As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. BarakAllahu feek. I love the way you teach. Thank you very much for the tips and may Allah Subhana wa Ta'Ala continue blessing you.
Just a thought on the extensive memorizing part: "There is research regarding memory which states that “distributed” practice beats “massed” practice for retention. If we need, say, 100 repetitions of hearing something to remember it, we have (broadly speaking) two options: repeat it 100 times in one class (massed practice), or repeat it four times per class for twenty-five classes (distributed practice)."
Some important points from this video: 1) Set aside a special place for only studying Arabic. 2) Treat your learning of Arabic as something important. Treat it like a job or a real class. -- BECAUSE IT IS A REAL CLASS! 3) Preview the Lesson -- to open your mind to what you will be learning. 4) Listen to lesson. Listen, take notes, and write down important points of grammar and vocabulary -- CORRECTLY! 5) Absorb the knowledge -- Review what you have learned; make it your own. Follow your learning style. Ask questions. 6) Memorize the vocabulary -- Memorize the six verbal patterns and the noun forms (singular, plural, synonyms, antonyms) 7) Practice repeating the vocabulary at least 250 times, but aim for 500 to 700 times in order to achieve superior fluency. 8) Remember these words of wisdom: "Forgetfulness cannot cope with repetition."
