The storytelling is exactly what puts Uncommon Valor at the top for me - I'm just a sucker for storytelling (my all time favorite verse is the first verse on Mr Busdriver). But I agree with you, Rugged's verse on Renaissance is BONKERS
It's an amazing track with a sick beat (shout out to Stoupe), incredible writing by all involved, and a delivery so dope it's hard to measure, and while Vinnie Paz is no slouch, R.A. deserves to be remembered for forever for this track alone. Make no mistake, it's one of HipHop's finest, ever, and that's no small thing. Love and respect to R.A. and his entire family, Jedi Mind Tricks, Talib, and the rest of the People's Party crew. Another important interview... Thank you all.
Absolutely one of the strongest period the details jam packed true, miracle of breath control unforgettable and will never be forgotten classic in its purest form
Incredible. Listened to it when it came out just was listening to some RA as I had discovered him. Now started listening to some Jedi Mind Tricks and Vinnie songs in over a decade and Uncommon Valor popper into mind. Now I get to see him actually talk about it.
Agent Orange is a mass chemical warfare chemical we used. My sis has multiple autoimmune diseases the worst of them is lupus. I have fibromyalgia, moms had miscarriages and a baby with spinal bifida who didn’t survive. Yes my pops was out there in Vietnam. He was anti war and military after that experience. His fight for our freedom later became a curse on the family. But god bless America cuz america needs all the blessings they can handle. Thank you to all the troops who sacrifice everything. They are young naive heroes who sacrificed for their subjective better good. Life is a trip.
