A few days ago I flew from Greece - Heraklion to Romania - Bucharest in real life and did the same route in this game. I can’t believe how realistic this is. The airport and the mountains, islands and everything were just like in real life.
Great vid, Sir. Just one more thing to add to realism, assuming you have passengers😉: the 6000+ v/s is unrealistic. You should have set the climb profile on the FMC and engaged the V/S button at 2500 or 3000 before engaging AP. Also, at TOD, rather use the VNAV button, which will automatically engage the V/S button and will descend at a reasonable rate, provided your waypoints on the FMC are not too close together, but which you'll have to adjust. Lastly, use the approach mode on final so you can capture the localize and glidescope seamlessly. Not that you did anything wrong, it's just different ways of doing it. Just my 2 cents worth contribution. 👍🏾 The landing was good
It was a really informative video. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Quick question: How come your FMS is so sharp? I'm on Android with max graph and the digits and texts are so smudgy, I can barely make out anything. Anyone has the same issue?
nice! but you forgot a few things. No performance data in the computer set, forgot to turn on anti-collision lights, logo lights and wing lights. Takeoff-thrust is usually between 94 % - 96 % N1

great , maybe yo can help help me, so I followed your video, and my waypoint had VECTOR before YOMAN, basically I fly heading 224 forever, it never pick up the next waypoint YOMAN, why is it happening? I also noticed it on every other flight plan I do, each time I have VECTOR , it basically fly that heading forever , why is it happening ?

How come your aircraft is so stabil? Whenever I have Flaps 30/40 and speed at 160-150 kts, it shakes and throws all over the place, and there's just no way I can land it.
Great video! For 737, IIRC the FCTM recommends setting 40% N1, stabilize, then set takeoff thrust. But it’s easy for me to sit here and say that, you did an excellent job here-and yeah the flight directors are a bit weird, nosedive on takeoff lmao. Keep it up! Do you plan on getting the new release of Aerofly?
You are likely right on the FCTM recs... I'm not sure about the new Aerofly. I have certainly enjoyed their product in the past, and the price is right (one-time nominal fee, no subscription), but the feel of the previous releases is so different from XPlane. I'm sure that for some people, "not feeling like XPlane" is a huge plus, but when it comes to the commercial jets, Aerofly just feels a bit "off". I have flown several times in $20 million FAA-certified full motion 737 simulator, and I can confirm that XPlane Mobile is a very, very similar experience, whereas Aerofly feels like a game. So for me, in terms of mobile simulators, it's XPlane or bust. And if I want a general aviation experience with high-res VFR, I'd turn to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator... so I think I'm pretty much "done" with Aerofly unless they completely overhaul the sim.

You shouldve had turn on the engine 2 first becuz thats how they start it in real life and your pushing back to the left but its not a big deal anyways its a great video
Try reloading the sim. And avoid using replay function before completing your flight cause there is quite a few bugs that'll potentially affect your flight.
Does anybody know if they will get around to updating the mobile version of this game? The current one honestly looks very outdated to me, and had major issues running as well. Here are a few problems I’ve encountered while I’ve had it, 1: spawning in space or underground 2: runways that are flat in real life, not flat in the game (KSEA is an example) 3: sound glitches and bugs, or no sound 4: countless bugs with replay, including it crashing the app 5: old issue with the F-22 flaps making the plane nose down and often crash directly into the ground 6: Some cockpits (777, A10, A320, F4, Piaggio) are not completely simulated, no way to start engines from cold and dark, or even operate the true autopilot. 7: it used to overheat my old 2017-ish 9.7 inch IPad Pro. Luckily, my new 10th gen standard IPad doesn’t have the issue. 8: the A320 is honestly an embarrassing product in this game. It looks terrible, especially the windows, wings and the cockpit interior, and once again, it isn’t interactive

I tried following along in the same plane, but when I go to the RTE page in the FMC it already has KBOS in the origin space and I can't enter any new information in.... Going to the route page would also be the first thing I'd do. I deselect the Start With Engines Running option and set up the start in the menu exactly the same as you. I'm doing this after a recent update "to the route editor widgets," I wonder if it's messing everything up? HEEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!!!

For what ever reason when I hit VALRE waypoint I don’t descend. I have tried this step by step by your exact instruction and it just doesn’t work. The only thing I didn’t change is the wheel at the top for vertical speed but I don’t see how that would effect me in any way. Also after VALRE I don’t pick up BASYE for some reason instead I bank right and go to heading 052. No idea why. Any help is appreciated.
I have the same problems, but i think you just have to set the vertical speed and altitude manually (press V/S and change the vert. speed to -1500 or more)

Having seen simpleplanes recently released "experimentally" for Quest 2, I seriously doubt the current Oculus hardware could handle XPlane. Hopefuly, Quest 3 will provide a significant upgrade in processing power.

I believe that I may have obtained the airport diagram, ILS, departure, and approach plates through my Navigraph subscription. If I recall, the overall flight plan maps were obtained from skyvector.com.

They have it in the game it self, but doesn’t support actual IRL controls connected.

Why does my computer not allow data entry? I cannot enter a cruising altitude or antyhing.
I really can’t believe we have a simulator of almost pc level for handheld devices.

You can set yourself up for a 3nm or 10nm final approach, but you can only do so from the global map route screen, not during the flight itself.

When you choose your plane in the right corner is a settings button located, in these settings is a button with: start with engines running

First of all, set your origin and destination airport in FMC. Then, go to Dep Arr page and select the runway.

This was actually an iPad Pro (4th Gen). The installation is 900 MB; capacity requirements may vary on Android.
