They can be, but you'll need to know their temperament, so don't buy as puppies. Look for adult rescues, we had a beautiful 14-year old foster failure (i.e. we adopted him) in 2021 who was a Jack Russel, low-energy, super sweet and gentle, loved his massages and his new family. I have severe chronic abdominal pain and the pain keeps me up at night, so I sleep during the day. So, he'd wait, with his bum to my door, sniffing under it (as if to say "What's going on in there! Let me in! I'm being super polite!") My mum took photos. He was such a sweetheart, we had him for 11 months before cancer got him & we had to put him to sleep. Then we got another foster-failure in 2022, who's approx. a mix of Jack Russel and Chihuahua - he's just as sweet, though he very much loves to be babied & frustratingly, he does bark a lot (much better than he used to; it used to cause me to wake up and my pain would get much worse), though still low energy and a snuggle bum, loves burrowing down the end of the bed. But will attack dogs out of anxiety, he's on an anti-depressant.
Jack Russell’s are top little dogs but they need lots of exercise and a lot of calm discipline. They are not a great pick for a lap dog that sits around all day.
Buddy really is an adorable little fella so cute they just needed the right advice on training him,I had a morkie named buddy he was the sweetest little boy❤❤
I have had dogs all my life, but I have never had one that did not suit the lifestyle, Tosca a Jackie was brilliant with 2 adults and 4 kids because we wore him out, anyway, I won't bore you all, but now I am 65 and have Brad who is a mix but looks like a mini-lab, lost my Brok 8th April 2023 🐶🐶🙏🙏🐶🐶
i cant stop laughing at people who just keeps saying "no! no!" like come on, its not working, think maybe you should try something else? Maybe even try watching one or two videos?! :O Its like the first thing they teach you. flying hands and pretty much all they do is a no no.
I don't understand why you'd to!state it buying once, pick it up and put it out of the room. If it wants to be around her it will get the message. It amazes me how much people tolerate from dogs, they'd never tolerate it from a child. It's barmy!
Just remember, if this dog was a big breed, it would have already been euthanized as aggressive. Yet its at the perfect size to permanently scar a toddler walking down the street.
Jack Russell ate very smart, hardheaded and great loyal dogs 😊👏👍❤
I have a jack , he looks the same , he acts the same , and he is evil like him but we love him!
I have a Jack Russel cross Chihuahua she is the sweetest girl ever.
Many people don‘t inform themselves about the characteristics of the different dog breeds. A Jack Russell is not the „lap dog“ that Sarah wanted … 😅
Correct. They are natural hunters. 👍
You want a cuddly dog and choose a Jack-Russell-Terrier????
I was thinking the same. 😂
Haha that’s what I thought too🤣 impulse buy I bet you anything😆🙈
😂😂😂😂😂
Bad decision 😉🤝

LOL it's so amusing to watch Buddy having so much fun running the whole situation.

Such simple techniques and great results!

Cuddly calm dog that doesn't sound like the Jack Russell they're high endurance pretty much 🤷
Ahh but he’s not a jack russel 😭
😂😂😂😂😂 im sorry.
Does anyone know what season and episode this is? I work with Sarah now and id love to watch buddy as a young man being naughty!😂
Good results for Buddy but I do think more exercise is needed too.
hmmmmm.... we used to own 5 JRT girls 30 years ago, and we are still happily married.....

Well hello Mary Sunshine.
No it wouldn't because the dog wasn't actually aggressive. Yes it was being a pain but it wasn't an actual threat
We call them upholstered rats,or Rugrats, nipping that’s in the Jack Russel breed,do your homework before you get a pet 🙄
Yes, ratters aren't the most suitable cuddlers. LOL
As someone who knows these people, buddy isn’t a jack russel 🙂
