Very good video. I had an A1 for about 5 years from new and its been one of the most practical cars I've ever owned. My only gripe with it was fuel consumption. Mine had those rear lights which are much better than the face lift ones currently out.
Had this exact model for a few years now. Driving experience is great, and I'm getting roughly 35-40mpg. Downside is room in the back is terrible and passengers will block your rear view completely but it's an A1 for a reason. Also getting parts can be pretty expensive

I'm about to get a RS style grill for mine + wrapping parts + wheel referb in silver or black! I have the 185 bhp 1.4, it's mental for how little the car is but 40-42mpg long run and 25 town One big problem I have is the super sport seats that destroy all rear leg room... love mine!
Well, am joining the A1 ownership with a 1.4 TFSI Sport (second hand ) low miles. with 125 bhp but no Black accent roof (very very hard to find). May mod it later as it has 16" alloys but will see how it goes. Rock on.

Good choice. What year as the older 1.0TFSI's arent as refined as the 1.2. Btw; you need good enough credit (paying for your own phone bill for example) to finance and also be 18 years old to be eligable or have a guarantor.

Me 😂. I’m 18 and earn £800-900 a month, the only expenses I pay for is £100 rent and £22 phone bill. That leaves me with about £680 left over (minimum) the car and insurance costs about £400 a month all together (as I am getting it on finance) and then fuel around £150. Leaves me with £130-200 left a month. And I have that security of being able to get more hours of work if I wanted too.
It's rubbish. A fiesta is about 1/2 the price and is brilliant to drive. And vastly cheaper to service. My grandma drives an A1 because she thinks it is safe and posh😁

Insurance isn't too bad as it's only a 1.4L. My advice is to get some quotes and see what it's like

Take it down to Rebellion Automotive for their tuning kit! I got their kit on my 1.4L A3 and it's gone from 125BHP to around 165BHP :O

yeah, a tune makes a huge difference. tuned my 1.2 tfsi from 86 to 130hp with just software and it really goes like stink now haha

Scott GS however the exhausts are similar just louder due to the bigger engine and the fact you get more on the s line

I bought and paid for my 2014 Corsa SRI 1.4t when i was 18 also! The difference is massive between Vauxhall and Audi though.
