Why would they need a nuke plant anyway? Solar panels work just as well and with some batteries, they have enough power for every moon cycle. On a side note if the Earth in this video is that close to the moon we will all die. Grab a basketball and a tennis ball and place them 29 meters (95 feet) from each other to be kinda accurate in actual distance from one another.

@@chi-jenyang9752 it is now. However, the Nuclear Power plant was designed and built by the Soviet Union. I believe during the time of the designing as well as building, Chernobyl was an area owned by the Soviet Union.
China have a few hundred nuclear plants, they even export it, and the safety records have been perfect, as usual, jealousy is killing you.
@@andrewlim7751 why would any country need a nuclear power plant on the moon? What would be the purpose of colonizing it? What resources, from earth, will they be taking with them? I don’t want ANY country putting a nuclear power plant on the moon. Solar panels and battery cells enough to last the two weeks of no sun. Thats what I’d say. I think we need to focus more on interstellar travel and direct our resources into figuring out how to get to Alpha Centauri B. The closest earth-like planet at 4.2 Light Years away.
Water can be mined, stored and recycled on the moon.
Crazy plan.. crazy project.. crazy idea
I have already designed and submitted a proposal to NASA for a non nuclear power source. It will not work during the lunar night but will be much more effective than solar and can continue working for a while after the sunset. Furthermore it can be mated to a thorium MSR heat source to work forever, without the need for water.
india's super spicy super hygienic streetfoods could be a good source of clean green power on the moon...
Go Russia 🇷🇺
Luna nights are very long, so solar panels won't be enough. Even at equator the night is almost 14 Terra's days long.
Can the rotation of the moon be made around 24 hours
Echoes of freedom resound, creating a symphony that drowns out the cacophony of war.
fusion reaction, not fission no?
What about the lunar space to cool the reactors for 14 hrs a day you say.
Use diesel!
LOOOOL :)
Crazy people can't even fix the damaged created and now going to extend it!
This is not how a "reactor on the moon" would look like. 🤔 Look for the early design of the Discovery from "2001 A Space Odyssey" for a feasible concept.
The vacuum of space is -270 degrees c....surely that is sufficient?
But at day time it's too hot
@@vikrantchauhan7355 Good point!
where is consumer? 📡
Expand a new land country on the moon.
please atleast spare the moon . dont pollute it
Could it be a Helium 3 reactor
NO
What is the use for a nuclear plant on the moon of all places?
To power the HE3 mining industry
@@silentvoiceinthedark5665 "HE3 mining industry" And you believe that?
Probably for further space travel. It makes sense to be honest. Rockets are just too expensive
Solar energy is never sufficient
Yes we need defensive position in the moon for mankind. They know something is coming
🤯🤯
I appreciate your knowledge
Can wait go to moon vacation.
We gonna need Goku to save our planet
new breakthroughs in fission are getting closer and closer to getting more out than they put in. "we" may be closer than "we" think and on some levels that "we" may not be aware of and or understand... "we" may already be there and or lightyears beyond!
Peace and LOVE for ONE and ALL

They will prepare graveyards for themselves
Exactly my brother
Not for them alone but for the whole world 🌍🌍 🌍
A new set of space race is amongst space exploring nations is very amazing. To break the ceiling glass of possibilities to reach the highest level of endeavor and fervor of space domain.
Can't wait for my lunar vacation 😂
Why would they need a nuke plant anyway?
Solar panels work just as well and with some batteries, they have enough power for every moon cycle.
On a side note if the Earth in this video is that close to the moon we will all die.
Grab a basketball and a tennis ball and place them 29 meters (95 feet) from each other to be kinda accurate in actual distance from one another.
How to cool nuclear reactor on the Moon? It's cold AF on the moon.
All humans need to work together to innovate and open up more frontiers. Instead of draining energy in dissing, which will lead to slow progress for humanity.
Why u worry... Ok ok america was first 😂😂😂😂😂
US space Mars all moon. hope
India/Palki Furious they're left out of the Club AGAIN 🤠
Club what club we never joined any club we are powerful enough to make our own club 😂... If u have amnesia we are the only one who did a stable landing on the moon
No need to be furious. We already know, that in mere future Russia would be inclined towards China. That's obvious.
Rest, I don't need to tell you about.
If you or your country don't have ambitions then at least let others achieve their own.
Please can Africa be part
😊👏🏼👏🏼
In 2035 most of these leaders want be alive at all.
India jealous 🤣🤣🤣
Where are you from?
Why are you vomiting 🤮 venom always?
You're not Russian and Chinese...then why are vomiting 🤮 venom here
It seems like it would be smart to start with solar panels & as many "power banks" as possible, start stocking up juice now for when they get to the hard labor of building the actual plant.
of course nasa already has nuclear power on mars in the form of two nuclear powered rovers
technicaly yes but no. They run on plutonium battery. Not enough power to supply base. But here is they plan a reactor
@@jettrd_utilitychnl4230 Sure a couple nuclear powered by plutonium 238 decay generating ~6 kilowatts of thermoelectric nuclear per day probably won't cut it. Might be able to keep one or two people alive though for when the solar panels flake out or batteries runn low lol I'm sure starship with it's 100 ton payload to the moon could easy send a hefty modified nuclear sub fissile reactor at some point though if program works out according to expectation.

That makes no sense….wheres the green plan
It’s pretty cold in the dark on the moon sweetie.
How the don't have water to cold down the radiator right 😂
Gas is the only way.
Russia atm cant even land on the moon with crashing 😂
India also send helicopter this year in mars through a space rocket..
Lmfaooooo okayyyyyyy
But in space there's no governments and oil industry.
Why still afraid of using Tesla Energy?
A nuke disaster would be unimaginable on a place without atmosphere.
But i have never know about any space tech useful in reallife application, I wonder what would they do in the monn
Mining.
The Moon is not only perfect for rare elements like Helium 3, potentially used in nuclear fusion reactors but it is also a perfect spot to launch rockets. It is much easier to escape the gravitational pull of the Moon than Earth.
Russian girls Video
This is not energy they are seeking, it's actually entrapment of the world with the new sci-fi weapon,🤔
It is not "dangerous" and you are talking about the wrong fuel! Not Uranium, but Thorium and Plutonium!
Well-done Russian. Only for you its a space race.
UsA could if it were not so corrupted.
Good !!! Russians are best players .last week I won 6:0 😊
Dont make destroying things in our Moon
10 years their bones cant take that
Who will monitor it 😢
The USA 😂
Russia and China know how much water is on the moon . Why tell huh !
