Steve, super happy to see you making vids again. One of my favorite channels to watch! 🤙🏾
Yep!
I appreciate that!
You da man, Steve. I think maybe you were a teacher or instructor in a previous life.
The bread looks amazing. Thank you for coming back. Looking forward to your next video whenever that is.
Thank you so much for the link Jesse's channel, I like all your views as well, God Bless you and take care.
Hooray, the Van is back! This is why I originally started following your channel, because I was shopping for an old Class B, and eventually got myself a 1996 Xplorer. My setup is different from yours, but you still gave me a lot of good tips and ideas.
On OG Sub. Cool.
I guess there's no moss growing under your feet. Thanks for updating those of us who are stuck inside 😆
Nice to see you back!
Nice to see you back on UA-cam. Remote property is a tough search - We looked for 12 yrs until we found our 1/4 acre in Northern Ontario.
Maybe i have too much a city boy mentality. I didn't like the nearest neighbors yard with all the car parts. only about half the 10 acres was usable for anything because of marshy area's. My friend said "you're paying for seclusion with that. He had a point but still.
Welcome back Steve!
Skips did my xplorer year and a half ago. They added a leaf and also put some spacers for a lift for me. Great shop.
Wow. Small world.

Glad to see you back!
Great video, Steve!
Glad you're back.
Great video Steve. Great content.
Great vidja steven.
I'm waiting for the next HarborFreight trip. 🙂
Awesome video Steve
good to see you back with more stuff steve... and good choice with mods
thanks for the video
Yum!!! Yay!! for new content, yet again!!! Woooh!!
Great to hear from you.
And don’t cheap out if the van needs new airbags. A motor home across from me at Itasca State Park lost an airbag in the middle of the night last August. It sounded like my 12 gauge shotgun. As it turned out, it was the wrong airbag. It looked like something that belonged on a Honda Civic low rider. So much for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Congrats. You obviously know what you're doing. As for me?
Love the 🍞 great job
interesting video Steve !
thanks Steve
thank you...very much..
Damn that bread looks good 😎
Nice video Steve. Good work on the rear suspension setup!
Thanks 👍
Thanks explorer Steve, we appreciate your videos, makes me miss my explorer
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks, Steve I will look, Jess
HarborFreight tools!! I use them too, along with Ryobi 18v
Thank you, Steve. Wish I had half your skill set.
You can do it!
Wow, it seems like a long time ago since I’ve seen your Explorer (it’s the reason I subbed you 7 or 8yrs ago)! She looks just as beautiful as I last saw her! Looking forward to following along on more new journeys this year! Always my best to you and your Family Steve 👍🏼👏🏼🖖🏼
Thanks for sticking around. Glad to be back.
I love your videos I have few off road vehicles and a Dodge Roadtrek 190 versitile .If you don’t mind me asking how much was it to add a leaf on your van at skips? Did you notice a better ride? I’m thinking of doing the same to my van. Thank you .
That rear suspension is well worth the bucks Steve.❤️🙏
I agree. Replacing the shocks and struts all the way around made such a difference. This thing weighs around 9000lbs and the heavy duty RV Bilsteins handles it.
that bread looks incredible, just pull out the butter and homemade jam.
I have a 97 Xplorer, 21 feet Dodge 3500 with 9.5 liter. love the airbags and the van. Southern AZ my next destination..near Tucson Mt Lemon 🍋
keep on whittling!
Ever make it to Yuma?
@@usaman7358 just by enroute
@@panchamama I have no idea what you are trying to say
Sounds great! I want to make it to Mt. Lemon sometime.
Been by it or past it.
Mr. Steve thank you for all the up date infor. Went over to North Country and subscribed. Thanks for link been looking for his channel. Maybe Candy can give you some pointers on home made bread. 👍👍👍👍 Cheers
Awesome, thank you!
Please send a link can’t find anything on north country

Steve, any plans on doing some more urbanlanding? Loved seeing those adventures. Stay safe!
That's the plan!
How about a start to finish video about the sourdough process, from making the starter to mixing the ingredients to baking?
That Xplorer of yours is the best I've ever seen. I looked at one that was close to how good yours appears to be...but the 36K price was beyond my means.
Hey Ron. I hear you. Prices have really shot up after the van craze. Craze is here to stay a while. Thanks for subbing all this time. Appreciate that. Just when I think I have killed my channel from neglect. Ron shows up!
👍🏼
What about how you utilize your Tesla? Where is harbor freight? I only shop at HF there virtually through this channel and you cut it off for us 😂
I got hate for just driving it once. dunno man. been back a couple weeks. We'll get to HF but I gotta "need" something.
👍
hope you find the land you want close to Jessie and Candy.
Steve, was it Bilstiens on the rear as well? Ordered some and waited forever for them to come. Also ordered a different leaf helper for the rear, hope mine works as good as yours. Please keep posting, enjoy it a bunch.
John, would you mind providing the name and model of your leaf helper? I have not had any luck locating the correct Add-A-Leaf model. I have a 98 Xplorer like Steve's. I have contacted several suspension shops and they don't even have a replacement leaf spring set for a 98 B3500. I will be upgrading the rear shocks as well.
Yes it was. I believe I linked them in the video description where I did the front shocks a while back. .
Yum
Still can't find Jessie James on you tube
Look in the description.
Nice class B
Steve, you said they also installed heavy duty "Rear" shock absorbers. I have a 98 Xplorer XLW and I don't see "Rear" shock absorbers on mine.
I do have the air bags. Am I crazy? Please help!
I don't know if you are crazy because I only know my own. Leaf springs, shocks and airbags. Maybe yours are different?
@@XplorerSteveDIY Thanks Steve. I assumed chassis would be the same. I would love to get rear shocks if possible.
Are you still feeding that sourdough starter? I found that part to be a pain.
It died during the flour supply shortages early one. Still can't find the "special" flours.
Hi Steve. My VAN is bigger, lol.
Sure is. Hey everyone. It's North Country!
Steve I'm in Vegas is there any good places to eat I'm staying on South Rainbow Boulevard ?
It's Vegas baybey. Plenty. Google what you like. If you like any type of Asian food, Chinatown.
Copy that 👌
With that rear suspension upgrade you're now without excuse to date women with a more abundant girth.
Less is more!
Hey Steve, Im getting ready to retire soon. And want to sell the Xplorer. But i have no idea what's its worth. You can't find any for sale.. What's your best guess?
Hey Z. In good condition around 30k ish. Just google for.”Xplorer 230 XLWT FOR SALE” there are usually a few on sale at consignment RV dealers, and by looking at the pictures and mileage you can get a pretty good idea however, the market has diminished a bit for some RVs but I think class b are still popular
@@XplorerSteveDIY I appreciate your input.. hope you are well.
