I never went back and finished my degree, God directed my path elsewhere, but I'm not complaining. His plans are greater than mine. I'm sure you've been told...but, sometimes a stranger saying it sounds different... I'm proud of you for chasing your dream and not letting others tell you you can't! You go girl!

And yes, the system does not help to get out. I call it “the ditch”. The area where someone is trying to better themselves, but makes to much to get help, and to little to actually thrive.
My mom was a single mom. She was hearing impaired and struggled to make it. She did get her degree and a couple certificates, but never made it out of “the ditch”.

Hello good morning I just found your video I have to say that I was really impressed and very happy to find you I woke up this morning not feeling like I wanted to decorate so i sat down and wanted to watch UA-cam and get inspired but all of the new decor was so plain no color nooo !! lots of pink lots of yellow turquoise purple you name it wasn’t found it was more dull plain neutral to match the white kitchen not that there’s something wrong with WHITE kitchen because I have a white kitchen but in holidays we tend to wanna decorate the white with so much color and warmth and this year I could not find it and I looked for about 40 minutes until finally I found yours and I have to say I’m glad I found you I was inspired with all the pink and other colors a matching holiday was in your home today and I’m glad again I’ll say that I found you!!! you have motivated me today again thank you and happy Easter and be safe and sending lots of pink hugs and kisses🎀🧁🎀🧁🎀🧁

As usual, your decor is amazing! I am always inspired by your creativity. My story is similar to yours as I had my daughter when I was 20, a single mother and definitely living on a prayer. Statistically, we weren’t supposed to make it but we did-my daughter is newly married now and recently graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology. Shes married to a wonderful man but my dream for her was to get her education so she would never find herself in the position I was in. You will definitely inspire others as your decor does. Hi! I wasn't on UA-cam at the time, so I don't have a video, I'm sorry. But, I can share that I found a faux fireplace on Facebook marketplace. I painted it white then did a "German Schmear" on the brick part. I then bought an electronic fireplace insert from Amazon. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer the best I can! 💗 I found some helpful UA-cam videos.
