- This sewing tutorial takes you through Style Arc's Teddy Designer Top, focusing on the collar and neckline construction. Our Teddy Designer Top is a very fashionable pattern that has been loved by all, hopefully this tutorial will entice others to give it a go! You can find this patttern at www.stylearc.com. This uniquely crafted design comes in two lengths - top or tunic. The gorgeous collar sits high on the neck. The stitched facings and swing back with a high-low hemline give this style a luxe look. Make the top to give your look an instant update or make the tunic for a more effortless silhouette.

7:05 "a cm in" is that mentioned in the instructions or diagram in the pattern because that seems like a pretty crucial step?
Just bought the Teddy so thanks 🙏 for this tutorial .
🇬🇧
This is an excellent demo. Thx
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for making this tutorial. I would have been very frustrated with this neckline!
Please please please do a tutorial on the Petra Coat. Thank you.
I love the shirt. It's so cute. I also love your machines - they really purr along and sew so fast! If I make this I will defintely refer to this tutorial!

Thank you ladies, this is very helpful! Karen R
I have just bought this pattern and I'm so glad this tutorial is here as the instructions on the pattern are not very detailed.. Looking forward to trying it now Thankyou
I wish I'd found this before I made my Toni dress. The neck is so similar, this would have been a big help. Thank you. Will make another one now, lol.
Brilliant tutorial, thank you :D
In the pattern instructions it says to sew the front centre seams on the front and the facings before putting collar in but the diagrams show that the collar goes in first....as shown on this video. No wonder people struggle with it. I do wish style arc would quality check their instructions...so many have errors or omissions ...I do live the styles and buy lots of them but always finding issues
@@helengamble7553 I've sewn loads of StyleArc patterns and have never noticed any errors.
@@user-ff2sj5zv8v lots of people have spotted errors and omissions...if you've got this teddy top diagrams and written instructions contradict. A lovely dress pattern missed out the instruction to join bodice to skirt... fairly obvious what to do but good example of omission. I've made loads and love the designs but there are issues
I love it with linen Fabric !! thanks, I am going to visit your site ans buy this Pattern !!

I'm giving it a go. My pattern just arrived to me here in Nashville Tennessee. Next are the yoga pants.
It helped a lot. Thnx so much
Glad it helped!
Awesome! Neat!
Are both collar pieces interfaced? And if so with what?
Great tutorial! Thanks👍
Great video and I,m thinking of making this but please! The background noise makes it very difficult to hear, especially for people with hearing difficulties
You can choose to mute the video to limit the distraction
Nice again for my figure
Instructions with printed pattern are completely different, why not include this far superior construction method on single A4 or a link to the video.
We are in the process of updating construction notes. Thanks for your feedback. We are glad that you found the video useful.
Won’t be doing this one. Too fiddly.
