what is intangible about his issues? as far as i can tell his problems come down to conditioning and willpower. Hes been in the league long enough to have access to the best training program in the world, he needs to be in better shape and conditioning. more than injuries. his issue is he doesnt want to run the floor, just jack up 3s. Jokic is fatter but he has good conditioning. runs the floor adds spacing which the sixers desperatly need

There's a reason why he's barely considered a top 5 CENTER of all time, let alone one of the goat candidates. But, yeah, he's technically not wrong about Embiid. He was the Embiid of the 90s/2000s, more or less, but was still that much better than everyone else to where he dominated.

I can completely understand acute injuries from come from direct contact, like when Zaza stepped on Kawhis's foot, but in the society we live in, I don't understand these indirect acute injuries and chronic injuries that these athletes suffer from. Yes, NBA places an extreme amount of stress on the body. 82 games a season is insane to me. But at the same time, guys like Embiid have virtually unlimited access to anything and anyone to prevent them from getting these injuries. Excellent strength trainers, flexibility and mobility trainers, conditioning trainers, personal chefs, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists, biomechanists etc, are just one phone call away. They essentially have 24/7 access to cryotherapy, heat therapy, massages etc. All of those things, along with the advancements un technology, should make injuries a rare occurrence.
