Mutant mayhem was probably the only time where you really got a good sense of isolation and emphasized with the whole acceptance aspect that wasnt really touched on before in the other version's
This movie is amazing, really captures the turtles and loved that they took things from other turtles projects, this is definitely my second favorite tmnt movie just the 90s original movie will forever be the best in my eyes

The shrike is dumb everything about it is dumb you could just give me a reason why it's not but regardless if you do I'm not reading all of it i don't have much time
I was 8 when the Michael Bay movies came out. And I was 6 when 2012 came out and 2012 was when I got introduced to ninja turtles. I still like 2012 better but mutant mayhem was better than Michael bay I will give them that. But not better than the 2012 series.
It's like he just stormed into the writers' room one day and told them to make everything as crass and immature as Transformers but with action that isn't anywhere near as cool.
I love their designs. Every other version of them looks like they're in their late twenties while being adolescents. These versions remind people they are part turtle, not elephant. They are imperfect and I love them for that. My only problem is that some of their heads look squished
@LoboStudiosOfficialNot really, The writers had to condense everything down to five episodes for Rise of the tmnt cause the network canceled it. in terms of the main plot we’re done. the showrunners wanted 3 seasons so they made their 5 final episodes for the series and then they condensed season 3’s main plot into a movie. So there’s really nothing worth revisiting again, especially cause the turtles are at the end of their arc, they’re done, finished. and also a season 3 would just make the movie worse, it wrapped everything up in a nice little bow. it’s supposed to be the big finale of the series
Probably never, to be honest. It was such a great show too. If it truly is the end, at least it ended with an amazing movie. But with a new show coming to paramount plus, I think Rise is pretty much done.
I still think I like the original 1990 film better than Mutant Mayhem. It might just be nostalgia talking, but I love the characters, the costumes, the silly 90s lingo, and especially the realistic martial arts action. Not to mention that I've always enjoyed the whole Hamoto Yoshi vs Oroku Saki conflict (even if it is posthumously on Yoshi's part in the film), and I like how the film can switch between lighthearted and serious without feeling forced or generating too much mood whiplash. That movie is what introduced me to the franchise, it was a staple of my childhood, and it will always have a special place in my heart. That being said, Mutant Mayhem is a close second. The art style is unique and charming, without being jarring (*cough* Rise *cough*). The turtles look, sound and feel like actual teenagers (usually they more closely resemble young adults). While I do kind of miss Shredder, and I'm a little disappointed that the Splinter/Yoshi connection was removed, I also genuinely love the other mutants. Superfly is a great villain, and his siblings are all great (especially Mondo, I love Mondo). Not to mention that MM April is AMAZING. Like, I love 90's April, she's awesome, but MM April is so endearing and awkward and her dynamic with the turtles is great. 90's April is the turtle's cool aunt, which is fine, but MM April is part of the squad, which is better.
I like when movies with huge ips like this are starting to hold off on the actual big nemesis. This feels like batman begins and it's "dark knight" sequel is gonna slap so hard
I want shredder to just be a short but absolutely shredded Japanese doomslayer but with the samurai armor. I also want him to call them Kappa and only Donnie knows what he’s talking about
@@Dookieman1975from the looks of it, he'll be normal sized. I also hope they make him an Utrom again and make his characterization a lot closer to Ch'rell than something like the 2012 version. No tragedy in his backstory whatsoever, just pure and unapologetic evil.

The Michael bay ones I thought were fun as a kid but always thought they were just ok. Just mid. You see it when you’re really bored or on a plane. I do think the second one is a lil better but could’ve been good if it weren’t for shredder or Karai being pretty lame and underutilized in the end. And Krang losing pretty quickly with a doomsday weapon when I wanted to see more of it. Also I’m glad they finally mostly dropped the 80s slang. Just use the slang used for the time it feels less weird. As well as Donnie being the modern nerd instead of just a tech nerd. And the surprisingly deep message still fitting our time, being digestible for modern audiences, and being good wasn’t something I was expecting from a tmnt movie. Yeah I didn't like it either. Not awful objectively, but definitely not for me.
Same. The third act was a mess and I didn't really care for the ending.
THIS MOVIE WAS GROSS. GOOD BUT GROSS AND KINDA RACIST.
How was it racist?
