king size vehicles are really nice to do .Good idea about the take away box's, all the best Martin
Stunning Martin really good job there well done mate 👍
Thanks very much luke much appreciated my friend
Been waiting for you to do something like this. The load, though,is wrong, should be the Case bulldozer.Mind you,I have 5,all with different loads.!
Thanks Terry, I do have the original load ,but I didn't like it ,🤣 all the best Martin
@@martindaredare OK,Martin, I get the picture.Of my 5,only 1has the Case 'dozer!

Cheers Michael 🍻
Awesome and nicely detailed:)
Thanks very much Pete it's really appreciated
@@martindaredare you give a lot of good advice in our diecast hobby.
And a pleasure to watch the end result.
Hi mate wonderful job as usual. I wonder why they never put a back window in the cab it would be good for keeping an eye on the load. That higher back end reminded me of my MG I bought some new leaf springs for the back because after 60 odd years it had a lean on the drivers side of the car. Only problem was the car then was too high at the back it looked like someone had liked it up the #%$. They took my old ones for part exchange and by the time I had fitted the new ones they had sent them to Sydney so couldn't put the old ones back on. So I ended up putting two inch lowering blocks on the rear and that fixed the problem. If the springs ever sag I can just take the lowering block off again. The colours really pop now and the extra detail looks great brings it to life. I think I'm getting old and loosing it a bit I had a gig in the duo last week got half way there and realised I had forgotten to hitch the trailer with the PA in it on the car a bit of a senior moment.🤣🤣👴🏻 Catch you on the next one mate If I can remember where I left my laptop.😂😂🤣🤣👍🏻
Hi Geoff, I can imagine the choice words ,when you realised the trailer wasn't there. ,yes a rear window would look better. All the best Martin
Nice low loader outfit the big bucket suits it well, if you don't have anyone have anyone to design \ print your decals let me know I've made the odd one or two
Thanks very much Neil, glad you enjoyed this one. .and thanks for the offer I have something in mind you could help with a bit later
@@martindaredare when your ready 👍🏻
grand job
Thanks very much my friend
love the colour combo. :) I didn't know that piece in the back of the trailer is actually a suspension piece until now! have to check mine lowloader if it's complete. but I think it's missing on most nowadays.
wheeled bagger, caterpillar, what's the difference as long as they fit. :)
Cheers Lothar, the second version has different wheels and suspension, it doesn't look as good I must admit. All the best Martin
