Army Men: RTS is a real-time strategy video game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by The 3DO Company for PlayStation 2, Microsoft Windows and GameCube.
In this game, Sarge, his heroes and the Green Army are hungry to put an end to their nemesis once and for all, the tyrannical Tan army, battling them in 15 campaigns missions, 8 special operation missions and 8 great battles in The 3DO Company's farewell to this series.
The Greenies hit dirt paths, linoleum floors and carpets and weave through flower beds, strewn boxes and toy train sets to collect plastic and electricity to build snipers to clear the field from afar or amass an army that overwhelms the opposition. The game is based on the movie Apocalypse Now, where the good guys hunt down an insane colonel, here Colonel Blintz.
Man. This tickles my nostalgia something fierce. Remember playing this on the GameCube back in the day, granted I was god awful but still had fun.
If possible; I’d love to see you play through the campaign.
My brother is 23 and when he was little he played that game in the game cube and I do to in 2021

Great gameplay as usual. Finally someone who uses Paratroopers, Machinegunners, and more unorthodox units as opposed to simply massing tanks like so many people do!
The only thing that annoys me about the game is the control, the units can get stuck so many times. what do you think?
@@zoom3000 My thoughts exactly! If the pathing of the units were better, it'd be a far better game. I remember losing units just because they would try to go around all my other units when I ordered them back. Quite annoying, but nostalgic. Thanks for uploading anyway!

this is a fun game... i remember the magazines that used to show this game and how fun it was
right. I like to play it sometimes. It is a simple, light and fun game.
It seems kinda fucked up that not only do you utterly destroy your enemies, you get to use their remains as resources to make more of your men. Maybe it's just me. I remember playing the other Army Men games, but a RTS for them always came to mind as more enjoyable. I really should go back and play those games again
Sarge's War also touches on this, after the bomb detonation at the ceremony members of the new Tan Army come in to scrap up whatever plastic they can find.

Wow the multiplayer mode looks so good, I never remember it being on console or else I would’ve loved it.
