Referred your channel to a friend of mine who I've been teaching to get some extra learning resources in. Wonderful work! I ended up showing them an application of this method to create some interesting "generative" stuff. Looking forward to going through the rest of your videos! :)
Moi! I am new to your channel and love the idea for this video. I had been looking for more tutorials on the patcher because I think it opens up endless ways to create in FL Studio. However, I have to admit .. I had a hard time following your explanation. It might be because I have close to zero experience with patcher and I just have to get more familiar with some of the concepts you used. Awesome video though! It is inspiring and I am going to check out your other videos too.
Hei! My tutorial content might be geared more towards the intermediate and advanced patcher users, but I have 1 introduction video for Patcher (look at my playlists, there's a patcher tutorial one and that's the first video), it's very brief and tries to guide people to the right resources to get started. Formula Controller is also essential to get familiar with, and I'm actually currently working on a video about that. It'll go over the entire list of functions from the Formula Ctrl manual, and I'm trying to make it more beginner friendly. There seems to be a good selection of the beginner level stuff for both Patcher and Formula Ctrl here on UA-cam so maybe look into those and you can always come back to my videos later :)
Do you know how to make a patcher plugin that has built in presets? i want to make one strictly for fl studio i have lot of presets and i want to scan through them fast and organized
I didn't understood about the inverting part at the end, why did you connected the output of formula controller to the lfo speed , it will change the lfo speed , so how can i invert the lfo space ??
It was just a general tip for Peak Controller, because it's speed parameter is inverted by default, so turning it down actually makes it faster. So the Formula Controller thing is just one way of flipping the speed parameter the 'right way'.
i need patcher because this is a patcher channel and the purpose of it is to showcase different types of techniques you can do in it. It should be obvious that the same thing can be achieved multiple different ways. I'm sorry you find it too complicated :D
@@nanospiraI fair enough, but i think most people klicked on this video, because they want to make custom lfo shapes, so it would have been sensible to at least include the easiest method.
@@nanospiraI sorry i think i kind of misread what you meant. but holding a note is still pretty easy, just put a midi controll center before it that outputs the note.
Please get more viewers, you are basically the only good Patcher tutor on the internet
Thanks! The numbers are increasing slowly but steadily :D

This is awesome! Thanks for the tutorial.
One more great video :)
p.s. Waiting for your upcoming album!!
Thanks! We'll see about a full album 😅 but there will be a release
@@nanospiraI I am sure that will be something cool anyway :)
This would be a great tool for LFO risers. Very smart setup.
Dope channel! The best patcher channel (the only useful one really) on yt. Can this be used to make a compressor from scratch??
Thank you for the info!! I know you've already done some videos on fruity formula controller, but I'd love to see more of those!
I'm currently working on one :) done next month I'd say
Damn I Love these tutorials

@@nanospiraI Thank you for the tips on where to start. I'm looking forward to diving deeper into this topic.
Cool 🙏🏾

you made it way to complicated, you dont even need patcher. just use fruity envelope controller and you can draw in any shape you want.

@@donit. The Envelope Controller doesn't generate continuous lfo data without inputting notes anyway so they're not even entirely comparable.
@@nanospiraI it does. simply click on the box that says "envelope" and from the dropdown menu choose "lfo" instead.
