Nice model. I like that double dice effect at range 1 & 3 for Talonbane. I want to fly scum, but I'm gonna stick to my schedule to buy earlier waves and then purchase MW. Then I can convert all my rebel/ Slave1 ships to S&V.
Something I'm finding with these hull-point-heavy ships is that they are prone to flying around with critical damage. It's good to be able to keep fighting but not so good when you have to fight on with pilot skill zero, for example. However, this ship has the benefit of being able to outturn even a regular TIE and hit harder, so it's got a few pluses without just being an x-wing clone. I'm just trying to figure out if the Protectorate fighter is a better option or not, since it can go toe to toe with an Interceptor.
+Slyder824 - It's coming but it'll be awhile. We're in the middle of moving so everything is packed up. But we'll be back and better than ever before long!
Ernest Spencer Yes, there is a lot of stuff in wave 7 that seems specifically designed to counter pilots like Soontir Fel and Whisper who have been dominate in the current tournament-level metagame. Crack Shot, Latts Razzi, Homing Missiles, low pilot skill (Enhanced Scopes makes a comeback in the TIE Punisher expansion) with new and more varied ways to drop bombs... it all adds up to a MUCH more hazardous environment for those high agility/low health pilots.
They should absolutley make Tarkin's Carrion Spike a ship in the game for the imperials According to the new canon it existed inbetween episode 3 and 4 so it could be a perfect awesome addition to the imperials
***** It would be cool but I doubt it'll happen. That thing is bigger than a CR90 Corvette so it would have to be a second $100 huge ship for the Imperials and I kind of doubt that they're going to do that. But, you never know.
I love the way the starvipper looks and flys but I would rather fly 2 or 3 or these with a hounds tooth to see what happens. Think you would get more out of that but I love that stripper.
Thanks for the reply, I was actually able to find it on ebay for about 4$, i dont think I am ready for an assault carrier haha. Cheers dude, your channel is an amazing tool for beginners.
I don't know that I would call disposable elite pilot skills "solid". There are too many good cards for that slot to really consider Crackshot more than subpar. Just my 2c. Otherwise, I dig your reviews.
+TheGreatHamEl - I think that it's very situational. But if I had it, and I could use it to remove a pilot like Soontir Fel or Whisper from the table... I think I'd say that it was pretty solid.
I think it would have to be in a build with a good number of ships and you can only spare a few points per ship. I would've preferred they had costed it higher and let it stay on the table.
+The Cardboard Dungeon Yeah, I agree. Tossing a focus or target lock to do it would feel very samey to other abilities (in terms of finding an alternate cost).
as a collector focussed player I also love the design.
I've been throwing money at this game since 2012 and I can say your channel is the best. Keep'em coming!
Thanks!
I can't wait for your review of the K-wing!
Casey Brown Later today!
Just got mine in. With the paint job and general design it appears the Romulans are invading X Wing. :) Great reviews btw
+DoogieCupcake - Thanks! And yeah, this does look like it got imported from some other sci-fi series.

Well done. Clear and to the point. Keep up the good work.
Talonbane is the S&V Wedge now. Great pilot wow
I see this being a very tough ship to go up against.
Love these videos!!! When do we get an Imperial Raider review?
+Slyder824 - It's coming but it'll be awhile. We're in the middle of moving so everything is packed up. But we'll be back and better than ever before long!
Nicely done. Salute:)
this ALMOST makes me want to start playing some Scum ships. I ordered the MW expansion, I might have to go get me a couple of these to complement it.
Great - I think Soontir Fel's job just got a little more difficult.

+Barron H - I agree, I feel like this is the objectively better ship between the two.

Thanks for the reply, I was actually able to find it on ebay for about 4$, i dont think I am ready for an assault carrier haha. Cheers dude, your channel is an amazing tool for beginners.

+TheGreatHamEl - I agree, but I think if it was permanent it would be very expensive.

Too bad the name of the pilot sucks. :D
