I've made Ethel 3 times and stuffed up on the armhole facings each time - I get a way with it but I'm not happy with it. Your tutorial has sorted that out fantastically, thank you.

Just finished my 1st Ethel top following your excellent tutorial. My fabric was a cotton lawn Dobbie with subtle self stripe. A bit hard to match up, but the plain colour helped. I do have some ramie in my stash (sorry Lander pants) --- Thanks so much.
This is a really good sewalong - thank you. The final top looks good but utterly hugely oversized, and probably would drown my petite frame. I guess I could size down a couple of times and maybe trim some of the panels also. Hmm
Yes absolutely, you could size down. Please take a look at this pattern on Minerva, and you'll see lots of versions made by the sewing community to get a feel of how it fits/sizing on different body shapes and suzes. Thanks for watching 😊

I seem to be not getting my correct size....
You don’t discuss sizing in this video. Is it one size for most? How do you select the correct size?
What pattern is the white top you're wearing?
I was taught to always press the fabric before cutting out. Something sewers don't bother to do any more

i hate style arc, junk pattern that never fit and no instructions. biggest waste of money and time on any patterns ever. and i was dumb enough to try out 5 of them thinking each time it was just that pattern.
