Sargent Mountain & Penobscot Mountain - Acadia National Park - Mountains #2 and #5

This year I'm climbing the 26 mountains of Mt. Desert Island in reverse order by height. This was my climb of Sargent Mountain and Penobscot Mountain. in Acadia National Park. This climb started at the Brown Mountain carriage road entrance just north of Northeast Harbor. I followed the carriage roads east to the Amphitheatre Trail. I then hiked the South Ridge Trail to the summit of Sargent. I came back down South Ridge and connected to the Penobscot Mountain Trail and tagged the summit of Penobscot. I then went back the same route.
