That was beautiful, Scott and Quinn were great with all the dogs! I have watched Scott for along time! He is a great vet and I love watching him treat all the animals that he does!

@@user-hr2gl5im4b Lots of ways. For eg. When she expressed how difficult it must have been for Mango's owners to have surrendered him. Not every young person would even consider the various perspectives of different people involved. It's a sign of emerging adulthood to be able to appreciate the nuances of life, to realize that situations can mean good people need to rehome their dogs, to recognize that people are not simply either good or bad. So that's just one example of how a young teen can be wise beyond their years. It wasn't my initial comment, but I definitely agree with it.
The last time I saw Quinn in a video, she was only a little girl...she's a beautiful young lady and very well-mannered...you and your wife have done a wonderful job of raising her...Mango, you're on lucky dog❤

Love a guy who shows his emotions. You are a great example of what your girls should look for when they start dating and eventually in a life partner.
As someone in a relationship with a man, who is completely out of sync with the very few emotions he has and represses any kind of deeper feelings he harbours... I couldn't agree more.
There is nothing more special and suitable for a Veterinarian doctor to adopt a shelter dog for a special daughter. She deseves it 100%. You both love and care for animals and Mango will have a great home with you guys. I think you should let your daughter add a "middle name" for him. I was also very impressed that being so young, he already knew the "sit" and "shake a hand " commands. Smart puppy.
What a surprising young lady. She seems educated well beyond her years. Her father must be very proud. That dog is very lucky to have been found by a compassionate vet.

We adopted the best dog in the whole universe from the Humane Society. He had many loving special years as he raised the kids. Why can't they live to be 100?

Mango has won the jackpot with this family ❤ We've just rescued another dog, 5 months old. He's learnt so much in the two weeks of rehoming him. We love him to bits.

God doesn't have anything to do with dogs being rescued or dogs in the first place. You should know as a believer that God shouldn't come to a believer's mind when the talk is about dogs.
Scott's crying, Quinn's crying, we're all crying. Good one Doc. We all need a special furry friend when times are tough. My old cat Moggy showed up at my house during a nasty divorce and never left my side. He was at least 25 years old when he passed I swear he was an angel in the form of a cat. I hope you have the same bond with your new furry companion. 🤗🤗🤗💕💕💕

Our previous dog was a special needs retired MWD, who was seven. This time we adopted a teen aged, who is healthy. Dexter was amazing, but this time I wanted a healthy dog. We are training this guy…and that is intense.

I'm Australian/Queenslander/Bowen mango lover/English cocker spaniel lover and follow all Dr Scott's videos from Guatemala during my ''down time''. I'm an international volunteer at the premier centre of rescue/rehab/wildlife return for illegally trafficked wildlife based in the nth of Guatemala with an organisation called ARCAS. ARCAS is under the auspices of deeply devoted compassionate veterinarians as well. In coming to Guatemala I had to live without dogs which I miss so much in devoting my life now to wildlife protection/conservation. I didn't leave Australia until my last 2 dogs from a pack family of 4 ( all rescues) had passed. Quinn....beautiful girl. So wonderful she is growing up with animal loving parents. I did too. I cried a lot in this video. That little darling Mango is going to have a wonderful life too. Thank you Dr Scott for sharing your love/heart/soul for the greater good for animals with us all.

The best most constructive thing I ever did for my daughter, who INSISTED she couldn't obtain a job, age 16, was I required that she volunteered at the local SPCA with me!!!! So she got exposed to all the dirty REALITY work!! UNPAID! On the weekends!
She obtained a paying job pretty quickly after that!!!
Dr Scott and Quinn made me cry. I love Dr Scott. It takes special people to work with animals. My daughter is a Veterinary Technician. It truly is her calling. Thank you for sharing Dr Scott & Quinn!

I have a blonde American Cocker Spaniel that is now 15 years old - she came to me at 9 weeks and she is my world - I feel blessed every day that she's still in my life.
