There are two translations of this hymn. This particular translation is by the Late Arch Cor Episcopa Kaniamparambil Kurian Achen (He was the Malankara Malpan and vaideeka trustee of the Patriarch faction) and was done in 1976. There is another translation "Ekathmaja Deva" by the late Konatt Abraham Malpan (he was the Malankara Malpan of the Catholicose faction) and Shri C.P Chandy and that was done in 1978. This hymn is also used in the service of anointing the sick with oil.
