Why don't people watch the waves for a while before they just jump in. Every child who swims in the ocean should be taught to read the sand a low tide before they can swim.! Maybe it's good I never became a mom. You don't have to scare the kids, you have to prepare the kids. Damn
Its those freak waves people need to worry about. The ones that come up really high and wash away towels, coolers, etc. but you are correct, people wading in the surf when a freak wave comes and incidents like this one happens. 😞

I know the guy who Owns the dogs who visit me. I wonder If I could offer to walk them if he doesn't feel up to it. The least I could do is give him my phone number. I don't need a leash with either of them and we'd stay in the park. They look a little like Doberman Golden poodle mixes they're odd but cute looking. And the listen when I use my serious voice. Except when I say go home now boys. They both turn their heads like they know I want something but they just can't understand. They are playing with me. So one more hug and loving on each then I say I'm leaving you guys should GO HOME. Whatever you do I'm going in and no you don't live here. Go home NOW. I DON'T YELL THE WORD NOW BUT I EMPHASIZE IT WITH MY HAND POINTING IN THEIR DIRECTION TO GO HOME. THEY KNOW THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO. Sorry about the caps . I don't remember their names, I just yell, " My boys outside here today?" I can hear their squeaks and yowls as they run to me. They have knocked me over. The like that! The better to kiss you Auntie! Instead of giving my old blankets and pillows to the people homeless shelter I give to the animal shelter with bags🎉 of food if I can afford it. I also go to the riding stables with bunches of carrots and apples. Then ask the owners if they're outside in winter with their coats on mat I still feed them or is there anything you prefer I give them . Before I go they each get 3 sugar cubes. That means goodbye. Some horses get pissy then I demand I kiss for that forth cube. Their whiskers tickle😂. Maybe I really do want a pony. I wonder what the weight limit for a pony is. Do you remember me saying I was gaining weight a while ago. Went to the Doc and I've lost 20 plus pounds in 2 months. I've upped the fasting from one to two days a week 2:21 and I've felt even better. I drink water all day and I feel great. I've been thinking about calling a friend who works at the haciendas hotel in Cancun and getting their recipe for ceviche . I know it's got cumin, coriander seeds and I think garlic. Well in my mind everything taste better with garlic. Ed won't eat it he thinks it's disgusting. I know what's disgusting and it's not my ceviche😂
It's just the covering roof to the entrance of a restaurant theater or special building, usually where the car drops you off. I was surprised Andy didn't know, unless he was testing us.
Never turn your back on on the ocean. This beach reminds me of Monastery Beach in Carmel CA which also has a dangerous shore break.

theres no watching for waves on north shore. you are either competent enough or don't belong in the water AT ALL during winter season

I grew up 15-20 minutes away in Laie and only now learning the name of this beach 😅

The ocean in Hawaii is unpredictable and so very dangerous.everyone coming to Hawaii has to know this .
We know that but need a sign with visual graphic warning, "Do Not Walk on Wet Sand -- High Danger!"
