Vlogging a Business Trip to Clearwater, Florida

I'm always looking for ways to improve my vlogging skill set so I used a business trip to Florida to test out some new equipment (including a new backpack to hold everything).

Really high quality and extremely comfortable (walking through the airport, airport shuttles, etc.). I thought it was on the expensive side but I love it (it's an investment!). Highly recommend.

The conference was really good and so was the stay (and the view!).
Learned several valuable lessons: always check I'm in focus, always use a mic muff on a beach (the thing that covers a shot gun microphone) and pay attention to the sound levels between different media. I also realized I use some words (and ummm) waaay too often (although I do try and edit those out). I should also probably put the camera on a tripod more often when I'm talking to it. All in all, I was happy with the final edit.
Vlogging tip. Get a drone. It's amazing. I do need to work on my video skills when it comes to the drone (in terms of exposure, etc.). I was experimenting mid-flight (which explains the wild difference in tones/brightness in the various shots).

I recently bought the ULANZI Creative ZV-1 Wide Angle/Macro Lens (amzn.to/3jqW5Pg) to put on the Sony ZV-1 but haven't got around to it yet. I watched loads of UA-cam videos raving about this new lens (which mounts directly to the camera) so I'm excited to try it out.
