Hi Robert, thank you for these great techniques and body work. I can you please do the other side of the legs so we can see more clearly especially how to work that area? Thanks so much for these useful information.
I have questions...it's deep relief for the client's and feels so good. But how you explain to them that area will be sore next day. Specifically if they have this technique for first time. Thank you very much. MM
As the larger massage community gets wind of my work I think it's important that I rebrand and move on sooner rather than later. Massage therapists don't talk to their clients as much as I do and all I can say is I'm using broader tools which typically don't make people sore. In addition I'm communicating verbally about pressure and how things feel as we go. I've worked with enough massage therapists to get frustrated. They'll tell me what I do helps people in chronic pain quickly but lament that it's not "massage." I help people. Communication is a huge part of that and engaging clients verbally makes that easier.
I am a massage therapist... if you are touching them in any way and it gives them relief then it would be considered massage. Even just placing your hand on the client for connecting with the clients body is a form of massage. Bodywork is massage. I don't understand how these other massage therapist wouldn't call what you do massage when it it brings relief to the clients much like massage.
