E.T. revealed to me his singular purpose He said, "You are The Chosen One The One who will deliver the message A message of hope for those who choose to hear it And a warning for those who do not"
Just, wow! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me; I look forward to seeing what else you create with those spheres! I would love to watch a live stream.
That's genius. From Star Trek last week to this. Cool idea to use the Cake Pop moulds for the globes - you get flashing with the cake too. But you can eat that..... Look forward to next week.
That's so cool Jim I would have never thought of doing anything like you come up with. I love about every thing I've ever seen you do and I can't wait for the next idea you come up with. Love watching
Take consolation ...... Every day is a school day - and your "learning experiences" mean that you are then a teacher to others I really, really like it too.
There's a starman waiting in the sky, he'd like to come and met us, but he thinks he'll blow our mind.( Credit to the late great Mr Bowie ).Jim that's a wonderful hollow form, indeed it's mind blowing📡📡 Thanks for showing the snow ❄❄⛄⛄😘😘please take care and stay safe.
I love it. This is exactly the kind of thing that resin makes possible. One thing I've had luck with is taping the silicone molds together before the pour. I love the idea of a livestream. Designer Epoxy.
I always enjoy watching your projects, and I have to compliment you on showing your mistake. There are countless UA-camrs out there, regardless of content subject, who never show any of their mistakes and accidents. This project really turned out looking VERY nice. I also wanted to add that your son could probably make a decent amount of money selling that steady rest that he built for you. I'm sure many of your subscribers, myself included, would like to have one for our lathes. I always enjoy live streams, whether it's woodworking, turning, automotive, 3D printing, etc. etc. Maybe you could give one of those steady rests away to one of your live stream viewers, and make it so the winner must be watching and respond in the live chat to win.
Designer epoxy I think that you have a creative side of you that is just amazing you think of and come up with some designs that other people just don't I think that's why I love to watch your videos so much that you never know where you're going but the process is phenomenal to watch and then when you get there it's beautiful 😍
I am always looking forward to Friday! I'm retired, so it isn't because of the weekend. This piece is beautiful and I love seeing what you come up with. Your ideas are always so insightful. Thanks again Jim for another fun watch!
A perfect example of your creativity & eye for colours, and your amazing skill & ingenuity under pressure when things don't go as planned! It turned out so awesome! Another beautiful project c/o Jim and his wizardry with Designer Epoxy
Jim, You surprise me almost every week. This piece would certainly not be out of place in the home of George and Jane Jetson. Keep your creative juices flowing. I can’t wait to see what you bring us next week.
WOW you did it again. This turned out amazing. I think that that the reason the colors came out on a angle is when you were pushing down on the mold the blue was hard enough to be pushed on a angle. This is the best part of experimenting with a new product, you end up with a unexpected outcome. Keep up the unexpected. That is the joy of life. You sir are one of the best turners on UA-cam. I look forward to making the next awesome project vicariously thru your hands as mine no longer work. Cheers from Calgary Alberta
wow man, i friggin love it. please do more space themed projects wherever possible! also i’d tune in to a livestream for sure. i think most of us would really enjoy that.
Good evening, Jim. Wow, you put a lot of thought into this piece. I like the ways you save epoxy. Rice, kitchen bags etc. Every day we learn something. Hearing you trouble shoot keeping the bag out of the epoxy is helpful if others want to try a similar project. The new faster setting Designer Epoxy will be just right in certain applications. Excellent.
When you said you were saving those cores for something else, I just knew you were going to put them together! The little spheres were a cool idea. Lots of challenges but it worked out very nicely...great piece!
Awesome, I like that you make mistakes and admit them. Thats the learning process. Just sold my latest 2 wood turnings at a Christmas market this past weekend. Sad to see them go but happy they went to someone who say the beauty and valued the work. Keep inspiring us newbies.👍
Psychedelic COOOOL! I can see that flying through space with the black center with the windows turning in the opposite direction of the orange/blue infrastructure! The short of this was turning was a great intro
Really cool idea! I love that you called it an alien ship. I love space stuff! And you're totally right, randomness is much better if you can't be perfectly symmetrical. And you're right, it really does look like a flying saucer with those resin balls all lit up! Nice. Designer Epoxy!
God gave you a hell of a talent and man you made the rite choice by doing the master piece you create out off nothing and the end result should be in a museum ❤ your work the best I ever seen
_Designer Epoxy_ is my jam! Love the project! Of course, it's made of a bunch of my favourites like the spheres & the blue/orange combo, but wow, that surprising black obsidian look that glows like swirls of smoke with the light in! Definitely you should do more of these adventurous projects! Look at how amazing they turn out! With your quick thinking and great ideas? No doubt! Plus, with that Designer Epoxy Fast-Cure (that's the new one, right?) and the UV resin in your toolkit, you're set for all sorts of great things ahead!
I will say that you never disappoint with your creations. And I'm very glad that you got into the resin side of turning. I keep learning more and more with every video of yours that I watch.(haven't missed one yet) Thanks for sharing! Designer epoxy
Despite the few issues you had, it's an absolutely stunning piece. I'd love to see more projects like that! For example some irregular more blocky bits of wood and resin between two cores. But to be honest, I like everything you do anyway! Also, a livestream may be interesting!
That hollow form was definitely different. For filling in the voids, you might want to consider just using untinted epoxy, which will give a slight contrast but won't cause any problems trying to match colors. Just a suggestion.
Love this piece! It looks to me like an Earth-like globe attached to a Mars-like globe, and the orbs in the middle remind me of Jupiter's Great Red Spot. I especially appreciate that you share the things that didn't go to plan in these videos. 👍
Designer Epoxy I get the impression that the UV epoxy and you are going to be really good friends in the near future. Plus the fast cure epoxy too of course. I do like the hollow form. It had to grow on me, but I quite like it now.
Designer Epoxy Love it, it is amazing. I am starting to get back into woodworking after a decade off. I am super focused on epoxy it seems. Absolutely love watching the guy from Canada,
Really like what you did with it Jim,great seeing fellow Turner inspired by another Turner,,,I've been a subscriber to both you and Doug's channel for quite a while, and been inspired by both,,thanks
When I saw the thumbnail I thought: oh no. What was Jim thinking?? But then I was surprised by how much I like this piece! I also couldn't help but think that Mrs. Sprague was going to bust in the video demanding her salad bowl!
Another thoroughly enjoyable project! I enjoy your process and that you create objects that please you (keep hearing "This is the coolest thing I have made!" one each new creation!!!)
Unique piece! Reminded me of phases of a moon orbiting a planet. Swirls in the black resin and the air bubbles you pointed out actually add an aspect of character to the piece. I'd guess the bubbles would refract the light differently. Enjoy watching you create your art, as well as the teachable moments you share with other woodworkers. Thank you!
My first thought is different. Not in a bad way, just different. For some, this is probably the greatest thing they have ever seen. As usual, your work is outstanding. Creating interesting content has to be difficult at times. Love your channel.
The thumbnail did not do justice to the final piece. Beautiful.
Thanks!
You NEVER make a mistake! The resin just does what it does in places you cannot see. 🙃
Oh yes it do, lol. Thanks
Love the burl and the color contrast. I could see something like this in the special effects of a SciFi movie.
Totally, thanks!
That stelar piece is out of this world.
Thank you very much
Designer epoxy. Very interesting unconventional project, adding lights inside of it really makes it pop.
Thanks for watching
You know if someone didn't see the video with you pointing out the issues they would just think it was a beautiful piece!
Yes, totally! Thanks
The light made it all come together. It's a new favorite. I hope you do another in a different set of colors.
Sure will. Thanks for watching
This is really cool. Not so much for me to be honest, but my adult kids would absolutely love it!!!
Thanks!
E.T. revealed to me his singular purpose
He said, "You are The Chosen One
The One who will deliver the message
A message of hope for those who choose to hear it
And a warning for those who do not"
I will be sure to phone home 👽👽 Thanks!
This is fantastic. You created a beautiful piece in spite of several roadblocks in the process.
Thanks for watching
My goodness, it's out of worldly beautiful.
Thank you very much!
Every piece gets cooler than the one before.
Thanks 😊
Just, wow! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me; I look forward to seeing what else you create with those spheres!
I would love to watch a live stream.
I hope to do a livestream soon. Thanks!
That is a UFO. You have a knack for mixing colors and different materials! Great piece!!
Thanks so much 😊
That's genius. From Star Trek last week to this. Cool idea to use the Cake Pop moulds for the globes - you get flashing with the cake too. But you can eat that..... Look forward to next week.
Yummm, cake, lol. Thanks for watching
That is the weirdest wood/resin piece I’ve ever seen and I LOVE it! Your imagination is amazing!!! Keep on experimenting! Thank you!
Thanks 😊
That's so cool Jim I would have never thought of doing anything like you come up with. I love about every thing I've ever seen you do and I can't wait for the next idea you come up with. Love watching
Thanks!
I appreciate when you experiment with new designs and techniques. This spaceship is a winner.
Thank you very much
I do like it, very quirky and unique!
Thank you very much!
Hey Jim, who doesn't like a spaceship! Great work. DESIGNER EPOXY
Thanks 😊
Good morning Jim. I’ve been sitting waiting for this video and now it’s arrived 🌞
Hope you enjoyed it! Thanks
When resin like that starts to harden, pour it and catch it *in motion*. I really do love your rice bag molds.
Thank you very much
Take consolation ...... Every day is a school day - and your "learning experiences" mean that you are then a teacher to others
I really, really like it too.
Thank you very much
I think each ball looks like a planet without the light on…very cool….
Designer epoxy
Thank you very much
I think you have a winner. It would also look good as a lamp shade. 😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much
There's a starman waiting in the sky, he'd like to come and met us, but he thinks he'll blow our mind.( Credit to the late great Mr Bowie ).Jim that's a wonderful hollow form, indeed it's mind blowing📡📡 Thanks for showing the snow ❄❄⛄⛄😘😘please take care and stay safe.
Thank you very much
I don't know how you come up with all these creative ideas, but the spaceship turned out so cool!
Thank you very much
We always have expectations and disappointments...beautiful piece! That is how we learn and perfect!
Thanks 😊
It is easy to run out of superlatives to describe your work. Another amazing result.
Thank you very much!
I love it. This is exactly the kind of thing that resin makes possible. One thing I've had luck with is taping the silicone molds together before the pour. I love the idea of a livestream. Designer Epoxy.
Yes, I had no idea that was going to be a problem. I wonder if placing some small steel rods on top would keep it together? Thanks for watching

Unfortunately, we’re not set up to make another one at this time. Thanks for watching!

Your imagination is limitless I'll never know how you come up with these ideas but keep it up. So unique absolutely amazing work man well done.
Thank you very much!
The circles look like the faces of the moon. Funky looking.
It definitely is, lol. Thanks
I am always looking forward to Friday! I'm retired, so it isn't because of the weekend. This piece is beautiful and I love seeing what you come up with. Your ideas are always so insightful. Thanks again Jim for another fun watch!

It’s like the phases of the moon. Great job Jim.
Thank you very much!

Another beautiful project c/o Jim and his wizardry with Designer Epoxy
Thank you! Cheers!
I think the imperfections in the ring makes me think of stars space and galaxies!
Totally, thanks!

Me too, thanks!

Outstanding Your still a kid at heart. Time to take off.
Thanks for watching
This is a really awesome turning. Love the space theme. The small globes kind of also look like planets. Wonderful piece.
Thanks for watching
Wow, each week you come up with new and creative ideas and then pull them off beautifully
Thanks for continuing to share these with us
Designer Epoxy
Thanks for watching

Wow 😮 with the light shining inside oh it looks awesome! Very creative
Thank you so much!
I love the way you learn on the job and still come up with a saleable piece! Very clever idea - well done 😊
Thank you very much
Whenever you can come up with an idea you are required by the artist code to try and perfect your artistry
That’s amazing, it looks like the earth and phases of the moon! Love it
Thank you very much!
I will say that you never disappoint with your creations. And I'm very glad that you got into the resin side of turning. I keep learning more and more with every video of yours that I watch.(haven't missed one yet) Thanks for sharing!

Turned out beautiful but other worldly. Designer Epoxy.
Thanks again!

Thanks, I was really quite happy with the refill. It doesn’t really take away from the piece, but yes a lighter tint should of been used. Jim
Wow what a crazy ambitious project. But I'm not surprised you were able to pull it off. Well done
Thank you very much
Love this piece! It looks to me like an Earth-like globe attached to a Mars-like globe, and the orbs in the middle remind me of Jupiter's Great Red Spot.
I especially appreciate that you share the things that didn't go to plan in these videos. 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Designer Epoxy seems to be the “go to” you do great things with it!!
Thank you very much!
Really amazing work. My mom and I throughly enjoy watching this video together.

We did, thanks!
Designer Epoxy
I get the impression that the UV epoxy and you are going to be really good friends in the near future. Plus the fast cure epoxy too of course.
I do like the hollow form. It had to grow on me, but I quite like it now.
We will see lot of them in the future. Thanks for watching
That spaceship is amazing!! Even with the issues you had it's still incredible.
Thanks 😊
I would definitely like to see a live stream. Interactive Q&A would be awesome.
Thanks
Designer epoxy. This spaceship looks so funky and I love it!
Thank you! Cheers!
I really really like this piece, it would make an awesome night light. Like the Easter egg, but like with off cuts, and globes. So creative and cool❤
I totally agree! Thanks

It came out really cool, Jim. Can't wait to see what you do next.

Those are my salad bowls, lol. Thanks for watching!
WOW. What alot of work and alot of talent to produce such a beautiful piece of art. Amazed once again. Love watching your works.
Thank you very much
Turned out very very awesome. Can't wait til the next one.

Another thoroughly enjoyable project! I enjoy your process and that you create objects that please you (keep hearing "This is the coolest thing I have made!" one each new creation!!!)
Thank you very much
Designer Epoxy. Loved watching you make this fun project. Very beautiful. I would be very interested in watching a live feed.
Great! Thank you very much
Holy Crap , This Is Out Of This World .Stunning work Jim. Looks Like A UFO 🤩
Thank you very much! Great products to make great things!
It's amazing how you can turn a piece of wood into a piece of art
Thank you very much
She’s pretty darned beautiful!
Thank you very much
Ooh that’s lush. Those globes look like different stages of a solar eclipse, or maybe different phases of the moon? Beautiful! 🌸🙂
Thank you very much
I watched this twice! Amazing and very creative.
Thank you very much
Unique piece! Reminded me of phases of a moon orbiting a planet. Swirls in the black resin and the air bubbles you pointed out actually add an aspect of character to the piece. You should use that orb maker to make something for Christmas, maybe some ornaments? That would be cool to see! Awesome project!
Ya never know, lol. Thanks
YES TO THE LIVE STREAM!
REAL TIME JIM!
Lol, thanks!
My first thought is different. Not in a bad way, just different. For some, this is probably the greatest thing they have ever seen. As usual, your work is outstanding. Creating interesting content has to be difficult at times. Love your channel.

I would love this as a lamp
It would be pretty cool. Thanks
The pits just make it look planet
Agreed, thanks.
OHH love the spaceship! The UV light works so fast ! Very cool :)
Thanks for watching
Live stream would be awesome! This is a very cool piece…..even with “mistakes”, you always make it work. That’s talent!
Thank you very much
AGREE!!!!
Very nice, as a Trekkie I can appreciate it.
Thank you very much
