  • No plot here, just a situation. Krazy Kat pretends to be John Phillip Sousa as he conducts in the park's bandstand. Lots of cartoony gags (dare I say "Fleischer-esque?") plus later tributes to various band leaders and celebrities. Early sound cartoon fun for everyone!

    A favorite of mine from the early sound era. So much to love. Not to discredit you, but I think the correct title design would’ve been the one seen in TAKEN FOR A RIDE and THE APACHE KID (this was the first release of the second season of Krazy Kats)

      Interesting note on the title card. I came across that graphic when I was doing a google search for info on this cartoon. It was released within a month of "The Apache Kids" so you very well might be correct about this! We can always cherish that SAMBA TV title card, though...
