Hi London boy enjoying your layed back style ..just a little heads up as I've heard you mention it a couple of times. The lack of bins (trash cans ) in London is because in the 70's and early 80's especially during the troubles in Ireland lots of bombs and parcel bombs were left in these bins and caused havok lots in central London especially near heritage sites and important buildings were removed for safety reasons, and more manual street cleaning employed..have fun..x
The Necropolis is also the cemetery you see in The Batman. In the final scene. The Bridge Of Sighs and the cathedral were also used. Glasgow has featured in a few big movies. The opening chaos in World War Z is prominent and all Glasgow. The new Indiana Jones is also partly filmed there 😉
You two are cool. This was weird for me in a good way. I saw my home and you covered all the places I've been this past week... you were definitely on my patch 😂 I'll binge the rest of your tour tomorrow.
I was watching this video because I'm going to Glasgow next month, and wanted a taster of what to do. Ended up watching all your videos, so far. You guys are hilarious. Keep up the good work. 😀👍.
I have no idea why UA-cam's algorithm suggested your London video to me? But hey I watched it then followed by the rest of your vids on the trip. Looks like you've enjoyed it 😀 👍
Looks like you two had fun. Drank Irn Bru and got rained on - the true scottish experience. To the dour faces in the comments saying "don't take the piss out of the accent". geez a break. Take the piss as much as you like, and then expect some back in return. It's all in good fun. Space Gurrels!
Went to School at the other side of the Botanic Gardens, an interesting point you may not have known - there is a Railway Station under the ground at the points you were walking in the Botanic Gardens. No longer a Service Line for Trains. It closed in February 1939. Regards
Wish I would have known that, apparently there is also a tour you can take at central station that is supposed to be incredible. Didn’t have time this trip but just tacking it on to the list during our next visit.
I enjoyed your video, you should watch the Irn Brew videos, especially the Fanny advert, they are all very good and Scots look forward to when a new one will appear.

A drink called Iron Brew was first made in New York in the late 1800s. It was recreated around the world, including in Scotland, where it was marketed as Irnbru. While not exactly the same drink, the Scottish version was inspired by the American drink.

People say that when you visit the UK, London does not represent the whole of the UK, and that you should travel the country, and see all there is to see. This is of course true. There are many other places here worth visiting. But with London having so much to offer, other places can be sometimes underwhelming in comparison. I can’t remember the exact quote, but it’s something like...”When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life”.....Happy Travels !!! 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
I soooo wish we would have had time to travel outside of the big city more. We are already planning our next return trip and will definitely rent a car so we can do so! There are still so many cities we want to visit😻
One of the mistakes most Americans and Aussies make is to try to visit too many places and they don’t really experience any of them. I think you got the balance just right.
I'm sure if we were here for long term we would. Public transport is much more robust in the UK than pretty much anywhere in the states, NYC subway system would be the closest. So just much more walking than driving. But the United States is 40 times larger than the UK, so, a bit harder to not have driving as the main options, things are just more spread out by design.
