I won Ryobi's old 6 piece set that you guys gave away a couple of years ago. It's been great for DIY stuff around the house. I use the drill, impact driver, and flashlight all the time. It would have been nice if they did like a 1.5 and a 4 or some larger battery. Been using Ryobi for years and I’m a big fan of their tools. But they should get rid of that oscillating tool and put the job plus oscillating tool in the kit instead. I just bought that one because the heads are interchangeable with the ridgid. So you can have a small recip saw, jig saw and a few other things run off the power base.
This is a great DIY first time purchase kit and the batteries included are small. For the price, people can upgrade batteries when needed. The recip and circ saw in this kit are much smaller than Milwaukee's.
@BrandonB311 The kit should come with one small battery and another with a larger capacity. $ 229 for all that?! Holy Crap! No wait! The 9 piece kit currently for $299, with an additional sander, vacuum, and weedwacker- just kicked its ass, plus gives you 2Ah batteries instead!

How do you think these compare to the brushless line that you reviewed a couple years ago? You seem a lot more impressed with the performance of these in comparison.
A few years ago Ryobi let the brushless line go without the new HP batteries. With the HP batteries, Ryobi has a solid brushless line. The video you watched was with normal batteries and the tools were not impressive. Add the new batteries and they wake up!
300 bucks for all 6 tools is hard to beat no matter what combination of competitor tools I've looked at. Craftsman would be the main competition for me since I eventually want to get a nail gun, even though Craftsman doesn't make a 23ga pin nailer.
comparable craftsman kit would be CMCKVS402D2 in my opinion. UWO calculations..... If you don't need a recip, and buy an oscillating bare tool, it comes out a little cheaper and has a hardbox cart. I like the quick change on the oscillating tool, but haven't heard any good things about the Craftsman v20 brushed lineup. V20 tools have some better small features like a ratcheting chuck on the cmcd701 drill and rubber anti skid on the impact and drill at least. Caught a deal on the Ryobi kit and ended up with two 4ah batteries though. That fact, with the huge line of Ryobi tools, is what is keeping me with the Ryobi brand. They have also never changed the battery style. Guess I'm just thinking out loud at this point LOL

I know I've said this before, but I need Ryobi to release more kits without batteries. I already have too many batteries and 6 Port chargers.
You can never have enough batteries unless they are all 1.5 Ah's... :)
@@WorkshopAddict I have 6 of the 4ah on the 6-port charger, and 4 of the 1.5ah that haven't been on the chargers for years.
@@m3rdpwr wonder if your 1.5s would still charge.
@@86dieselman while back I tried and they do charge, however they seem to drain pretty quickly. There are some videos out there on how to kind of fix them.
Is the charger ok for 110 v or 220 v?
It would have been nice if they did like a 1.5 and a 4 or some larger battery.
Been using Ryobi for years and I’m a big fan of their tools.
But they should get rid of that oscillating tool and put the job plus oscillating tool in the kit instead. I just bought that one because the heads are interchangeable with the ridgid. So you can have a small recip saw, jig saw and a few other things run off the power base.
Xin hỏi mn bộ này toàn bộ không chổi than hay có chổi than vậy a
A 1.5ah battery on a circular saw or recip saw sounds like a terrible idea. My 3ah goes dead super fast on my Milwaukee recip saw.
@@WorkshopAddict I agree...when I bought my 2x tool kit...the batteries were 1.3 Ah & 1.5 Ah...which I had to upgrade to 3 Ah ...I've never had to use my 1.3 or 1.5 Ah batteries again...maybe I can use them for my flashlight or fan ?? but for now they sit in the bag, waiting for use.
I just put a 6ah battery on my m12 hakzall and it’s a different tool with great runtime
they added 4ah now to sale with the kit
WISH THEY MADE A GOOD 18V 4X BATTERY LAWNMOWER AND RATCHET WRENCH.
They have the weed wacker...but I didn't know abou the lacking of Lawnmower ?
Ryobi does make a ratchet wrench - for the Australian market. You can buy them on eBay.

Ryobi makes a few good lawnmowers...(from a Ridgid fan) I've seen alot of good reviews....👇
Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing:

Can I drill concrete blocks with this drill/driver? (I'm from Mexico, our houses are build with concrete blocks)
I'm not a professional, only for randomly house use
No it would be impractical but ryobi has a brushless hammer drill good for drilling blocks
Good presentation...Thanks....
Blade left is how a circular saw should be for right handed people. The line of sight is much superior.
Last Year The Week Before Black Friday
I Bought A 9 Ah Battery For $89.99
At HomeDepot. & I Used It In My Little Fan
In My Bedroom & It Ran From 6:00 pm
That Night Till 4:30 am The Next Morning.
Are these brushless??
Yes
@@WorkshopAddict ok I'm confused. You answered the same question before, saying that they are brushed and not brushless.
@@choppers2yadie same
Have them but the skill saw. Bought piece by piece
Saw this for 200 at home depot!!
& I Just Love The Flashlight & The Glue gun Too.
& The Osscilating Multi Tool p340
I’d like to see more 4+ piece Ryobi kits without the drill and impact driver.
Can I get it in a European plug
Can confirm the sawzall will survive a Honda civic being dropped on it and being used at junkyards
purchased this yesterday for $199.99
Thinking about getting this tomorrow as it come with a free brad nailer for 398 CAD should be a good “getting into the trade set”
Going to also be getting the 6 ahh batterys though
Also comes with one 1.5 and one 4 battery
they added one 4ah in kit now
It’s only 199 at Home Depot right now great deal
Do you think the impact driver would be sufficient for automotive use?
Good for very small stuff, not for lugs or suspension.
Can I still get this 6 combo?
Off sale the 6 PC will cost about $300. If you're fortunate you can catch on sale for $200. There may be a difference of a few dollars depending where in the USA you live.
