Maybe they will fix some of the issues, but from what I've seen, and been told by players who have been playing since beta, it don't look like they will ever fix the bugs.
for me this is DoA, just settings changes and you are still required to do dailies on adventure, what's the point, if they were modded worlds then you have much more of an intensive to play as people can make new stories and creatures, the only thing worth it in any of these is the building aspects, you can now create something cool with less restrictions
Sounds like a create your own scenario style for Fallout 76. Sounds like you can create a world and dictate how everyone and everything interacts in that world. Interesting, very interesting. Wonder if Bethesda will also use it as a way to create new content and ideas to add to the main game. Players create something different in these worlds that Bethesda hasn't thought of, they develope it so everyone in the main game can use it. Players that create the ideas gets rewarded. Say free atoms or something.

Just a question I've had on mind the last little while, as I spend too much time on creating character stories. lol Given that this game takes place just under a few decades from the apocalypse, it's easy to assume that either you or your parents were working at one of the companies found in Appalachia. That said, which company have you decided holds ties to your family? Were your family members experiments? Scientists? Did they work at West Tek? Slocum's Joe? Did they join a faction post bombs? Turned to scorched? Asking on so much head canon. This should be fun. lol
Hey innovsurvivalist Great video but One thing is wrong in your video - you can reimport your characters to worlds. It’s via the character select screen. When you select your character you can unlink them from a world allowing you to re-clone from adventure.
they need to allow you to rent a server so you can run a constant server with specified rules and settings indefintely with max players. I promise you within a month someone would craft the perfect server for exactly what you are looking for.
Yet more new things that prove the restrictions placed on players who don't have Fallout 1st are just there to punish players who didn't agree to a subscription when they bought the game for FULL FUCKING RETAIL PRICE.
Bro they are constantly updating and adding features. That shit isn't free. If you like the game after all these years is it hard to imagine giving the devs $8 per month. Your either broke or like to wine. No one is punishing players lol. Many other games offer similar features
Wow, I think this will be a content creator's wet dream! I also think new players, who don't have hundreds and hundreds of hours invested in adventure, will be quick to latch on to these new worlds. For those of us that have been playing since launch and have so much invested in adventure, this will be a tough sell given that there is no adventure progression in these new worlds. All loot and progression in "worlds" stays there seperate from adventure. Although my curiosity is peaked, and I surely will check these new worlds out, there is no way I'm going to abandon adventure, and all that I have invested in that mode.
As someone who has been created mods for FO3, NV, Skyrim, and FO4... we aren't actually that close to mods. There's still no deployment method for people joining your world. Even when that happens we're still going to be highly limited by the kinds of mods we can even create- they can't be large, if they're full of new assets like models, dialog, or textures they're going to quickly become too large for Bethesda to ever let us share them. This kinda impies they'll have to implement a distro system similar to what they had in Skyrim- each mod will have to be submitted and approved. We've got a long way to go.
I'd love new enemy types, weapons and armor. I Imagine having an m16, aa 12 automatic shotgun, 911, or AK 47. Also I wish they'd add the junk jet. Nothing is more satisfying than removing a super mutants head with an 8 ball.
I don't see why they won't just allow you to do ur daily and weeklys under the custom words but the one stipulation is certain settings must remain off for example turn off anything that may make it easier to complete them weekly and dailys Simple solution is they prompt you to check a box to say you agree that all progress will not be saved if these settings are left on Let's face it only reason anyone would want to play on a custom world would be for the camp restrictions that are lifted
@@InnovSurvivalist exactly see I am not fussed about all the settings all I want is the freedom to build anywhere and have so many lifted restrictions maybe this should be put to the dev team and see what they say
Would be so cool if we had a real tight immersive nuke world like that mod from FO4, Frost?. Add the mod of a backpack, tent, and cooking station. Make it like a nomad survival mode.
The new worlds are excellent for experimenting with new CAMP placements and layouts or craft and test any gear without sacrificing crafting materials and currencies and then replicate it on live server when satisfied.
@Jago Strife I know, I was meaning to make changes in the very same spot of your current camp locations and change only the positioning of the objects until you are satisfied with the new CAMP design. You can also use the custom private world to maintain the same Adventure restrictions and find a better place, build a new CAMP layout and then replicate it on the main server.
I love your videos. They are always really well done. I really don't see this as mod support. It's more like having your own PTS. It could be useful for testing and experimentation but doesn't really hold much appeal to someone who is into character building and progression. I just can't get excited over this feature. I would rather Bethesda fixed server stability and found a way to get rid of all the hacked weapons in the game.
QUESTION: Can we create a new character in the Custom World and do all of the story quests (Wastelanders & Brotherhood of Steel)?!? I know the progress can't be taken to the main servers BUT it'd be cool to experience the quest stories with some of these options turned on!!! Great video as always, take care! :-)
Yes, you can if you have an empty character slot. You can start from zero and have your own progress in a Custom World slot. Just make sure to never delete it or you'll erase all the progress there.
@@InnovSurvivalist ... AWESOME!!! This new sandbox is gonna be great! I just hope exploiters, glitchers, and cheaters don't mess it up somehow! Bethesda is being smart to isolate the Worlds from the main servers (if they didn't, then people would use abilities like instant enemy respawns to farm everything from XP to other stuff like the Score rewards that occur past 100 on the Scoreboard)! Thanks for the info, have fun on the PTS!!! 😊
Interesting but im not sure for what i should play that. I mean.. Its surely fun for a bit but generelly im not sure if that keeps me busy. Also to be honest, im kinda afraid about all the bugs wich will appear. Lets hope for the best
I'm wondering if crafted items like chems and food can be 'cloned' when you go back to a normal mode world? This seems like fun to tinker with in any case.
also not being connected to adventure mode is a good thing would be unfair but first i thought what the point. well then i thought of some things = try new legendary perks or new camps etc
It's good. For sure this will be builders heaven. For combat lovers, they can make the game super easy (godmode) or they can make it absolute nightmare (exactly as i like it to be).
I know that the custom world characters do not progress your normal character forward, but are quests in those worlds still enabled? As in you could do quests and progress in that world separately? Not sure if thats ever been mentioned or is implied.
I can't imagine I will be in any of these new worlds much with no progression. I understand why it would not be feasible to transfer progress, but with no rewards for anything....you will find me in normal and private worlds.
Settings =/= mods. Not even close considering mods you can not only make settings changes but you can add all new items, locations, NPC's, and game systems. This is just settings to already existing systems that Bethesda chose to allow if you pay them money which by that it makes them not mods. When I can upload all my FO4 models I created to a private server then I would say there is mod support.
I just hope they never force a wipe on custom worlds, if they don't then I would actually stay on that for good. I pretty much always play solo, I like a challenge yet hate how gimmicky parts of the game can feel, tuning the difficulty to something more exciting whilst making camps (and workshops) more fun would completely kill my need for the normal online.
Some questions. In the new custom worlds, if you build a workshop does it remain when you log out and come back later? And can you have multiple camps out at the same time?
To be honest owch, wazz hoping for actual content more end game, this is disappointing for me, no point to any of it, no challenges, no progression, no levels keeped
The High Risk world should be a normal game mode where progression is tide into adventure. I hate PvP but I know many people love it so why not give them their own game mode. Then PvP could be completely turned off in adventure and I don't have to get the "Pacifist mode enabled" UI notice every 5 sec in events.
They make this new mode and include pvp into it thinking that will satisfy us pvp lovers at they same time they make the pvp even more pointless by cutting progression out of pvp.
yes totally pointless I agree.. but hey we can enable pvp in custom with a whole 8 other player you actually know and wouldn't attack anyway... maaan, Bethesda, that's sooo awesome .. *falls asleep*

I own the game, and I'm level 60 or so. I haven't played for ages tho. Is there an objective to these worlds other than to spice up the content that people have beat into the ground ? why would a person go into other worlds, other than to mess with world settings or is that the whole point of it all. Thinking I will jump back in when expeditions comes around. I watch your video's to keep up on all things Fallout 76, great job.
These aren't the mods people have been waiting for. When we can play as CBBE Marta Branco and romance a Deathclaw in Fallout the Frontier 2, then you'll know what people were waiting for. :P
Creating a crazy PVP world for you and your friends would be fun but for people like me that don't have friends that play 76 it could get boring fast. I get that bringing character progression between fallout worlds and adventure wouldn't work as it can affect other players but eliminating the scoreboard challenges is kinda of meh since my score level doesn't affect other players.
So as someone who skipped fallout 4, but has heard of the amazing work done by a mod community in fallout 4... does this new update signal the eventual ability to create your own maps and junk for other players to enjoy? Or is it simply going to be a way to adjust the physics of the actual game in more of a private world kinda deal? Cause I have a bunch of fallout ideas / stories I'm currently trying to recreate in other mediums, but an online one where others could come and check it out would be awesome!
We are far from that right now but this is the beginning. 30 Settings are something if you know what I mean. It's nothing compared to FO4 mods but it's a start to a new path.
So, if I wanted a PvP world without legendaries that would be possible except I'd be limited to 8 players and the World owner being online? Unless it's one of Beth's public Worlds - only available that month? I guess this is cool but I'm not a builder so the CAMP stuff is not that interest, I have no interest in progressing in a World that doesn't carry over to public (or private) Adventure, and PvP is, well, limited. Starting a new toon is a World that doesn't have legendaries and with harder enemies (lookin' at you Deathclaws) for a more 'realistic' game could be fun, but it doesn't excite me more than the dissapointment of losing NW.
custom world you can set crafting to free... just craft a billion legendaries until you get the roll you need :) you can literally test high end meta builds here.

I was told I was a moron because “we just got an update with quests” and “don’t you look at the calendar…they are giving us new quests and events later this year…” oh and “be patient.” I’ve been playing since launch…I’m pretty sure that automatically qualifies me as patient when it comes to this game. Apparently, “I don’t get it” because “this is what everyone has been asking for since launch…”
@@cjbryantphoto It's messed up that you got ripped for just expression yourself. I like the game but with all the bugs, it's just not fun to play anymore, specially now with all the cheaters crashing servers.
2:41 Daaamn Innov. You shot tf out of that Scorched 😂
Ahah yes, that's one of the gore options :P
@@InnovSurvivalist That'll work. It looks like fun.
Yep, it's definitely a system to create your own experience, therE's a lot of settings to tweak things as you want it to be.
@@InnovSurvivalist in custom worlds do you get to play story missions and wastelanders dlc with character progression.. i just want to play cw so i can turn up the difficulty but am not going to pay to get 1st worlds if i cant. can you please tell me because i cant seem to find this out anywhere for some reason
Just a question I've had on mind the last little while, as I spend too much time on creating character stories. lol
Given that this game takes place just under a few decades from the apocalypse, it's easy to assume that either you or your parents were working at one of the companies found in Appalachia. That said, which company have you decided holds ties to your family? Were your family members experiments? Scientists? Did they work at West Tek? Slocum's Joe? Did they join a faction post bombs? Turned to scorched?
Asking on so much head canon. This should be fun. lol
Great vid...so much covered in less than 20 mins....well done and thanks x
Glad it was helpful!
I don’t feel too excited for this I think I’m going to end up just playing regular adventure still
I prefer your analysis even later then the "others"... Much higher quality! The difference of fast food and a great chef :-)
Glad to hear that! I always take my time to test properly... I don't rush for the quick views :P
So true, eveyone else just read the settings lol
Hey innovsurvivalist
Great video but One thing is wrong in your video - you can reimport your characters to worlds.
It’s via the character select screen. When you select your character you can unlink them from a world allowing you to re-clone from adventure.
Mine would be a pvp server with all traps enabled with relaxed build rules.
And your friends gonna go to this world n be your victims?
No
These guides and overviews are always so helpful, love the videos
As always, you give a great perspective
Glad you think so!
they need to allow you to rent a server so you can run a constant server with specified rules and settings indefintely with max players.
Great video, thanks! Private worlds look cool but hoping for more complex mod support such as new skins, enemies, locations, story content, etc..👍🔥😎
This is only the start, I hope :)
@@InnovSurvivalist That would be incredible, lets hope! Thanks again for all the work you put into these videos, much appreciated. 😃
Thank you so much thanks for giving so much more information then other channels 🖤🖤🖤
Happy to help!
Imagine having an m16, aa 12 automatic shotgun, 911, or AK 47. Also I wish they'd add the junk jet. Nothing is more satisfying than removing a super mutants head with an 8 ball.
finally subbed, first guide with solid info i was looking for - time for my BOS Tesla Airship!!!
I don't see why they won't just allow you to do ur daily and weeklys under the custom words but the one stipulation is certain settings must remain off for example turn off anything that may make it easier to complete them weekly and dailys
Simple solution is they prompt you to check a box to say you agree that all progress will not be saved if these settings are left on
Let's face it only reason anyone would want to play on a custom world would be for the camp restrictions that are lifted
Maybe that's too difficult for them to do, who knows... It feels useless to play when there is no progression.
I'm unbelievably excited about this. The only thing I worry about is never making any progress since I'll never play the vanilla version again lol
Lol totally understandable!
Bethesda said this is only the start but who knows... I agree as it is now, it's more like a test/mess around sort of servers.
I hope custom worlds allows me to recreate the game so it has end game content atleast geez
It can generate different experiences that's for sure.
@@InnovSurvivalist And the custom world progress will be saved forever? They won't delete it at some point down the line?
Late release but good guide as always!
Thanks!
SILENCE WELP!!!!1! i mean... that's not very nice sir, and or madam.
Hmm... That looked like experience gain with an unlimited ammo option available. Interesting.
Interesting but im not sure for what i should play that. I mean.. Its surely fun for a bit but generelly im not sure if that keeps me busy.
Also to be honest, im kinda afraid about all the bugs wich will appear. Lets hope for the best
Indeed, I think it's more like a fun/testing tool right now than anything else. Hopefully the foundation for mod support.
I have a feeling I’ll be spending a lot of time in the Butcher’s Delight world.
🩸 BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! 🩸
I wonder if the jump height will also increase the marsupial mutation jump height
FO76 lost the ability to hype me in any way
3:31 what could possibly go wrong?
EEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVERRRRRRRYYYYTHINGGGGAH!!!!!!!!
So far, nothing went wrong. I did several tests to understand how the character imports work, but who knows.
There's only one problem with "High Risk" worlds. And that's Hacked weapons, if players was able to spawn with it.
I'm wondering if crafted items like chems and food can be 'cloned' when you go back to a normal mode world? This seems like fun to tinker with in any case.
The custom world seems promising but that Fallout 1st thing really puts my off.....
also not being connected to adventure mode is a good thing would be unfair but first i thought what the point. well then i thought of some things = try new legendary perks or new camps etc
this was super informative I feel confident buying this now, thanks!
It's good. For sure this will be builders heaven. For combat lovers, they can make the game super easy (godmode) or they can make it absolute nightmare (exactly as i like it to be).
You can build everywhere, it's insane I had some fun building inside Foundation few ago lol
How does the coop work in custom worlds?
Can me and a friend complete story missions together?
Agreed
Ya I love the lore so this sucks to.
The High Risk world should be a normal game mode where progression is tide into adventure. I hate PvP but I know many people love it so why not give them their own game mode. Then PvP could be completely turned off in adventure and I don't have to get the "Pacifist mode enabled" UI notice every 5 sec in events.
They make this new mode and include pvp into it thinking that will satisfy us pvp lovers at they same time they make the pvp even more pointless by cutting progression out of pvp.
yes totally pointless I agree.. but hey we can enable pvp in custom with a whole 8 other player you actually know and wouldn't attack anyway... maaan, Bethesda, that's sooo awesome
.. *falls asleep*
adding to that, WE CAN FINALLY BUILD UP APPALACHIA EVERYWHERE!!! on a server were basically nothing has meaning... *sad* *unsure* yeah...?
This should be really cool for casual players
Thank you for the great video and showing us what the customer world's are what's your favorite custom world just curious have a great weekend
Like how much more info you go into cant wait for more info on this update, hopefully smart enough to face safe trading system like warframe.
I tried my best to make a complete overview :P Hope it helped!
I'm so excited for High Risk.
I feel this is a waste of time and money for Bethesda and Fallout fans.
This is how they are going to test custom mods. They already mentioned they want to implement Creation Club or Creation Kit mods. Fallout 4 style.
@@sthandust9755 I don't care for Fallout 76 to have mods or not. Look at it this way, what use does it have if there is no progression? Plus say you download your character at level 50 said mod world. That character will stay at level 50 and if you wanted to download a later more leved up same character you would have to delete the whole world to do so. Didn't you listen to what she was saying? The only use I see for the moded worlds with no progression is creating private designed PvP worlds. Plus I haven't heard of anyone willing to dump more money in this broken game from the Fallout Franchise we love. It would be like painting an old rotten barn and trying to sell as if it's new, to me. I would like to see them fix a lot of the bugs this game has then for them to try and sell me mods from their creation club. It shows they are only intrested in scamming money out of it's players than selling a quality product. And I'm a Microsoft game tester plus Ambassador for Xbox, However I must draw a line in the sand on this matter. You know what they say though a fool and his money will soon be parted, However I'm sure Bethesda will find some.
@@guidingmule5745 Hiyya :) I love Fallout 76, bugs and all. Why? Because it is beautiful and I know that they will fix it. I pay for Fallout 1st, because I love having my private world to build my camps, in private, for I let others in. I love this so much
@@sthandust9755 I pay for the fallout 1st to have my on private world and love it myself. However like I always say this is my opinion which don't include anyone else, but just me. I don't care for modded fallout worlds with no progression. Plus I hate to see nuclear winter go for it's one of Fallout 76 best feature to me. There are some glitchs that crashes servers and that effects all players. So having that fixed is worth more to me than modded worlds with no progression and the lost of nuclear winter and this is my opinion not yours or anyone elses. Thank you for your response, However I don't remember asking for anyone else to respond how they felt about the subject. I pay to play Fallout 76 like all the other die hard fans of Fallout 76. Plus put my own money into the game to buy items out of shop. I have also clock many hours into the game as you. So you are not that special for their are many who have done what you've done that love the game. Each player has a right to their opinion on these matters. And to have the right to not be bugged by others just for stating their on opinion. It's great you are working on modding your private world, however it will still be a world without progression in the end. So if you want a higher level player then when you firist set up your world. You will have to start fresh to download your new player with a higher level. Plus I am a game tester for Xbox and beta tester for Microsoft and this is a fact. So like I said I don't care for Bethesda's changes for Fallout 76 and no one can change my opinion on this matter. To clear something up I do mod games, however those games by Bethesda don't stop progression only achievements. This is just Bethesda trying to make a quick cash cow and nothing more.
@@guidingmule5745 Oh please don't think I am dismissing your opinion. I just want people to stand behind the FO76 team and let them fix this. That's all
So we won't be able to make Nuclear Winter worlds with the new world options?
Honestly just the free building and increased budget and space is enough for me to play so my friends and i can nust build cool houses lol
Sweet! I can craft unlimited legendaries and be my own God in my own world! :D
I'm already hyped for this, I cannot wait!
Yep, you can do almost anything you want there.
I still don't understand.
In the workshop mode, how close can two people build or is that still the same? Would love to do a permanent joint build with a mate
I didn't test it yet but it should be very close with the radius increase and less building restrictions.
@@InnovSurvivalist you responded!! I love your videos, they have certainly given me more ideas in game. Keep up the great work:)
They should add a world for legacy weapon user, and adventure world should ban those legacy weapon.
These aren't the mods people have been waiting for. When we can play as CBBE Marta Branco and romance a Deathclaw in Fallout the Frontier 2, then you'll know what people were waiting for. :P
They said this is the start, so let's see!
Can we still at least do the main quest and the dlc in our custom world? If yes, then that a win for me
Do we know if you unlock something from the scoreboard if it carries over to your custom world? For example power armor display
Yes
@@davidl7813 Thanks for the information
@@InnovSurvivalist Well a step in the right direction is still a step I guess haha!
Innov,
TY for another Great Vid .
Thanks, good overview!
Thanks for watching!
