Please don't cut toward your body. It causes the rotary cutter to lose correct grip, and that's when the blade can jump and cut you. Your fabric is lovely.

Are you asking about my aligning it to sew? I usually use both the front piece and the bottom to align my sides perfectly. Sometimes it is easier to adjust the underneath part while sewing

So sorry. I have learned my lesson from these comments. I will not release block tutorials I will release full quilt tutorials. I was thinking making the blocks.
@marilynsykes1227 apparently you don't watch a lot of quilting vids. Theres tons of them about just making one block and they get plenty of views and likes. I cant help but see a lot of women on here being super judgy and unsupportive of other women. Rude. Seriously, just type "quilt block tutorial" in the youtube search bar. It's a thing.
Also, I loved your video just the way it is. Your happiness and enjoyment of your craft is encouraging and helpful. Thank you for putting yourself out there. Those colors are so cute. The block is great at showing the contrast. Quilting has a lot of seams for sure. For me that's a big part of the fun.
Also, did you ever think to skip through the video to see if you liked it? If your time is wasted it's your own fault for wasting it on things you dont like.

I agree to not watching her. I went to her channel looking for part 2 and there was nothing. I watched another of her tutorials and it ended the same way. No layout instructions nor image of finished quilt. Frustrating to watch. Going to temove her from watch history so YT doesn't send any more of her videos. 😮

If you will take our advice (more than me complained about this), and show how beautiful the project turned out, you should have nothing but thumbs up in the future. Wishing you the best.
