You fail and then create a beauty! The struggle is real. Other artists make it look so easy but as a fellow pourer know that it takes a lot to get the final piece. Well done. Love the colour combinations x
The most beautiful. Watching you is so inspirational. To watch you improve something you do not like, is so encouraging, especially to one new at this art.
That's very kind of you to say, Lois! I think for me at least, it helps to not hold on too tightly to the original idea for the pour...and just go with what it gives you. Easier said than done! lol!😂🙏❤️
Thanks so much for explaining your recipe and about the rating of chroma and lightfastness. It’s very helpful! Since I am an artist and not very fastidious in details and measurements I felt you are so relaxed and relatable. 😊
Thank you, Lisa and thanks so much for watching! Yeah, me too...if I had to measure or weigh everything, that would take the fun out of it for me! lol! ❤️🙏❤️
Beautiful ! Dyu know what you are after? Or are you watching to see what comes out like we are? Thanks for sharing your beauty, food for the soul 😍🌈💕🌅🌈🎉💕
Thank you, Lynn! Some of both...sometimes I have an image in my head that I'm going for and other times, I'm just messing around to see what happens! lol!
@Rhonda Miller hahaha...there are more fails than wins but we don't usually post all the failures. But, if we can learn from our mistakes, they have value.😊🙏❤️
I just discovered you thru Collab with Tara and DJ. So glad. I love what you do, the imaginative presentations, and tips and tricks. Than you.😍🥰😻 When I watch sometimes, the music is so relaxing, I tend to fall asleep. But, I can always pick back up. Thanks for the great music too.
Thank you, Linda and thanks so much for your kind words! Dave and Tara are good people and I really enjoyed the collaboration with them! Thanks so much for being here! ❤️🙏❤️
Wie heißt der Gebläsestift den Du benutzt? Es ist ja fantastisch geworden und die Farben traumhaft schön. Danke das Du dein Können mit uns teilst 🌹❤️🙏🌺🤗
I'm really enjoying your work. I paint an starting some photos. What a great way to find your pallet. I think I will try pulling my colors from my photos as welll.
I really like your pours.. just a suggestion.... to get the affects I think you might be looking for... try air blowing the outside paint onto your pour colors and then air blow out from the middle or edges. That way when you air blow out your colors will be more vibrant and less faded or lost. Keep up the great work!!!
So wonderful to watch your process. I realized I’m not using enough paint because of that. Please please please tell me what kind of hair blower you are using?
You do great flowy art❤Which material you use for base . All say canvas but that is sheet below that stif material we use,, is that a plywood piece I'm confused😵 please help me
At time stamp 22:00 you had a lovely meadow look with hills and mountains in the background , I was amazed how it just appeared and all the blue running through the bottom looking like a potential stream, and then you nukes it with the hairdryer lol , it’s not mine or never will be mine yet I was gutted lol “isn’t it amazing how this thing gets to you lol , turned out nice so well done 👍
I feel your pain and have thought the same thing sometimes as soon as I make a change....instant regret. The whole painting thing for me is a healing process and sometimes, I need to keep going. Hopefully, I don't "nuke" all of them for you! lol!
Harmony House Art , not too dissimilar on my side, I gave up my unit “ epoxy resin countertops and the odd art, because of the covid clampdown, built a 24/12 workshop in my garden, just finished it and spent 6 weeks without virtually leaving the house “in workshop” then went down with covid... spent a month in a coma on 100% ventilation , then they put in a trachy then got sepsis and ended up in hospital for 3 months, worked out and did Kungfu for 10 years and lost 5 stone of muscle , was airlifted 400-500 miles away so saw no family due to the covid conditions , just getting off oxygen so had to knock resin and carpentry on the head “temporarily” I hope so invested in acrylic and I’m like the mad scientist up there trying to get the mix and consistency right , using all the main culprits like gac 800 minwax and all the others and I’m slowly but surely getting there , sorry about the long winded explanation but you see my point lol.
@ragz ragz Understandable but sounds like you're on the mend and have a new workspace so that's amazing! Paint pouring for me has been a life saver- it heals the mind and feeds the soul. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do and best wishes with your creations!!! ❤️🙏❤️
Just came across your channel and subscribed...love your workmanship and the colors are breathtaking, and so interesting to watch as they intertwine and mix together. I've been researching this artistic craft, and have been researching products. I was interested to know how is "glitter paint additive" used🤔? Is it sprinkled onto the paint surface after the paint has formed,or is it added into the pain itself prior to painting? Thx in advance I look forward for any response, and I shall continue to watch.
@@beatrizbanuelos6408 I found mine on the internet. It is from "Funtime Gifts LTD". I think there is a smaller one but I do not have it. This one does work well.
Thank you, Louise and thanks so much for watching!!! Often I pre-paint the sides so I don't have to worry about them being covered and sometimes, I tape them to keep them pristine =)
Hi Brian, yes you do. Most acrylic paints are too thick to use straight from the tube or bottle. If you're just starting out, the least expensive alternative might be Flood Floetrol (it's not a true pouring medium but is a paint extender). It's $13.97 a gallon at Lowe's.
@Brian Perry The ratio will depend on what brand paint you use- better paints are thicker with less water, etc and usually come in tubes. Those will take more Floetrol than the cheaper, craft paints that have a thinner consistency to begin with. Trial and error until you find what works for you! 😊
My acrylic paint is thick it doesn’t pour how did yours get so thin? Also what type of blowdryer do you use?the one I have blows my paint all over the place on low.
Thanks for watching, Desiree! I add US Floetrol to make the paints move more easily and just use a small, travel size hair dryer. The hair dryer is not currently available on Amazon but is offered on their website: www.instyler.com/products/mini-travel-dryer
Thank you, Vinitha!!! I'm not quite sure what you're asking...I'm using stretched canvases for most of my paintings but also love the cradled wood panels.❤️🙏❤️
At some point you need to know when to stop and walk away! You started well, but you had to overdue it and basically killed the painting by making a mish mash of busy colors with no design sense and no composition. There must be much more than just mixing and pouring colors.

Hi Lisa. Lovely. Was your blower on Low the whole time ?
Yes, Willie! It's small but mighty so I always keep it on low so I have some small amount of control! 😊

Ok ok. Understand. Waitin for mine to come in the mail. Your work is so nice Lisa.
incredible using so few colors.. Are you using a tiny dryer or another type of instrument?

Any silicone for cells?
