- i've been playing a lot of osu! recently and i was able to achieve top 100,000 worldwide (5 digit) in under 3 months of playing. i enjoy this game a lot, so i thought i would fill you in with what i've been doing and document my progression to share it all with you. hope you enjoy this video!

I became 5 digits after 400, almost 500 hours of gameplay
I'm rank 110k ish at 500 hours, enjoying the game is priority number 1.
im currently at 35k with around 460 hours, everyone improves at their own rate. dont worry about it
400 hours and i’m 19k but my skillset isn’t that diverse. rank doesn’t mean anything, i can farm past my friends all day but they’re overall more skilled then i am

I got 5 digit in early 2018 then quit standard completely in favor of taiko and decayed to 190k lol. Started playing standard again around 3 months ago and got to 60k. Feels refreshing :D
just to let you know Harumachi and Padoru have the same vibes, you avoided one dark path but walked on another one, it's the same thing
on a side note that's a really fast improvement i'd say XD
looks like the dark path is just unavoidable lol
Despite being a 6 digit who has also been playing for 3 months, I still recommend learning how to burst because apparently, it will help prevent bad habits in your muscle memory in the future. I enjoy the content, keep it up!

I was also having a fast improving time before I switched to tablet... Now I'm faster improving but still behind my previous self. It is maybe because I switched hand because I'm left handed

i found myself enjoying the game the most when i played random oddball maps - improving all around. now i am pretty close to 5 digit (im like 130k or so) and witf 300 hours in the game i can say that i have enjoyed every moment!

I am a 6 digit (470k) and I'm trying to grind for 5 digits but with my nerves and horrible aim It hasn't been the easiest for me. What I'm getting at here is that this is very impressive what you've done in the time of 3 months. Nice job!
How long do you grind is the question you should ask
For example this person in just 2 months (6200 plays on October and 6000 on November) played more maps than you or most average players do in Six months or even an entire year.
Do you see the difference now?

Damn, as a rank 11k player i have friends who have been playing for 2 years that are still 6 digits and I wish there was a way I could convince them to play the game like this to try to improve more so they enjoy it more, but they get discouraged by doing poorly and i know exactly how they feel since ive been the same rank for like 6 months +
I'm kind of in a similar situation lol, I also have friends who play that haven't devoted as much time as me, but we usually play 3 star maps together and it's still really fun
try getting above 97% acc consitently on those maps and you´'ll improve a lot, congrats on 5dig

In 20 years it’s gonna be like “How I hit 6 digit in 2 years”
It’s better to develop skills rather than resort to DT farming, I know this from experience... (RKWDreams on osu btw)
Play DT if the map is too slow, play HR if the notes are too easy to hit, play HD if the notes appear too fast.
Notes that have a lot of fast notes in a row is called a stream, which is good for speed and stamina for flow aim, which is smooth, consistent aim.
Notes that are a little slower but have spread that are harder to hit, called jumps, which build speed and stamina in sharper aim.
Streams build consistency because they’re longer and less random, while jumps are better for separating bursts because of the note reading required.
Just a quick simple guide for 2 main playstyles :)
You should learn triple. i saw your not that good at triple yet, try ant alternate your finger and get good on finger control.
thanks for the recommendation! about triple tapping, I think the maps that I showcased I single tapped the triples since they were kind of slow, but when I do encounter triple taps I make sure to alternate. I do need to work on finger control though!

For me farming made me way better, helped me learn quick triples, alternating, high bpm, and improved my aim a lot which helped me play other maps.
When ive been playing for almost a year im only rank 300k lol

It doesn’t matter how many years u play really if u play the same way u played 7 days and 12 hours in 3 months that’s how long most ppl play in half a year or even a urar
It took him 3 months to hit 5 digit. It took me 4.5 months to get C's and B's on 4 star maps
Honestly many 6 digit players are so good they easily desereved to be 5 or some even 4 digit, the only thing stopping them is that they don't farm. I improve very quickly at osu and i'm currently improving my accuracy a lot. My high point is being very good at streams wich i'm very proud of 😌 and still It's crazy to see how my rank jumps when i take some time to farm 💀💀💀of course when i don't farm i get good raking, but doesn't give much pp 💀 the difference is crazy 💀💀
I personally don't hate this way of ranking up, also i enjoy jump maps a lot. When i discovered harumachi clover i got mesmerized and it probably was the first time i felt like playing actual osu lol i was very bad at the time.
I think it's nice to do a good balance between the maps you like and the farm maps.

yooo you've improved way faster than me also I suggest you learn hidden at this point it's literally free pp once you get used to it it doesn't necessarily make the map harder, but also don't spam it too much cuz you might get reliant to the mod and can't play without it congrats btw

dang, I am following that path but I haven't reached that final step O _ O
I've spent around 1d and 18 hours, but at least 24 hours of that was wasted because I switched to tablet. It completely destroyed my performance, and I still kinda regret it to this day.

I just recently started to play osu! more often after not for a couple months, worth noting that before those months I had only been playing the default maps somewhat terribly and not improving my rank nor pp. But it's really fun! I just got into top 2 mil after a day or two and I'm really enjoying the time I spend playing. It's nice to see others progress and you now have a new subscriber! Lookin' forward to new videos by someone with somewhat similar interests. :D

Skill farm dt and start with a large goal. Most people take a little while for 5 digits because they don't play seriously until it's too late.

Try playing some tech or finger control maps, they are a complete nightmare to play but will help you alot in the future (trust me, im a 6 digit)

I became a 6 digit in a month. I realized something, I’m wasting my life away at a circle game and therefore lied at my parents that I needed a tablet to draw when in truth I couldn’t and only needed it for the game.

I have about average or even beter than average playtime compared to my rank, hell, 2% of ALL my plays are on Horrible kids and Marshmary.
Take from that what you will. but I have an average of 1 hour per day which I think is pretty normal.
