Nice vid! Many of the issues with these come from the cover plate deforming (people step here on open gate) and the cover hitting or bending the rods. flattening the cover and unbending rods, as well as lubing latches and handle mechanism (silicone spray works well) can sometimes postpone need for replacement.
After watching this video I got my tools out (thanks for mentioning what tools are needed) and it only took 35 minutes to replace the handle and lock. It was easy after watching the video.
Much appreciated! Install went so easily. One issue, my lock cylinder will not stay in place. With slight pressure, it falls out, even with the retainer clip in properly. Any insight is helpful. Thank you!
