There was so much going on around our hotel GROSVENER HOUSE SUITES by JUMEIRAH LIVING on Park Lane - it is a perfect spot for a proper food adventure.

It's great to see young Emirati people help breakdown the stereotypes some westerners have of Middle Eastern people. I'm showing Peyman videos to all my friends who refuse to go to Middle East for a vacation. I visited Dubai recently and I loved every minute of it. The best food in the World, better than London.
I"m an American who moved to London in '98 and became a UK citizen in '04. The London food you must try is jellied eels available in the east end near Aldgate Tube Station. BTW, I lived in the UAE, Abu Dhabi, for five years ending 2015 and miss it.

Hi new subscriber here. The London Bridge nursery rhyme I remember singing and playing the game at primary school. The rhyme I was told is based on when the king gave to his queen the money that was designated for the upkeep of London Bridge. She of course is the ‘My Fair Lady’. The song is saying to her the Bridge needs maintenance and can the money be returned and used for its original purpose.
The actual nursery rhyme has many verses deliberating on how to ‘build it up’
Example: ‘Build it up with sticks and stones . . . Sticks and stones will wash away. . .’
The high tea is in when during industrial revolution no time for afternoon tea as work day ended later so we have high tea or supper. We still call mealtime at about 5pm teatime.

The London Bridge rhyme is similar to 'Ring a Ring o'Roses' In that English children's rhymes of old had a meaning based in a reality, usually based in the past but sometimes over lapping the present. The 'Ring a Ring o'Roses' refers to the Plague which devastated Europe and then Britain in the Middle Ages. Today these Rhymes are taught from an early age to remind us of the history, like in WW2 'Lest (unless) we forget.' I was exhilarated by the weather was smiling a stranger heard me praising the weather , got quite crossed at me for he thought I was being sarcastic. ...not knowing for us back in Dubai if it is cold and raining we take a day off... picnic no work no school . yahoo. Peyman I am a big fan of yours and your videos get regular thumbs up. 👍 A lot of people have asked the same question again and again. But its disappointing that you didn't reply any of them. Its about the halal status of the food in your US, Mexican, Thai or UK videos. Being a subscriber I regularly read the comments section and i can tell that hundreds if not thousands of people asked you if the chicken, beef or place you are eating at is halal or not? But I don't see any reply against those comments. Its disappointing bro. We are sincerely supporting you by following your channel and subscribing to it. I really love your videos. Respect you a lot. You certainly put a lot of efforts in creating such a nice content. We all appreciate it. Many of your subscribers and viewers are muslims or from muslim countries. And i think being a muslim subscriber we have a right to ask our muslim brother if the place he is eating at is halal or not. We never mind if its halal or not. But if its halal then a lot of muslim brothers and sisters can visit the same places and enjoy the food over there. But if its not halal then I don't recommend any muslim to go there. Just my personal opinion. If you reply, I hope everyone can benefit from it. I also know that Ruya restaurant in which you had dinner is Turkish cuisine and its sure shot halal food. Pork is certainly non existent there :-) But the salted beef in this video was halal or not? Was it from a halal vendor? :-) please reply so that many of your muslim subscribers can also visit the same places and follow your footprints:-) On the other side it was disturbing to watch that you had dinner at POK POK Thai restaurant NY Brooklyn. They do serve vegetarian but they are certainly not halal because they serve pork as well. Restaurants and kitchens preparing pork dishes can't be trusted even if they serve vegetarian dishes(vegetarian cuisine also contains alcoholic wine). Best not to eat there. Last but not the least. Do you care about the source of gelatin or shortenings used in baked products in non muslim counties? Non muslims use alcoholic liquor, pig gelatin and pig lard in many bakery products you will find on earth :-) In china non halal bread and noodles are also not safe to eat because many producers add pig skin powder/pig fat or pork flavor in it. Here Pig aka pork is cheap as hell. Retails about only 0.75 US Dollar cents per 500 grams. Whereas beef retails at 3.8 to 4 US dollar per 500 grams. This is the reason whole world eats pork and pork is the most favorite meat for restaurants and commercial producers of processed food :-) Best is to read the ingredients list which is always mentioned in chinese. English is non existent on ingredients list :-) and you never know about the production line :-) by the way I love Dubai palm Atlantis saffron restaurant Tuesday night seafood buffet dinner. I hope you can do a comprehensive review on it. Best wishes from China.

Back in the olden days during the time of the ships, London Bridge would constantly open & shut for ships which sometimes caused accidents like a London bus got stuck between the two parts while opening with passengers inside, you might find a whole lot of history behind it on google, I presume the song has some of these moments to it.
