I really like to thank you. Over a year ago, I suffered from depression, my 18yr marriage ended, my sister was murdered and I my father left for dead.I didn't want to leave my house. Worst of all, I shut down, causing my hurts and doubts poured out, unto my 3 wonderful children. I began watching Uttube cvarious artists, but it was something about your art that helped me. I saw beauty again, not just your art in me again. You, as well as a few others, gave me back my passion. To get up and live. The beauty you carry within shows in your artwork. This is a powerful story. I understand the grief, sorrowing, and the healing power of art. I hope you are healing - I lost my husband of 53 years suddenly during COVID (not Covid) the shock lasted so long. I watched so much youtube, now, I'm finally back somewhat to being creative. I absolutely want to try these, I'm learning techniques and buying the supplies. I would be honored to keep you in my prayers as you heal Pamela. You inspire me to do more with my art.

I’m so in love with the first bloom. I cant stop looking at it. I’m going to try something similar with red, gun metal grey and silver on a black base. I only hope mine turns out half as pretty. It’s mesmerising. They’re all gorgeous but as someone with a love flowers that one just sings to my heart.

Thank you, Caroline! I was curious as to how the very thin satin enamel would act with the thicker bloom paints on top. The bloom paints are much harder to control on the thin, satin enamel base but also have a much lighter and more free look to them. 😁

As a watercolor and acrylic artist, I love painting flowers. Now, I am trying this pouring medium. I love your work and the blooms. I am struggling with both the base and pillow paint. I am using flowtrol and it's expensive. I am trying different house paints and still getting large white cells. I don't like or want them. Please could you help me with the pouring mix for both bloom and base paints. What do you use and how you mix it. Thank you so much.

Thank you! Dry time depends on your local weather and the size of the canvas. Acrylic paint dries much faster in warmer weather.
Your videos are amazing .. I have seen so many videos but your videos are very helpful with details of the products that you used . For a beginner like me it can be really helpful . I was able to find everything can you share which brand tintable primer base c do you use ?

Both! Some people don't love the extra shine of resin so I varnish those paintings. ❤️

Are your paints as thick as they look? Seems like everything doesn’t dry smooth.
Don’t get me wrong, they are beautiful! Just a little lumpy. Does it work the same if you thin the paint down? I’d want it smooth.
Yes, especially the bloom technique uses thicker paints which are by nature lumpier.

Thank you, Irina! A lot depends on the paint brand you're using, but typically I use 1 part paint, 1 part medim and then check the consistency. Add the water just a few drops at a time until it feels right. The amount of water will vary for each color even when using the same brand.

No, they are available in the US but not so much in other countries. I think most artist from other countries use PVA glue and water. Hope that helps!
