Despite watching this show for a number of years, I never questioned how Robotnik and his henchmen escaped from the bottomless pit until now. And that would be a really thought provoking subject, especially when we bring up the fact that Grounder failed to break Robotnik's fall. You'd think that at the very least, Scratch and Grounder would be the only ones to make it out.
Man Sonic has more outfits than a Fancy dress shop! I actually noticed continuity in one part when Sonic was in the cage (a cage with bars soo wide he could clearly walk out of 😂😂), his arms where blue instead of his skin tone. Loving these videos as always!
That damn mole treads a fine line between near pure evil and pure evil. Had it not been for his sudden change of heart, with Sonic saving his life, he'd definitely remain worse than Robotnik.
Yes this episode is better than the first one. It has more action and Sonic speed. Spielunk reminds me a little to good old Ebenezer Scrooge but in a way more assy way. The biggest down for me here is that the place of the episode is called Marble Zone. I mean, a mine, a minecart, the underground. It SCREAMS for the Underground Zone from Sonic 2 from Master System. But I think because the game was mostly popular in Europe and Brazil, back than kids in the US wouldn´t understand the the game referece, if this zone would be called Underground Zone. So that´s why I think it´s called Marble Zone.
I cannot explain why, but watching this reminded me of a kids TV show from my youth that I swear was on ALL THE TIME in the UK but has seemingly been forgotten by everyone who watched it. Taz-Mania; another relic of the 90's pastel era. It's weird to think I watched so much of that show and yet I cannot remember a single thing about it except that the dad was like a parody of rich Florida golfer dads. In fact I feel like I remember a lot of the show centering around golf and a general Florida style (even though it was meant to be Australia) Sorry to rant about something not AoStH related but that's just how memories work I guess. Also I don't know if you are aware but a game came out called VIVIDLOPE that featured art inspired by Dreamcast games like Chu Chu Rocket; seems like your kind of thing.
Haha I used to watch (and enjoy) Taz-Mania but forgot it existed until you mentioned it - had to go look it up because I didn't remember there were other Taz family members in it. And now I can't stop thinking about that Taz game for the Mega Drive for some reason! Memories unlocked! I will check out VIVIDLOPE btw. I haven't heard of it! Thank you!
@@fanix9989 Yep! It was the Warner Bros cartoon. What language was it? The English version I found quite annoying personally, so I wonder how it sounded in other places
6:43, enough with the mush already. - Sonic XD Dang, Sonic. That's one way to tell someone who's lonely as he is. 7:25, STRONG SHIT. 7:30 - 7:42, XD Where did you come up with these funny statements? You and Robotnik in this show will always be an awesome comedy duo.
1:20 I reckon that spring could also be considered a game reference.
YES! 100%! I can't believe I didn't mention that in the video. It's red too! Thanks for pointing it out.

Haha it used to bug me as a kid how they escaped from that pit. Maybe the mole was lying about it being bottomless?

Haha yeah that always bugged me as a kid. They could clearly fit through those bars! Cheers 🍻

Oh yeah, he was a monster pre-Sonic-save! The worst of the worst!
If you do the Best Hedgehog Episode, you gotta use the Chad Robotnik vs the Virgin Lucus Meme as a thumbnail.

Yep, Underground Zone would definitely have made more sense haha. It looks absolutely nothing like Marble Zone!
Ohhh I like this video series a lot, I would never watch the show but I'm down for a retelling!
Awesome! I'll keep uploading them as often as I can (alongside my usual content). Thank you for watching!

@@HillTopTerebi Taz was a terrible character to base a show on since he's basically non verbal; hence why there's like 10 characters to support him
Is he Taz from Warner Bros? I watched a cartoon about him, but it was in 2000s. The opening theme in my language was very catchy.

the zone they go to somewhat resembles mystic cave zone a lot more then marble zone
