- NO ONE INJURED! GIANT Port A Ship Tsunami
(WATCH WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF VIDEO!!)
Loaded tanker going through the ship channel near Port Aransas Texas. Tsunami wave caused by loaded ship pushing water.
Ha yes the good ol' "start moving the camera all over the place when it gets interesting" kinda video. nice ...
Great camera work dude.
Such a waste... the moment the wave was going to crash onto the wall and the video pans away.. awesome..
Nice truck!
Think how devastating it would have been if it had been a real tsunami wave.
WOW, what a perfect longboard wave!
The locals sometimes ride these for long distances and have someone pick them up.
That was definitely one of the bigger ones for Port A. I have a few videos posted from same spot.
I will check it out
Uh, that's why we call it the ship channel. lol
No kidding! It's amazing how many people can't read a sign or just don't pay attention to what's happening around them!
Dang that’s one of my fishing spots that’s the worst I have ever seen but cool!
Fishin4Trophies I came back about an hour later and caught a nice red & speckled trout. Remains of the pier have been removed.
Nice view of your truck’s dashboard. Next time, try showing the actual wave🤦♂️
Nice barrel to surfing epicly :)
Nice wave and good filming, ignore the haters.
The haters no matter what. They are like armchair quarterbacks.
😂
I've seen a bunch of these vid's recently.
These are not really "tsunamis", which is typically created by sub-sea movements, displacing the water above.
This is just the bow-wake coming ashore from the passing vessel.
The vessel is in a deep channel, and is displacing water as it moves along.
The shore line is shallower, and as the water comes up to the shallower bottom, , the moving water energy is pushed up, causing the "wave", just like traditional swells and waves at sea.
I know it's water displacement
Aww didn’t get to really see the wave hit
Leafy Captain I know, sorry about that. It was one of those moments when you have no plans to film anything. I was trying to make sure we were out of the path of that thing. Two years ago I witnessed a mini van with both side doors open get flooded out wth people in the two front seats. The water went through that van and moved it about a foot.
The wife coulda held on to the camera to prevent the sea sickness I got from watchin this. Nonetheless thanks anyways
Wow!!
Finally saw an a _ _h_ _e cameraman's face.
Where is this I’d love to go surfing good camera work too 🤙🏼
Since this was taken they have done some dredging in the channel to reduce these waves. I hate that!
@@texasseniorskayakfishing9223 That sucks. Have a good weekend 🤙
AND as the ocean levels rise, Farmer John, it WILL get worse !!
"The camera is still turned on!"
Too bad, it was worthless
This wasn’t a planned event. If you want perfection, call Paramount Pictures. Jerk.
LOL, very cool
It's called water displacement.
You can barley see the ship below the horizon
Wow that Captain should know better, but that's why there dredging the channel deeper and wider.
Now I’m seasick.
Virtually pointless. Missed most of the action....
i didnt even see the best part...
you ruined what could have been an awsome video
Good lord... could the camera work be any more awful?
Too bad we missed it all.... all I saw was the inside of your damn truck ... ruined it , you did !
What a sullen person you are. This was impromptu. Spontaneous. Think you can do better? 😂😂
@@dealemilyn1259 triggered much !
