The training period of TXT members actually started before BTS became big. Actually YEONJUN started training only abt a year after BTS debuted.
if i remember right, weren't all of them basically trainees by 2016 some a few years in some a few months in, the year before bts went to us to promote in earnest.

18:00 since bighit became hybe they had many groups but bighit music itself was kept separate, the only groups under bighit are bts and txt as well as a soloist lee hyun !
txt are so lovely, i love them sm. they're the only group other than bts that have ever caught my interest enough for me to stan them and they're just incredible. the members are Yeonjun (1999), Soobin (2000), Beomgyu (2001), Taehyun (2002) and HueningKai (2002) and they debuted in 2019! they also have no official positions in their group, aside from Soobin who is the leader, so they all can rap, sing and dance very well, though some members do more than others.
they have such an incredible discography that follows their journey as they grow up. the mv that Wes was interested in was Sugar Rush Ride which was the title track of their album temptation and its... amazing. no dinosaurs unfortunately but very trippy!
if you ever want to watch other content of both BTS and TXT (plus Lee Hyun, a soloist under bighit) i recommend the 'behind the scenes of bighit group photo'. so cute and txt were still babies then and theyre so adorable. plus its funny seeing bts interact with lee hyun too! if you want to react to txt outside of bts, id start with a guide video! the one by' beomiebear' is very well done and it shows you the members skills and personalities! then you could move onto their music and their own variety show 'to do' ?!

In recent years Big Hit Entertainment has only created 2 groups: BTS and TXT. However, in that time (thanks to the economic growth associated w managing BTS) Big Hit Entertainment expanded into the publicly traded company known as HYBE. HYBE then went out and bought a lot of medium to smaller sized labels. So now HYBE is the parent company to like 6 labels, including Big Hit Music which manages BTS and TXT.
In terms of groups, HYBE now manages around 8 groups (give or take).
37:15 BTS didn't have anyone to mentor them since they were the only group from big hit for a long time, and then in 2019 TXT debuted and they really took them under their wings, helped and was there for them!! They are the seniors they didn't have!! And not only to TXT but mostly them since they are under the same label, i think this is so cute but so important!!
For the last few comments you guys made, I wanna let you know some things
1. 2023 was a year full of interactions between TXT and BTS, they don't really have variety shows or stuff like that kind together, but they've either seen each other in past events (and interacting publicly) or have mentioned either the group's name or a member's name in each other's live. To put on an example, Soobin (TXT's leader. He wasn't in this episode) has been randomly mentioned in a few Suchwita episodes because of a challenge he accidentally popularized on Tiktok called the sorry for being cute challenge (You can see Yoongi and Jimin trying the trend in Jimin's episode). Antoher example is the documentary, Beyond The Stars Ep 7, Namjoon (RM) mentioned he worked in 0x1 Love Song (TXT's song. The one he co-wrote). Also TXT in general, randomly mention them, a few days ago, a video got posted in Taehyun's (The cute well spoken guy in Suchwita that didn't look like he had a drink at all) variety show channel, he got asked who are his role models and he mentioned both Jungkook and J-hope and also Soobin has said in many occasions how much he admires Jin and Namjoon, he said this on live in 2022 I believe? but he admitted he went to RM's house and they're pretty close.
2. If you're looking for a time they were together though. Back in 2019, in the middle of BTS' Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour, we got TXT freshly debuted (Also doing their own showcase around different cities of the US) in a very cute segment.

There's also this cute behind the scene of them together at one music show (Back in 2019. TXT was promoting a B-side from their debut EP while BTS have just started their promotions for Boy With Luv)

This one time in 2019, BTS' maknae line accidentally came across the room when TXT (Beomgyu and Yeonjun) were doing a live. Taehyung even showed up for brief minutes

From 2019 until now we've got a lot of interactions between two groups. They also look way more comfortable around each other because they actually had the chance to built a relationship. They're close! They've said it before! They both are really supportive of each other's group. Remember J-hope was a headliner in Lollapalooza? Well, TXT was there too (Different date) they had a 30 minute performance (J-hope and Jimin showed them their support) There's a brief moment of it in J-hope's behind from Lollapalooza as well as TXT's documentary on Disney+ "Our Lost Summer"

Also, you'll notice they're less awkward around each other with the years. BTS treats them really well, they're very very supportive
4. I can't remember if you ever reacted to TXT in your other channel, but I do recommend to listen to their music! 0x1 Love Song and Chasing that feeling are a must listen! Also they have their own variety show called To do, the members are amazing and have great personalities. They're also a very funny group of guys

5. I think you mentioned something about BTS' staff now that they're in the military. From my understanding they still have the job because BTS has pre filmed a bunch of content to keep us entertained during this time. Also, I think you guys mentioned something about the staff maybe working for TXT considering they're under the same company, but no, each group gets their own people working in their team. Sometimes, they help each other out. Yep, they do. For example, Slow Rabbit (TXT's main producer) has helped in a lot BTS song because he used to work with them for a very long time. Also, one of Yoongi's closest friends and also a producer, El cxpitxn has helped TXT in a few tracks as a producer, but outside of that they have their own staff for everything they do. Btw Hybe as a corporation acquired a lot of agencies and thus, their groups (Even though a lot debuted in the past 2 years) but TXT is the only other group apart from BTS in Big Hit Music (In the past, Big Hit entertainment) Big hit only has 3 artists: BTS, TXT and Lee Hyun (Soloist)

If you want to see some funny TXT variety I recommend their show TO DO, eps 72-73: World’s Best Spring Fairy Contest were really funny and shows how chaotic they are as a group.
Love TXT so much and your discussions about their candid thoughts was so great! Would love to see more of them. Their relationship with BTS is exactly as you said at the end, 90% behind closed doors but that small percentage we see publicly is so special.
Agreed! It's also fun to watch the really early ToDo episodes. They're babies, they're bad at all the games, and the staff are super lenient - and it's adorable. 😂

yeonjun and taehyun are such sweethearts, i can't with suga, his smile looking at them, especially when yeonjun was getting drunk, is so wholesome aww, he looks so proud. while i consider myself an army, i wouldn't really consider myself a moa, but i do check out their music every once in a while and i'm never disappointed. they're really good ^^

i think you guys would love txt! they're the only other group i stan other than bts, and for good reason... they release beautiful music that's really diverse and the members are incredible performers. they have their own variety show that's similar to run bts, i bet if you watched a few of the recent episodes you'd fall in love with their personalities and group chemistry ^^
I was SO excited when I saw the thumbnail for this reaction! I loved this interview (not just because Drunk!Yeonjun is peak comedy) because it is EXACTLY as you said Steph, "Because I love and I'm invested in BTS, to see them care and invested in someone else, now I want to get invested and see them succeed too!" That is exactly how I felt about TXT when I first was introduced to the group. You should have seen it guys! The lead up to TXT debuting, BTS was so excited that their juniors were about to debut, they were promoting them and talking about them wherever and whenever they could! They (BTS) call them (TXT) "the babies"!! How adorable and wholesome is that?! Argh, I love their dynamic!

since you started learning about bts through run bts and you seem interested in txt maybe it would be fun to watch their own variety show "to do" to get to know them better, or you can always start with their music and mvs 😄 and you can watch bighit's family photoshoot to celebrate 15 years it was just bts and txt and lee hyun, and it was filmed end 2019-beginning 2020 so txt had only been active for less than a year at that time (txt debuted on march 4th, 2019)

I'm txt fan bts and txt interaction are really precious they're like big happy family soobin and rm are close too since they're both the LEADER OF THEIR GROUP soobin say that rm is his role model but he is quite a different kind of leader than others which makes txt stands out to me a lot

You would never think celebrities could teach you stuff like that but the bts members had a huge impact on how I viewed relationships. I had noone to teach me how to be a good friend irl... I learned by watching bts.

BigHit only has Lee Hyun ( soloist), BTS and TXT. Lee was in military service and couldn’t mentor BTS since military service was much longer back then than it is now. BTS shows a lot of support to TXT and they seem to also be very close to Lee Hyun too. Lee did an episode of his show where he was an assistant to BTS for a day, or 2, they seem to have a lot of fun 😊

18:00 BIGHIT MUSIC, the music label- only has bts, txt and one soloist. their parent company HYBE, which has more labels along with bighit music have 1/2 in each as well, so overall hybe has a lot of groups😅
its confusing because technically bighit music started buying other labels since 2018/19 when they were still named "bighit entertainment" so people think all these new groups from diff labels are also bts' juniors😭 they only renamed and revamped the whole thing in 2020/21. so later bighit entertainment seperated their music label side(BIGHIT MUSIC) and then renamed the company to HYBE who only do the managing/financial side of ALL LABELS under them. the music label themselves are responsible for the music prod and making for their resp groups.
I'd love for you to check out the Suchwita with Seventeen's Woozi (aka Sugas long lost twin) It's great how passionate these two are about music production specifically. His episode with Seventeen's Hoshi is cute too

TxT is an amazing group! Their music is very different from BTS, equally enjoyable! The jurassic one is Sugar Rush Ride mv! Try watching that one and Chasing That Feeling, Back For More, 0x1= Lovesong which is cowritten by Namjoon! There are also compilations of their relationship, there is the latest one by MOAMOL, TxT being closer to their hyungs than ever 😊

Im a singer and I like to think that there are born singers and trained singers. Born singers kinda just know how to sing but know the musical terms yet. Trained singers is kinda self-explanatory, literally taught how to sing. There were a few people in my choir class that came in saying they couldn’t sing, and by the end of it, they came into their own type of singing. 31:18

I will highly highly recommend checking out TXT!! Their discography is amazing, they're all comedians so their variety shows are great too!! All 5 members are super talented and love BTS a lot!! I don't even have a bias because I love all 5 of them equally!! ❤
