    Dude that combing technique that you used while hair drying your hair in the beginning actually for the first time helped me get the Pompadour style I want. Thank you so much!!!

    Ha random pics off to the side are a nice touch. I try to comb a pomp but parts of my hair are shorter than the rest and the ends slightly curl so doing so my hair sticks up when I want it to flatten...Advice?

    • @ThisGuyProductions
      @ThisGuyProductions  7 років тому

      Hey Ronny, The fresh wash and the gel really help me with that. My barber swears by some of the products he sells. I would say try some other products until you find the one that works for you. Are you using a blow dryer?

    The thumbnail pic wasn't my cup of tea, but the result in the video looks great. Personally I'm too hung up on the technique needing to be based on just pomade and a comb, something I can restyle on-the-go throughout the day... but hell, your result looks great!

    • @ThisGuyProductions
      @ThisGuyProductions  4 роки тому

      I've never used Suavecito. I stick to gel and hair spray. You cant run your fingers through it, but it doesn't look greasy.

    • @ThisGuyProductions
      @ThisGuyProductions  7 років тому +1

      It's Volumax available at Sally Beauty SUpply for like $10. I get the "Mega" cause it lasts forever. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and my pomp is still in tact.

    Can this be done using only 1 hand? I'm permanently disabled so that's why I'm asking this...

    • @ThisGuyProductions
      @ThisGuyProductions  4 роки тому

      Hey Daniel, TBH I dont know, but I have seen folks triumph even when other folks consider a condition a disability. Personally, I need to use both hands. One for the hairdryer and the other for the brush and hair spray. Perhaps you can get someone to back you up?

    • @ThisGuyProductions
      @ThisGuyProductions  6 років тому +2

      Janette Rossi not bad at all. You can rock a super pomp with longer hair. You just need to spend more time with some volumizing gel to get it to stand out before shaping it. A long time ago I had those long bangs and it was wicked. Think early Morrissey.
