If I had a nickel for every time I saw a car themed show with a giant panel of screens, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
So I can't see anything close enough on any of the videos but how does the bass line do the fast mallet spins in their fingers? Is there some sort of device tapen onto the mallets that goes around the index finger or is it a creative tape job? I've never seen a close enough view to see how it works.
It’s like a rubber/plastic thing that go onto the mallet/stick and piece that’s shaped like a wing go around your finger. They had them last year and Rhythm X also used them a few years ago

@@gmiller598they’re handmade! they use gauze and stick tape. i’ve seen one of their basses make it before. doesn’t seem too difficult!
