Great job buddy! I’m not usually into motorbike content, but I really enjoyed this! I love the thought process and progress behind it. Plus, the editing is spot on! 👌🏻
I’ve taken a class with Cody when he was on a borrowed bike with non-gummy tires and stock suspension… he still embarrassed all of us. Ditto Jarvis, who has won races on bone stock Huskies. The pros bikes are set up well, but they are nothing magic. Their riding/speed is awesome because of their skills and experience. That was an awesome finish for your first hard enduro by the way. I don’t know what your background is, but you’re definitely no slouch on a bike! Nice video!
You’d get a much better feel for a pro bike if you got Cody’s shock and forks instead. Those guys travel with their suspension, it’s what makes the pro bikes so different. Great vid!
Great video! Well done at Silver King! What tires did the bike come with? Did you swap them out? If so, with what? I look forward to your progress on Cody’s bike!!
Thanks! The bike came with a Michelin Enduro extreme gummy on the rear and a Dunlop MX 53 on the front. I switched to a IRCIX09 on both the rear in the front for the race. The rear was amazing and the front was terrible. I don’t think I’ll ever ride a gummy on the front again. The rear IX09 is the best tire if you have going to replace your tire every 15 to 20 hours lol
fun video! I once bought a bike that had been set up and raced by a pro (Alan Gravitt). it was a stock bike with all stock parts but set up very carefully; I could tell the difference between it and if I had set it up myself with the knowledge I had back then. That said, it didn't make that much difference; It ran perfectly, sure, but off-road, the bike doesn't matter all that much. I could have swapped bikes with the guy who won the race, and still would not have been able to beat him. the best things I did for my riding had nothing to do with any particular bike; they were to take riding clinics from pros and to buy a trials bike and practice on that.
Some of the parts were for sure. I didn’t have his throttle, bars, skid plate and some other things. Most of what makes the bike perform like his was included.
@@IsaacJohnston Pro racers have insane suspension. I am pretty sure you didn't got his special suspension, you got the stock Sherco suspension unless you paid an insane amount of money for it. You most likely have the Keihin carb and not his Smart carb too.
And it sucks that sherco makes such bad bikes countless vids of them blowing up within minutes of purchase etc I wanted to like them they are just crap bikes

Thanks Alex! If I can get you interested in something you are not then I am hyped!
Great video, riding and honesty.
Absolutely nothng wrong with your riding skills.
Such a great watch! I feel like you definitely got better riding a lighter 2 stroke and figuring out the technique. Solid riding and racing!
I hope I did! So much more to learn and that’s part of the fun
Great rider and filmmaker 👍👍 great combo
Hey thanks! I try lol and I am always trying to get better at both
Awesome video man !! Salut from Canukistan !!
Thank you! Got to get up there and ride next summer
Nice job man! I think the bike helped you, Sherco is very good in technical areas. The next race will be in Romaniacs 😊
Isaac, you crushed it once again. Well done my man.
Thanks, Bryan! I look forward to whatever Collab we can get up to next

I read an article about an aussie former pro who won a hare scramble against modern bikes on a 80s XL185. Its the archer, not the arrow
Dang that would be insane to watch

Those lower pegs make a surprising difference. Especially for taller long legged riders. Combine that with the Astra Jarvis bend bars.
You're better than me bro. Well done, from another 40+ "vet".

That is the rear tire I run as well! I run a skinko mx 216 in the front . It’s a great tire and very predictable.
There are the great ones like Malcolm Smith, Dick Burlson, the Penton team… I was never of their caliber but I tried.
👏 cool
Awesome stuff here. It’s been a minute since I’ve seen one of your videos.
Yeah I’m stoked to be back in the saddle. I have a couple more videos in the hopper that I am stoked to share. Thanks for the comment!

What a great video
Pretty good if you ask me. Looked hard
Thanks man! Trying my best haha
@@IsaacJohnston damn good job
Now I randomly want to buy a bike so bad. Thanks Isaac, my wife won’t be happy about that ahah
Get a scooter and put knobbies on it mate lol you will be ripping
“It’s a win win!”
lol she is the best
EXACTLY!! THIS GUY HAS NEVER EVEN RACED...lol and i'm supposed to listen to his take? Please
Leave the dog at home.
I doubt the bike has the factory parts that Webb had. His mechanic most likely made the bike « stock » again before selling it.
