Fun fact: If there was a sequel made. There would have been an evil group of E.T.’s species that would have kidnap Elliot’s family and his friends. They would have tortured them in an attempt to find out what happened to E.T. who may or may not would have returned to save the family. It was scrapped for being too disturbing of a sequel for a family film.
