      Because moss painting is a myth. "Make sure it's natural yogurt" lol - as opposed to yogurt made from unnatural cows. What a lie

    I'd love to see an after shot of this after some of the moss grow because I've tried this method I don't know 20 times and it's never worked not even close. I've also come to find out, and some other places that the milkshake method doesn't work, because it actually cut them off up into such small pieces that the spore producing part of the plant gets destroyed.

      1. Rinse moss in a bucket of water. Squeeze off excess.
      2. Chop up moss finely with a knife (one type)
      3. Let it dry for 2-3 days in shade. Don't let it dry completely though
      4. Mix the chopped moss with fine particle clay soil (Japanese akadama is best)
      5. Spread it on planks of wood
      6. Keep it moist with a misting spray for 3-4 months
      It's slow, but it works. You should keep it outdoors but under a plastic canopy so that the rain and wind don't move it too much.

    I say a research that said the yogurt does nothing, I tried the experement for myself and there is no need for yogourt, it works fine with just water. The yogurt just acts as glue. Wet moss sticks to anything, just sayin'.

    Trying this technique with a slight modification. I've covered the rocks with the paste and I am frequently moisturising it by spraying water on top of it. The rocks are kept in an empty fish tank and I have put LED as the light source. However on day 2 it has started to give a smell and I can see fungus starting to grow on it. Is it normal or should I discard and start afresh ?

      If your tree has thicker foliage that helps, but otherwise you just have to keep it damp, spray it with a small spray bottle so you don’t over water your tree. Or if you do drip/mist irrigation it will thrive on its own.

    Why don’t you show what it looks like after the mistakes or stages of the most taking another words you’re soaked today in five days a show it’s starting to inch in on the deal on the sink and then another five days a show a little more of it and then we have an idea of how long it’s gonna take us to get the effects and if we want to stop it sooner we could see what the effects are we doing it in stages thank you

    • @garyyanofsky9020
      @garyyanofsky9020 2 роки тому +1

      I don’t type so I wasn’t paying attention I was just dictating and after I read it I wish I could’ve deleted it you shouldn’t show this right after you first did the project. Wait five days and if there’s anything show it to us if not give it another five days if there’s something there then film it and at the end you’ll have a little portfolio with a different stages and how long it takes to get there without it we’re trying your stuff we have no idea what it will look like

      @@editedemotions960 I read about this milk method (without the tea) in a book from before the age of the internet, so if it is a troll it's an old one that spread over language borders. It kinda makes sense because moss likes acidic growing conditions and the other components could break down to fertilizers.
