Ringo used to be the narrator for Thomas and friends XD
He was the Chosen One (they were mesmerized by his majestic nose :3)
He narrated my childhood then.
really
I know he was the first ever narrator for TTTE and my favorite
Actually he was the Narrator of THOMAS AND FREINDS after the Beetles
Pretty sure the drugs started around Rubber Soul or Revolver, but yeah, Sgt. Pepper is the most notable in that regard.
Rubber Soul was the weed album
Dude that was really well done!
First
Infinity War YOU AINT THE FIRST MARVEL MOVIE SHUT IT

Bruhhh
Just a quick correction to your video. The pop/weird (read awesome) divide is probably Rubber Soul or Revolver (a few years before Sgt Pepper). Tomorrow Never Knows is, for me, the most obvious point of departure.
Also, Yoko didn't break the band up. She was a symptom, not a cause of John's increasing disillusionment and alienation from the band.
+tmage 23
Yep, Tomorrow Never Knows was a magnificent leap into the unknown. I Feel Fine was less than two years before it - that's astonishing progress. We'll never see their like again - unfortunately.
Or should that be Tomorrow Never Nose? God, I'm funny...
tmage23 an observation of mine is that there first phycadellia song is i need you on help (just listan to that bass)
+Alexander Loves Women same
The nose thing was just a joke and a good ending line. Of course i know Ringo has done more :P
I used to listen to his solo stuff more than any other beatle. Choose Love, It Don't Come Easy, etc etc.
I was just making satire on the fact that he had the least mainstream solo career of all 4 of them.
Hello from the future 2013 footofaferret!
Is it true that the ears and nose never stop growing? Ringo's nose probably got BIGGER if this is true...
Rocio Lopez It’s still growing bigger and bigger
I just came here after watching a Brief History of afootofaferret and it's nifty to know the background details of how you made your first A Brief History video. Keep up the good work man!
But Georges solo career): All Things Must Pass is one of my favorite albums of all time
Aw thank you! That means a lot!
And your work is brilliant, btw :)
But you created it
@@aesthetic_coconut_is_here it's a pre-thread era comment.
ah, i like how you picked up the pace from this one as you go along. good beginning, and i see how you are growing.
so entertained!!
Dude i like your brief history of stuff so....keep it up man :)
Can you please do an updated version of this video. I have been wanting it for years
Wow, I know I had a cold when I recorded this, but jeez I sound like I'm half asleep
Hell yeah! This is what I was looking for! You sir, have gained a subscriber!
Just watched your video on Tyler Oakley and i really liked it, definitely subscribing!
Thank you for teaching me about one of my favorite bands now!
Thank you so much!
you consider revolver simple catchy pop music? eleanor rigby? come on bruhhh
no, he was talking about help mostly.
Congrats Ryder, 100,000 subs
I just found you off smosh's homepage [btw, congrats!!!] and you are cool. like, really, really cool.
The best band ever
Agreed. What was your favorite song? Mine was either Michelle, or Blackbird.
Crimson Graphite Hard to say, as a kid it was Yellow Submarine but now I think it is Yesterday of Hey Jude, but I like so many.
***** True. How many songs/albums are there?
oh man I can play black bird on my guitar if u do t belive me I'll send u a video
No, I'll believe you. I can play several songs on flute.
I think Harrison's solo music was a little better than Lennon's
Imagine if you were right
what are you dooooing heeeeere at AAAAALL?
Both were brilliant!!!
One word imagine
Hey! I'm in a video what in the hell is American Idol?
***** Sounds stupid
HAVE MY BABIES ;-;
John The Eggman Lennon we meet again John...
PAUL HAVING A VIETNAM FLASHBACK I love your profile and your name XDDD
Ringo Starr was part of Thomas and Friends. And The Beatles
+Blueyoshiaj Entertainment the first thing sucks but the second is AWESOME
It is is a meme, so it's expected for someone to say.
Seriously tough, there are people who never heard even one of their song before? But but but but.. The Beatles is huge! :O
(I really didn't think would see Phil in this video, but he just appeared out of nowhere. Hahahaha!)
Uhhhh, Ringo's ALL Starr Band still tours occasionally and he sold a boatload of solo LPs with many top ten hits. So much for the interweb.
Harrison had the best solo work in my opinion !!
So true.
he absolutely did! and he was a much nicer man than John
Harrison was the main driver of their Indian/eastern influenced music, use of sitar etc. Some of their most musically interesting sound would not have been were it not for George
I like George's solo career the best out of any Beatle.
not really. john definitely had the better solo work.
It'd be amazing if this guy redid this episode, making it way longer. He has 20 minute videos now, and The Beatles have so much more history behind them.
The thing about Ringo at the end was a joke, people xD Please don't hate me
Damn I love a brief history!
Pretty good video! You forgot to talk about the Anthology project, but other than that, it was great!
I am so super fucking SHOOK! I wanted to know a little bit more about the Beatles and I thought of those “A brief History” videos that idk you’re kinda KNOWN FOR NOW and this was your FIRST ONE?! Of all the things I searched up it was your 1st one?! Im shooook
This...this is why I subscribed.
They Were Following Their Dream. What was the music you used in the background?
And thus the Brief History Content was Born
whoa whoa whoA WHOA WHOA
SORRY SIR BUT
GEORGE HARRISON'S SOLO CAREER > JOHN LENNON'S SOLO CAREER
I agree, I love them both so much but George made better songs (solo)
george does have better songs, but john was more commercially succesful
seriously. all things must pass is probably the best post beatles solo album
Indeed
I personally think Paul had the best solo career. He made so many hits and made so many great and legendary songs
Ringo has also had a good solo career, and he still tours with other great musicians from different bands united in the All Starr Band.
Ooh I'd like to see a less-brief remake of this...
Thumbs up man good video
Happy 10 years! :DDD
WOW first brief history video
Anyone come back because of his recent video?
Me?
I did
me
Aw, thank you :)
*0:00**: a legend was born*
I love this!!! Keep it up :D Also, weren't the Beatles originally called the Quarrymen?
this was such a good video...
and then they referenced drugs. Im presonally fine with this i was just gonna use it for my presintation in band lol
(no hate it was an awesome video that summed up the video really well)
I always wanted to see them live. I say only seeing ringo live was still awesome
I saw Paul live yesterday and I wish I had been able to see the four of them live...
and then the legend is born
It is sad there are some people that don't know about the Beatles.
But then again I'm a diehard Beatles fan
whats your faviorte beatles album
I love how I'm watching a brief history on Danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil and my favourite band comes up. XD
And a legend was born
Why the hell is there 26 full seconds of "FootoFerret" at the end?
The whole video may as well be his logo. There's almost no history explained here, even though they're some of the most influential artists in history.
You could call it....
A BRIEF HISTORY
you deserve so many more subs and video views...
Hahahah I love your videos !!!
*Cool as cold stuff.*
I'm a huge Beatles fan!!
All I wanted to do from the beginning was complain how bad this was and how you didn't cover much... But after watching it a second time I realized... No one can cover the Beatles in that short of an amount of time. My dad could talk for hours covering them. I think you did a good job all in all!
Can you do one of these on graveyard girl?
Today a legend was born
Keep making these videos Ryder u could get more subscribers like Philly d or smething very good job man
the beatles are both my favourite band and my favourite people.
This is my favorite one.
Song?
Can you do Onision? Plezzz
I love how he mentions the noses!
Well, i´ve learned more here that in every documentary, and yes i know the beatles but i wanted to know more
I think you should do one on the beach boys, the doors, or Johnny cash! That would be really cool
Technically the first Beatles album to have a different sound from the catchy pop sings was Rubber Soul, although Revolver was really the album that changed the sound.
I remember watching this in school😂😂😂 me and my friend wouldn't stop laughing😂😂
still one of my favourite band
I don't think Yooko Ono had anything to do with the Beatles breaking up, but great vid!
I've basically have listened to the Beatles since birth.
Where new episode of "a brief history"?
And it starts
I love how there is absolutely no context in this video, it’s just, this happens than this happens and now the videos over
I'm a huge Beatle fan!
But not as big as Ringo's nose.
ohblossomseoul Paul is my senpai
Good Video
ringo also is making....arrrrrrrrttttttttt.... ok it's basically microsoft paint gone wild but still pretty worth checking out
I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the Beatles are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
some minor errors with this video.. The Beatles showed signs of departing from their 'poppy love songs' in their album Help! Then, Rubber Soul was completely different along with Revolver.
Where is the Phandom? Sorry I had to ask this question since I saw Phil
Awesome video! What about the ships though? LOL I guess there's only a small percentage of people [myself included] who ship McLennon and Starrison.. John and Paul had chemistry! *fangirl squeal*
Pls remade this ;(
Can you do "A Brief History Of Queen?"
What about one of Queen?
ringo did thomas and friends
Brief history of ELO (Electric Light Orchestra)! a very beatle esque band, everybody knows songs by them but never know the band.
So when are we getting history of Queen....
0:45 I can’t stop laughing help
Hey ryder.......im watching your first abh...
I don't know that much about the beatles but with what i do know that was hilarious
🐐
i get to see paul in a little over a week in his new tour
Rubber Soul came out in 1965 and Revolver came out in 1966, each before Sgt. Peppers, which came out in 1967. These two albums are definitely not pop music. Yoko Ono was also not the cause of the breakup, despite the beliefs of many people.. Sir Paul McCartney is quoted as saying “She certainly didn’t break the group up. I don’t think you can blame her for anything,” in an interview, which on the Al Jazeera English TV channel in November. He also mentioned that John Lennon was “definitely going to leave.” Other than that, your information was correct. Thank you for such a great video!
P.S. This comment is not, in any way, a form of aggression to anyone, especially not the content creator. I just wanted to provide some clarification.
Octopus's Garden counts as a Beatles song right? Right?
I was told only technically.
2019?
I love the Beatles
I can't believe this is 7 Years Old! God I feel old and I'm 12 Years Old.
The first one!!!! I found it!
