Mick watching you play an expensive acoustic and talking about desert trips reminded me of a story my friend Gordon Goudie told me. He’s a Glasgow guitarist who plays in several bands on tours he was with Simple Minds before the lockdown but he’s done some others but I think he was with Echo and the Bunnymen and they were touring the states and crossing a desert on a coach with the acoustic guitars in the luggage hold at the bottom of the coach and when they stopped the desert heat had warped the wood on all the acoustics.

I travelled from Australia to the Desert Trip. What fantastic experience it was. I wasn't much of a Stones fan before but I am now.
