- We're here to discuss a film that was in the theaters of December of last year. Remember 2024? When federal aid given to American citizens wasn't frozen due to the complete ineptitude of the sitting President of the United States? It's not even a week into his presidency and these problems will persist for years after his time in office. This was a fun film. It has great effects, performances, and direction that makes you feel thrilled throughout the entirety of the movie. No one saw it! Go see it if you haven't!

Better Man Stars Robbie Williams, Jonno Davies, Steve Pemberton, Damon Herriman, Raechelle Banno, Alison Steadman, Kate Mulvany, Jake Simmance, Liam Head, Jesse Hyde, Chase Vollenweider, Tom Budge, Leo Harvey-Elledge, Chris Gun, Frazer Hadfield, Anthony Hayes, John O'May. Directed by Michael Gracey.
Robbie is huge Rat Pack fan and the point in the movie is that his shared love of the rat pack with his father is what inspired him to become a performer and to be a “somebody” to his father.
The duet he sings with his father at the end of the movie is a depiction of what actually happened in real life, when Robbie performed a swing set at the Royal Albert Hall and invited his father to sing on stage with him.
He sang a duet with Sinatra during this concert with the permission of Sinatra’s estate.
If you get to the end of this movie and question why they used a Sinatra song then you haven’t fully understood the movie.
The song “Forbidden Road” that plays during the credits is a Robbie song
Great review. One of these movie reviewers loves musicals. Any guesses??
Knebworth is not a festival it was a solo concert!
The reason he doesn’t become a human is because the movie is about self acceptance. Robbie still sees himself as a monkey, but he accepts it at the end
