Would you be able to take a video of PTO running. looking from back to front of the machine, on my zt2000 belt seems to be jumping a lot. This is my first zero-turn, and I don't know if this is normal or not? Thanks in advance ...
I removed the discharge baffle on the deck. Got some Ballard high rise blades and adjusted the deck level to 1/4 inch lower in the front than the back and changed the entire quality of cut. My zt2000 came at a reverse rake on the deck which is the worst for cut quality and fuel economy.
Really appreciate your videos. Looking at buying a ZT2000 or a Spart. Really like what I see from these Bobcats. After watching your video I am thinking the Bobcat is the right choice.
I appreciate that. I would still say the Bobcat is a BEAST in the deep grass and junk. Doesn't stop up or bog down. However, if you are mowing perfect sod, it is not as level of cut as a smaller deck or some of the other brands. I can't speak to which one. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe, trying to get to 1,000.
Key to any outdoor equipment is have a dealer near by. Dealer support is key to anything. Also I am not sure if bobcat does this but some manufacturers do where you won’t be able to buy sag mower parts at their construction equipment dealer. It would have to be a mower dealer. Stupid so check that out before buying. Good luck and happy mowing.
Hey Man, I just bought a ZT2000 and wondering if you can tell me how to drain my gas in this ZT2000 so I don’t have to take it to the shop for them to drain it. Only have 4.9 hours on it. Appreciate ya telling us about the fans keeping them clean.
Same issue with the fuel gauge here. It’s a stuck float no big deal. Far as the fans on the drive motors blow them off every time you mow, that’s the life of your motors.
Hey bud thanks for the video I'm really considering buying AZT 2000 48 in this week and I was wondering how you still like your Bobcat lawn mower and what are the pros and cons about it I've never owned a bobcat before I've always had Scag lawn mowers but there's a $500 rebate right now
I still love it for what I do and that is cut my yard as quick as possible and cut grass at the farm as quick as possible. The best part is the beast mode of cutting deep, deep material quickly. Look at my most recent video about it where I'm cutting 2' deep stuff. The negative though is I do not like the quality of cut on perfect sod. I worked at a golf course all through HS & college and I am a grass snob. If I were cutting other people's perfect sod I would look at a Toro or something else. It just doesn't offer a perfect cut on thick zoysia and Bermuda sod. It looks unlevel for some reason. It does fine at higher levels, but when I try to mow perfect sod down to like 2" it looks unlevel. 3" is fine.
Well thank you for answering back I appreciate the feedback and I do landscaping for a living so I have to have my yard looking like a clean-cut so looks I'm going to have to pass on the mower and continue to use Scag thank you have a blessed day
Yeah I do. I can’t find it. I think it may be the clutch pin and clutch banging around. I asked the dealer and they said there’s no fix for the rattle 😂
The "rattling" you're hearing could be the bracing on the deck, its a little bit loose. If you pull up on the foot rest cover, you'll see a "X Brace" directly underneath it. I just tightened it a little more and sprayed some silicone lubricant on the bolts.. fixed.
Ive been lookin around for a small zero turn mower so far im sold on john deere z320 and bad boy rambler... sorry but 5,000 for a 42 inch is kinda steep for me john deere and bad boy way cheaper nice video though
this is my first Zero Turn so I don's have a comparison. I have been pleased overall. Only beef is quality of cut on nice thick sod when trying to cut it less than 3". Thanks for watching and the comments!

It will be hard to get a camera in there safely moutned, but I will try.
@KingsOutdoorLife this is what my bobcat zt2000 is doing. ua-cam.com/users/shorts8j-IOQ6SvDI?si=Li8xCQunCczl1q5A
Where is the brake release on the mower
if you are sitting in the seat - beside your right leg. Pull it up to engage, push it down to release

That’s a great suggestion. I need to try that. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I added high lift blades and turned the mower on and was worried I messed something up. The noise was so much louder. Is that normal?

Big selling point right now is $90 a month and zero down.
Or, $500 cash payment rebate
Are you serious 90 bucks a month? I’m going to the dealer right now.
What about parts availability? are there a lot of third party vendors that make parts for it?
I haven't had to find anything yet, so I am not sure. Thanks for watching!

@@donaldducko6580 I have 3 dealers 45-1hr in all directions so getting parts is not bad. Thankfully I Haven't needed any so far. Thanks for watching.

can they handle the rough stuff holes rutts etc
Yes, as much as you can take. Not an air ride seat so its up to your bounce tolerance. Thanks for watching!
Very satisfying watching mowing to the music😎
Zero turn mowing in a big open field is very rewarding! Thanks!😀
If you're that easily satisfied you might as well get a Murray or something.

Yeah I’ll take it for repair this winter
Or put a piece of expanded metal wherever the grass is getting in
@@billbonu1639 won’t work.

How do you think cutting at about 3-1/2” in a residential yard would look?
Everything I have done above 2" looks fine. I cut my Zoysia at 2.25" and it looks great. Thanks for watching!
How have you used it a year and only put 41 hours on it?
It’s so fast you don’t rack up the hours!😂
I’m only mowing a couple yards so it’s not commercial use.
You hear any rattling while mowing?
No I do not. Do you?
Yeah I do. I can’t find it. I think it may be the clutch pin and clutch banging around. I asked the dealer and they said there’s no fix for the rattle 😂
@@seanb6756 Geez! I believe I'd try a new dealer

@@KingsOutdoorLife yup, luckily there’s another near by. Gotta try em out.
how long does it take to cut 2acres.?
Between 30 & 45 minutes
My fuel gauge was out before 20 hours also
👍👊 Cool beans! Nice Job pal!🇺🇸🚜🍺
Thanks bud, finally sat down long enough to edit.
The gas gauge is known problem Contact your dealer, should be a warranty repair. The new gas gauge doesn't "stick" anymore!
Yes that is what I am realizing. I need to take the time to do it.

Thanks for watching. I understand. They have gone up a lot since I bought mine.
Why don't you just put some type of cap or even duct tape over the top of those fans so they won't collect grass?
I can try it, I'd just be afraid it would do more harm than good
Had the 48" ZT-2000 for 8 months. I think my Gravely 48" ZT-Xl is a better machine, cheaper to.

Fyi - I cut at 3" or 2" 3/4 fine. Someone else mentioned before that lowering the front part of the deck 1/4" gave him a better cut.
